They also encourage you to go with them so you can ask questions and they can explain things as they go (to be honest, it saves a lot of questions when you get your report, usually that same day, but most importantly it makes you an informed buyer). We are purchasing a house that is only one year old, but there are many things to know and consider, from builder's neglect (like stuff that can fall into the plumbing) to owner's bliss, where they overlook issues due to it being a new home! In our case, knowledge is power and Rock Star's inspection not only gave us peace of mind for one of the largest purchases of a lifetime but also gave us ideas on changes and/or upgrades that we can/might do. Cut corners left and right, had to be corrected and monitored constantly for mistakes, and installed our exterior door crooked.
