Idk if I came on an off day or what but will not be coming back. Located on the corner of Mission & Meridian. Next to the train tracks ~ Parking was a hassle though. They have a few in the back that seems to be always full or you can try your luck on the the street. I tried coming here a couple of times but could never find parking so I gave up. Just got really lucky this time to find a space in the front. Inside: Plenty of tables if you want to chill or study. When I came, almost all the tables were taken besides the 2 big ones in the middle. Now we get to ordering part. Looked over the menu and decided to get the following: --Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea (girl taking my order suggest getting an extra Matcha Shot since I'm getting a large, so I did) with NO ICE, since I'm taking it home and not drinking it now --What the Melon (was not in stock, so couldn't try) --Fresa Fresca (also was not in stock, so can't try.....) --Heart of Ocean (since my first 2 picks were out) with light ice since I'm going to be drinking it now Waited about 5 mins and got my order. Saw that the Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea was with ice so I told the the guy who gave it to me it was suppose to be without ice and he just took it back mixing the drink (not saying anything) and the girl who took my order said "didn't you say with light ice", I said no, that was for the other order. So the guy who made the drink and her was talking near the sink behind the counter about how I didn't say that in low voices next to each (mind you, I can still hear it). If you're going to talk crap about "my mistake", don't do it in front of me. So I got the drink back with the ice just poured out, no apology or anything. I can tell they were over it by not cleaning the drink (see the picture). Tried both drinks and have to say it was nothing special. --Heart of Ocean: pretty and that's it. Just tasted like all lemonade, didn't taste any of the herbal tea flavor --Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea: just tasted the Hokkaido with a hint of Matcha (even with the extra shot I got). Paid $14 for both drinks and it was a total waste. I don't mind paying for it if it was good but it wasn't even worth it. They are SO CHEAP with their drinks. I ordered a large for both, one with light ice and the other no ice and they don't even fill it all the way up. My Heart of ocean still had a lot of ice (when I asked for light) and wasn't filled to to the top (look at all that space). I've lived in South Pasadena for over 10 years and this was my first time here at this place. I've always known about TeaMorrow, however, the location is hard to get in/out of. It's located right at the order of Mission and Meridian, right next to the Metro train tracks. That being said, this place is really easy to miss. I was a little confused as I couldn't find their actual storefront. I guess you had to walk through a main entry that's a storefront for three other stores, then make a quick right into the entry way of Teamorrow. I knew this place sold food as well as drinks, but when I walked in, I didn't really see a kitchen and didn't really see a menu for food. It was more just like a lounge for boba, which is a cool vibe. I ordered my drinks from there 'online' menu. About 20 minutes after placing my online order, upon my arrival, the place was really crowded! (must be a good place). I walked up to the 'pick up' section of the counter and asked if my order was ready. To the confusion of the worker, she couldn't find my order. She had to ask another worker who was actively making drinks. They asked how I placed my order (either via online or in store kiosk). After I told them it was online, the worker had to search through their computer system, locate and finally print out my order. After finding my order, it was then that I had to wait another 20 mins for them to make my drinks, only after other customers who arrived after me ordered their drinks from the in store kiosks and got their orders before mine. I'm not disappointed, I just think they need to do a better job of monitoring their online orders, so orders like mine don't get skipped or overlooked. I ordered the Thai Tea with boba and an Earl Grey milk tea (warm). Both were delicious and creamy. The drinks were good, but I don't know if I want to park a block or so away, then navigate my way through practically the most busiest intersection in South Pas, just for a drink. Super reasonably priced food and great service makes this a must go spot! I had the popcorn chicken and beef noodle soup and both were really great. