    "I want the strawberry!"
    Hiromi R.

**Rating with a small child** My 5 year old and I like to go around Pasadena and explore boba & dessert places. We always get the taro or strawberry boba, and today we were feeling more strawberry with extra boba! Place is quaint, enough tables, and basic snacks to entice a small child. The staff was very friendly and treated my son with respect (which is very important to me and always something I look for in a business when I'm with my son). We hung out here for a while as we sipped on our boba and watched the trains roll by at the nearby station. The drink was pretty good, and the extra boba made my son really happy. I didn't try their bubble waffle but sounds like something I'll come back for! I also liked how the cafe supports local businesses and lets people advertise their small business on the bulletin board. It's very community-friendly! Thumbs up from us!

I love the new kiosk they added inside. When they are busy with people you can opt to order with the kiosk which is super helpful and easy to use. They also always have snacks to purchase like chips and candy to pair with your drink. The blueberry banana smoothie was so good. I really enjoyed the freshness because it didn't taste like artificial flavoring. The only downside to this place is the higher cost.

To be honest being in BoBa business is very competitive these days. So compare to all good places this is very low. Inside the shop didn't look very clean and the taste of coffee is Starbucks quality( which is low to me). I wouldn't get anything if I wasn't in rush. Service was good though, they were pretty fast with my order.

almond milk tea & house milk tea/ strawberry black tea split cup
    Jessica W.

I was very intrigued by the split cup since there isn't any boba place that does this. I got the split drink of the house milk tea and the strawberry black tea both with boba since it was free. My hubby got the almond milk tea with boba. I did not like the 3 drinks we got at all. The flavor of the tea is a bit bitter, and it seems that it's a couple of days old kinda taste. And the milk tea was a bit water down and not as rich. The only good part was the boba, but the only thing is, I wish it was a bit sweeter since it is very bland. No public restroom, and there are about 3-4 tables inside. Plus, the drinks are a bit overpriced and would get it at a better place instead of the same price or less.

Perfect place for a sweet Boba tea stop! Sweet location even on a rainy day. Cozy location at night. We came by for a tropical boba tea and bubble waffle ice cream snack around 9:30pm on a cold rainy night. Just perfect! Parking was available right in front. Very satisfying drink during snack. I'll be back!

Simply Pure. Simply Delicious. Simply Simple. That's what this simple review is about. Let us begin. Simplee Boba (est 2017) is a small boba tea and dessert shop that want to bring back the natural and organic ingredients of boba drinks. They're one of the stores located along Mission street and Meridian ave in SoPas. Interior decor was modest with very little decor in their massive white wall; seats were limited. Their menu has a plethora of drinks, desserts and snacks. I was looking for a new boba place and found them. I came here on a late Tuesday afternoon after a long day at work. I was perfunctorily greeted by a young small staff. I ordered an avocado smoothie with grass jelly and a egg chocolate waffle with strawberry, mochi, lychee jelly as toppings. Minutes later, my smoothie arrived and egg waffle. My avocado smoothie was light in avocado flavor that you can barely taste it, conversely its texture was very smooth and milky. The egg waffle was delightful and perfect in sweetness. Prices were very reasonable. Free wifi available. Parking is mostly metered but there a public lot nearby. Service was impeccable and their staff was friendly and professional. Overall, I would recommend this modest lil boba tea and dessert shop. I'd come back again.

This review is based off of a delivery from Uber eats. The boba was great overall, the options on them were plentiful. The flavor was on point with just the right amount of boba. They were both solid picks. I had the Tiger Sugar milk tea and the oolong milk tea with tiramisu cream. I'd definitely order from here again and try their other menu items.

Before you hit the road for a long drive, I highly recommend that you get a mango slushy with boba from Simplee Boba. I did that today, and not only did it keep me cool in the 90° temperatures, but it made the ride so much more enjoyable. It tasted wonderful, and I was served very quickly. Can't beat that! I look forward to returning soon.

I came in for the first time like 2 weeks ago with the young girl that I nanny for. What a nice surprise to find this shop! The drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. It's conveniently located on mission street in south Pasadena. Parking can get a little challenging but there's always parking on the side streets. Now when I'm at work and I'm craving a Thai milk tea with boba I will come here!! Thank you Simplee Boba!!

I couldnt take a leak here despite being here for 3+ hours working on some stuff. On September 30, 2022, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1632 into law. This bill requires a place of business that is open to the general public for the sale of goods and that has a toilet facility for its employees to allow any individual who is lawfully on the premises of that place of business to use that toilet facility during normal business hours, even if the place of business does not normally make the employee toilet facility available to the general public. Businesses are subject to a civil penalty for a willful or grossly negligent violation of this requirement. However, businesses may not be sued for a violation as the bill does not create a private right of action. I can't sue but i can leave a review. Plus the disney music is annoying.

It's small and cozy, but that just adds to the charm and creates this intimate, relaxing vibe. Highlights Great public parking behind the shop. The service is fantastic and the two guys that I met were genuinely friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. The shop has a sign saying no laptops inside, and honestly, I loved it. It turns the place into a true social space where people actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. The seating is thoughtfully arranged facing the windows, so beautiful natural sunlight pours in and gives everything such a warm, uplifting feel. They make their own oat milk in-house, and it makes such a difference our drinks tasted absolutely delicious, rich and smooth. The whole place just has great vibes all around.

The crisp taste of well-brewed coffee and chai is refreshing. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment. Also, this is a "Laptop Free Establishment." They have no available electrical outlets and no customer internet.) I arrived at Two Kids (South Pasadena) on Tuesday (around 12:28PM). Parking is free and available. Two Kids (South Pasadena) is located across from South Pasadena City Hall. There's a competitive, free lot in the rear; it's a "4 Hour Parking Limit." Also, there's available, competitive free street parking. Staff is very mellow, professional, and respectful. Staff politely answered all my questions, and Staff felt very low stress. This location is surprisingly popular, and Staff easily breaks into friendly conversation. My drink took about three minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Espresso w/ Milk & Chai ($6.75 - Iced). The drink is very underwhelming, but it's 1000% better than any chain coffee joint. The Espresso w/ Milk & Chai had a light enduring caffeine, and its flavor is very basic and simple. I would not drive a long distance for these drinks, but if I lived in the immediate area, this business is an easy spot to incorporate into a daily routine. It's affordable and good enough. On ambiance, Two Kids (South Pasadena) happily embraces its "just good enough" features. It lacks many basic amenities; there's no restroom, no customer internet, and no electrical outlets. They proudly have MANY little signs proclaiming how it's a "laptop free establishment." The location is also small; there's about two counter tables and three tiny stool tables. However, Two Kids (South Pasadena) is comfortable. I especially appreciated the air purifier and the strong ventilation. The place felt airy and refreshing. Also, the stereo system is very clear and with chill music. They even had one tiny bottle of hand sanitizer by the counter. It's also very animal friendly since I saw customers walk inside with their dogs on the leash. Overall, Two Kids (South Pasadena) feels built to serve the local community. It's not an impressive spot, but there's glimpses of passion for locals. If you live nearby Two Kids (South Pasadena), I recommend. It's not bad at all. 4.3 out of 5

I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion.
