The ambiance and service are also quite nice. I was able to get some work done here and there are a good amount of tables for either chatting or getting work done. I went on a Thurs and Fri morning and the music was at a good volume though does get a little loud at times. Sometimes the staff will bring you your drink which I thought was nice of them. The pandan added subtle vanilla-like and floral notes along with just the right amount of sweetness. Best of all, it was not overly sweet, which is where a lot of specialty coffee drinks miss the mark for me. The flavors complemented each other beautifully without either one overpowering the other. That said, this place is chaotic. If you're in a rush, I probably would not recommend it. My coffee took about 20 minutes, and the operation felt busy and hectic. Honestly, though, it was worth the wait to try authentic, high-quality Vietnamese coffee in Houston. If pandan is not your thing, don't worry. They have a huge menu with plenty of other coffee and drink options to choose from. For coffee lovers, this is the kind of place worth seeking out. Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. Fresh pineapple mango was fine but the pineapple syrup overpowered the flavor of the tea. My least favorite was the Jasmine cloud tea, it wasn't terrible but the tea wasn't strong, very subtle. The drink was saved by their cheese foam, can't go wrong with that. Overall, it's a good spot. No complaints. I can't wait to come back and try their desserts.
