Taro cake milk drink w boba: Soooo good! The boba here is awesome! It passed the squish, size, and flavor test; it has a nice honey flavor but isn't too sweet like kft. The taro is like real mashed taro like meet fresh but not as easily drinkable because of the thickness; the flavor is perfect though (delicately sweet and starchy). The brûlée is very faint but I do taste that like sweet egg flavor. The milk actually works really well with everything and makes it not as sweet and the other components balance out any nasty milk flavor. Best drink!!!!! This drink itself is 5/5 Brulee matcha w boba: The boba is fantastic but this drink is not. I could barely taste any matcha and the matcha is in slushie format and tastes super milky. When searching for boba places in Las Vegas, I was so excited to find that there was a boba shop similar to the one I have back at home, Omomo Tea Shoppe. Several weeks ago, I made it a point to come out of my way to visit Tea Maison. However, to my disappointment, the drinks were very subpar to the boba shop back in California. The service was slow as well, but I let that slide since there were quite a few families that ended up here. My brother and I ordered the Matcha Milk Green Tea and Brulee Matcha. I have to say, it was a really big waste of our money. My brother ordered his Matcha Milk Green Tea without ice and they had a ton of ice in it. We asked to get it corrected and they took out the ice and just added milk, which left the drink to be a $5.50 cup of milk. I ordered the Brulee Matcha and it tasted very watered down with absolutely no flavor at all. Not only that, when I was taking sips of it, I encountered a plasticy thing in my drink. I spat it out and found a red bean. To me, it looks like they cross-contaminate or they don't keep things neat and in order. Overall, I say Tea Maison is safe to skip. read more

Tried out Tea Maison yesterday during my first visit to the new Shanghai Plaza. Location: small tea shop on the inner corner of the plaza. Lots of parking available before 1pm. Actual space was pretty small with limited seating- all orders were taken to go (they have drink carriers in plastic bags if you order 2+ drinks). Ordered: Brûlée Thai tea-- was average: flavor wasn't strong. slushy consistency. Didn't notice much/any differences in taste or texture with the brûlée added in. Price: $5.50 (don't forget to check in to get 10% off). Seemed a bit expensive for the quality of the drink received. Verdict: I wouldn't go out of my way to get tea here, but if I'm in Shanghai plaza I may consider trying out a different drink. read more

Okay so I was really hoping to like this place as we walked into Sharetea and walked to try this new place instead. I got two drinks, one was the strawberry fruit tea and the other was the jumbo fruit tea (first option). Both drinks were excessively sweet and I did not like it at all. Usually fresh fruit tea there isn't an option to change the sweetness because the sweetness comes from the natural fruit. I was expecting the same from this drink but they added way too much sugar in there. My drink costed over $5. The only thing I liked was the cup so I took it back to New York. I saw another customer waiting for awhile because I waited 15 mins for my own drink. Apparently the other customer had ordered on Grubhub in advance and she was standing there waiting for awhile but they didn't make her drink until she said something. The friendly girl at the cashier answered all questions and made suggestions. I opted for the super fruit tea with lychee because the fresh fruit looked too good to pass up on a hot day. I only got 25% sweet and it was plenty sweet for me. The lychee made it even sweeter so next time I would get no added sweetness. The tea was served in a large cup with fresh cut watermelon, orange, lime, and some other things. Bottom was lychee and topped off with what appeared to be some crushed ice. This thing was massive! It even had a small fork to help with eating the fruit. I couldn't finish it I was so full lol and wanted to save a little room for dinner. I think this is a great snack option. When I sat down with my drink, a young girl said to me "that's such a pretty drink! Can I take a photo?" So funny but true because it was such a delightful tea. I ordered the strawberry cheese tea drink through Uber eats. When I received it I was disappointed because I was expecting some kind of foam at the top but I'd never ordered cheese tea before. So then when I was describing it to another friend they were like yeah they didn't give you any cheese phone. This place is a hit or miss for me. The first time I tried Tea Maison was when my sister brought home the matcha Oreo brûlée drink and when I tried it I knew I had to go back and get it again. However, when I went back to get the same drink, it did not taste the same. It was pretty watered down and not very sweet. I was sooo disappointed. But my bf got the Thai brulee milk tea and that was really yummy. My cousin got the honey green milk tea and she said it was so good. But another time we came in and they ran out of almond milk and the brûlée so it eliminated a lot of our choices. Overall, with the many boba places opening up around town, I don't think you'd be missing out on anything special if you decided not to come here. The people that work here are consistently not very welcoming at all and seem really uninterested in serving you. I'm always on the hunt for great cheese cap and sea salt places, and so I dropped by today for the grand opening. It's a small shop, but the service was great and for how busy they were today, and they took care of my order very quickly. The menu was on a clipboard and they had a few copies to pass around, most likely because the TV mounted to the wall still wasn't ready. I ordered Mango cheese cap at 75% sweetness with mango jelly, and while they were out of mango jelly for the time being, they were willing to accommodate me with passion fruit jelly. The cheese cap was very smooth going down, creamier and smoother than arguably any other place I've found in Vegas. It's a particularly good thing because sometimes, I feel the cheese caps in some places are too thick or too clumpy and don't allow the tea to push through. 1st Time here and unfortunately not super impressed with what I ordered! I got the Taro Cake Milk Tea from the Maison Specials menu and I added boba and egg pudding. Each of the drinks I asked about were restricted to one of three sizes - weird. Mine was the smaller or the sizes, but that worked out for me cause I wasn't a fan. When I first read the item, I thought the taro would be a creamy, sweet spread like in the Filipino "pan de ube" but what was in the drink reminded me more of beans, so I was kinda disappointed, especially because the cashier told me it would be sweet. Though I could see the cake at the bottom of the drink, I didn't really get the "cake" taste part of the drink at all. Boba was cooked well, and the egg pudding tasted good. I am not giving up on this place though, I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I wish they had more flexibility on whichever cup you wanted. Location is in the new pretty complex of Chinatown, very excited for what else is going to be offered so that I can hopefully stop by Tea Maison for boba and some good eats close by.