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the beef noodle soup had a good amount of beef and noodles. The soup was a little sweet from onions, so next time I'll probably stick to the popcorn chicken and try one of their drinks! The service here was great. It was a pretty hot day and the staff made sure to get me a cup of ice water without me having to ask and assured me that to ask for as many refills as I wanted. The most disappointing way to waste $7.17. My spouse went in there for me, so I wasn't there for this interaction, but the workers refused our "check in" for a free upgrade, which is offered on Yelp. They said it doesn't apply to matcha. Well they should include that then on Yelp because it doesn't say that there are exclusions. So after they refused our upgrade and my spouse was clearly annoyed, I guess they went and added boba to my matcha that I didn't ask for. In fact my spouse was explicit about NOT wanting boba. But he added it anyway-- maybe to be nice? I don't know but it ruined my drink. I personally hate boba pearls and the chewiness of them. (Why not send it back? I wasn't there and it didn't make sense to return to the store. So I just tried to drink it anyway). Sadly, I couldn't enjoy the matcha at all because it's so hard to avoid sucking up 6 pearls every time you take a swig. Below average service and below average beverage. Our first and last time. Unpopular opinion but I this is one of my favorite boba shops in SGV. People don't talk about this place enough but it checks all the boxes of food, service, and ambiance! I love love LOVE this place for studying! But it can get a little loud, so this might not be the best place to go if you can't study in that environment. I wish it were closer to me and had better parking. Street parking around the area is 2 hours. Not sure if they have a private parking lot but from what I've seen they don't. Their food is surprisingly really delicious. Surprisingly, not because it doesn't look great in pictures, but because boba shops usually just have decent versions of food you can get at restaurants (which is usually more than enough!). But the food here IS restaurant quality. I loved the beef noodle soup and the popcorn chicken was super juicy. Love love supporting small business in our community. I have ordered food and boba from here in the last 2 months and it was been delicious! Boba drinks are not too sweet which I like. The spicy beef noodle soup is amazing! I always go to Sinbala in Arcadia but the soup here is pretty good. I order it 100% spicy and it is VERYYYY spicy (which I love). Overall we have loved it here. I was proud my 9 yo son ordered his own drink but I guess the person taking the order missed the part of making it a slushie. The guy at the register said he could remake it but that it would take a while. We waited and my son was really working on patience. During better times, I can imagine that having a sip of tea and some snacks would be lovely here. It's a very cute aesthetically pleasing cafe. I really liked the T(ea)-Rexes and their different costumes. I got the First Kiss. It's a rose green milk tea and it's a very cute pink (think Starbucks pink drink). One of my favorite boba shops. I've been coming here for a few years. Always a pleasure. I don't know why I haven't wrote a well deserved 5 star review. I've had a few of their drinks and their food. And it's always good. My personal favorite is the Thai tea. No sweet (it's already sweetened) and some boba sometimes. I can't remember the name of the dishes of food I've had here but they're really great. Their sweets/pastries too. But let me end this review by mentioning their service: I really like coming here because "Sean" and "Tiger" are some of the nicest people I've met. Always cheerful and happy. Everyone else that works here is the same. If your order takes a while, it's because they're busy. So be patient. *Visited during Covid-19* I was looking for a place to try out in Pasadena and saw that I had TeaMorrow as one of my bookmarks. Their Yelp page suggested to pre-order on their website, and that I did! I went for their zha jiang mian and their popcorn chicken. I found street parking on a Sunday during the quiet times but don't know how they are during regular times. They've blocked the entire entrance to their shop, so you gotta mention to them your name if you pre-ordered, or get their attention to order there. Their zha jiang mian is good. Yes, the noodles stuck together, but that issue is due to transportation haha. It has some spice and kick to it which is what I liked, but even better, their noodles are wide and thick, which means more area for getting sauce on them. Mixing with the minced meat along with the kick was something I enjoyed. They have a salad on the side which might help with some of the spicy flavor if your tongue is feeling it hahhahaha. I do wish they had a little bit more of the sauce though. Their popcorn chicken is also really good as well. It has more breading but there's still a significant amount of juicy chicken in the dish. My coworker also enjoyed this thoroughly haha. They also have such a pretty interior wall and a good natural light setup going on the storefront as well, but those aren't usable right now. A few bites in and I noticed the undercooked popcorn chicken. I should've read the reviews prior to ordering. I used to enjoy coming here but customer service hasn't been the same. I opted for this place since it was nearby. The price for the popcorn chicken is quite high for the amount they give you but given it's located in South Pasadena it must equate to their pricing.
