Insect inside the salad!!! Extremely disappointed and disgusted!!!! I will report this incident to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. I ordered a buy-one-get-one salad through Uber Eats. I took one bite of the first salad and immediately discovered an insect in the food during my second bite. I spit the food out right away and stopped eating. The second salad was never opened or touched. I took photos and kept the food as evidence. When I contacted the restaurant, I was simply told to seek a refund through Uber Eats. I did that, but I don't think I need to elaborate on the refund process since that's not the point. The issue is not the refund. The issue is that there was an insect in a ready-to-eat salad. That raises serious concerns about sanitation and quality control. read more

After 2-3 years, it's still a really solid poke place! I'm generally not in this area as often but when I had to run errands here, I jumped on the chance to come back again ! The small build your own bowl was a huge amount of food for just only me, so I ate some and saved some later for dinner. For my small bowl, I got: -Salmon -Spicy tuna -Brown rice -Drizzle of spicy mayo -Cucumber mix in -Wasabi wave sauce -Edamame -Corn -Crispy onion -Furikake -Sesame seeds -Seaweed salad -Imitation crab meat The brown rice was moist, not dry at all and steaming hot! Made it home in the rain and me dawdling around and was still nice and warm to eat! Fish was as fresh as ever and given a generous portion, so that when mixed in I was able to get a bite of protein each time. Loved the toppings that I got and the spicy mayo isn't overly sweet and the wasabi wave had a nice slow heat to it, but wasn't too spicy either. I think just keep in mind that the cucumber mix in had cilantro in it so it surprised me a bit, but for those who hate cilantro, TAKE NOTE ! I also got a Thai Tea to go and once again super sweet and flavor is very strong, like BMC level strong. Great to keep you awake for the rest of the day! I usually go for their medium create your own bowl with white rice and spring mix, 3 scoops of salmon, seaweed salad, corn, edamame, jalapeños, fried garlic and their house sauce. Prices are pretty reasonable starting at $11.95 for the small bowl, $13.95 for the medium bowl and $15.95 for the large bowl. They also have boba but I haven't had a chance to try them out! Their customer service is amazing. During my last visit, my sister had ordered two bowls through their website in advance so that we could just pick up and leave, but there was a system error that switched our order with someone else's so we ended up with one bowl instead of the two that we paid for. When I realized this, we went back to the store and the worker was very nice. She apologized countless of times for the mistake and even made us another bowl which saved us from the hassle of having to contact the website.
