The cream puffs ($1.95) are excellent with a little custard on the bottom and lots of REAL WHIPPED CREAM on top. The fruit tarts are the best in town, too. Yesterday I went to the bakery and I bought some cake pops The employee told me it was $20 so I paid and left. I went back again at night to purchase the same thing and a different employee was trying to figure out how much was the price for the cake pops. I said I paid $20 for them in the morning and she said she wanted to make sure, then she tells me it's actually $25 and that the previous employee made a mistake. I said fine I'll pay $25, next thing I know she's telling me you have to pay a five dollar fee for not paying 25 in the morning. I thought she was joking at first but she actually charged me 5 extra for the cake pops I had gotten in the morning. If anything she should honor the price I was told earlier, but no she made me pay for their employees mistake. she was talking to the owner over the phone and she told me that the owner told her that she needed me to get the five dollars from morning (Miganoosh ).Very unprofessional service. read more

well, their mini eclairs that were so cute are not so mini anymore. They have grown in size. Went in and asked for about 25 pieces, came home and opened the box and saw that they were the big old size that the other bakeries in Glendale sold. We loved getting the mini eclairs from here because it was convenient and rather cute to have on the table. Now that the size has changed it really doesn't matter I guess where we purchase it anymore from. advice to the business: keep the same product as you had initially when you opened your business because that is what attracted your customer base, if you are going to change it up after you have your clients, well we will just go elsewhere. read more

My family and I come to teapot bakery for every occasion to pick up cake and pastries and we've always been satisfied. However we had a very unfortunate experience today. First of all, my daughter and I came in to order a birthday cake for my sister, and while we were browsing for cakes the worker told us one of the cakes we liked was strawberry shortcake flavor which is our favorite kind. The cake was absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with the design and we were even more excited that it was strawberry shortcake or so we thought. However when we took it home and cut it, to our disappointment, it was more like a strawberry flavored cream and there were no pieces of strawberry to be found. Second of all, as we were purchasing the cake, we asked the worker if she could write happy birthday on the cake to which she responded to by writing it on what might have been white chocolate but looked like a piece of paper. Moreover the hand writing was not professional and it looked like it was written with a marker. When we kindly asked the worker to switch from the square piece with the writing on it to a ribbon with cream she simply responded "no we don't do that". My daughter and I were very shocked because we've ordered multiple times where the workers have written happy birthday very neatly on the cake on a ribbon with cream so we asked a different worker and they both simply kept responding no with no explanation. we were forced to tell them to just take off the happy birthday all together because it looked bad. This left a mark on the cake and they didn't try to fix it. This is one of our favorite bakeries but it was strange for cake store to not be able to write happy birthday on the cake like they are supposed to considering the price of the cake was not cheap at all. Because we enjoy this bakery we really hope that this doesn't happen again. read more

Pleasantly surprised, tasty stuff. Tried a few items and 2 out of 3 didn't disappoint, in fact tried a bit of 3 and left the rest for the next day and they were even better. The chocolate goodies are all that, the flavored items are good and will be purchasing more. Lots to try there, very clean and orderly and impressed with the prices on the decorated cakes! The employees we worked with were pleasant and eager to please though one didn't know what a rum ball was and sold one as that and it surely was not but maybe with more experience? Their Napoleons are amazing if they have them available. They have run out the last 3 times I've been here. Please pass on the Paklava. They over pour the sugar syrup and the fillodough becomes dough like and loses its crunch. Classic paklava also shouldn't have rose water. Don't call it classic when it isn't. read more

This is probably the best bakery I have been to hand down! The waitress is such a sweetheart and the food is so so good. We had a cheese-filled puff pastry, a raspberry cheese danish, and a potato perashki, a mocha cappuccino and a regular coffee. Everything was so good. The perashki was seasoned well, the Danish was just the right amount of sweet and the coffee was such good quality. The location is clean, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. The cafe itself if beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and was excited to see all they had to offer. However I knew I was going to have a hard time, because when I smiled at one of the girls at the desk who was behind another girl helping someone, she gave me a snotty look. I had my service dog with me. And I mean a full service dog, not a fake one. She was at a heel and sitting next to me as I looked at what they had. When it was my turn to order every girl disappeared. There were 4 up there and they all went to the back. I literally wanted to get a snack and leave but for medical purposes I can't leave my dog in the car. So I was waiting there for about 2 minutes before 2 girls came out. The one who gave me the snotty look and another girl who said I can't have my dog in there. There was literally a couple who had their dog sitting in their laps eaten my when I walked in. I questioned them and they asked if I could pick her up. I said yes and demonstrated that I could but how annoying it was that I had to hold my service dog above the counter. They both acted stupid as if they couldn't read her vest so I showed them 'yes! Service!' Then they recounted and said I could put her down. Then the snotty girls asked me if I wanted anything as the other walked into the back. I lost my appetite and tried to talk myself into getting something and decided the best thing to do was leave. I was furious. I'm sure they were happy to see us go. I'm sure their food is amazing but my god those girls need some training or at least an older supervisor on how to speak with customers. And also how to tell the difference between a real working dog and one of the fake ones. And don't accept any dogs if your going to make a stink about service animals. read more

It's not often I have a positive review or experience which is why I wanted to take the time to write about my recent experience at TeaPot Bakery & Café. I had been looking for a plain white 6" cake with yellow macaroons for my aunt's birthday and no bakery within a 30mile radius of Glendale could accommodate. I randomly decided to take a chance and walked into TeaPot Bakery & Café which is less than a mile from my house. The place is decorated with great taste and inviting splashes of color. Upon walking in I was professionally greeted the girls that work there. The girls that work there are both sweet, well versed on their products and professional in their mannerism. Emma, was the girl who helped me with my order and she was super sweet and accommodating. She was able to bring my vision of a simple 6" white cake with yellow macaroons to life and on a 2day notice at that. The Cake looked great and was delicious! They were truly accommodating and professional. The day I picked up my cake I decided wanted extra Macaroon and they spray painted a few gold ones for me on the spot and were extremely sweet and accommodating. Additionally, I picked up a box of their mini individual cakes that not only looked adorable but were delish as well. I plan on getting my next cake from there in a couple of weeks. Today was my first time here and I'm super impressed. The place is super clean and cute with a huge selection of beautiful goodies. I mean they have 4-5 different kinds of napoleons alone. hello!!! The young lady that helped me was really sweet and professional AND she gave me a sample of a fresh, warm Nazook that is quiet possibly the yummiest, most buttery, flaky nazook I've ever tried. It was delicious, not too sweet and just melt in your mouth goodness. Can't wait until I need a few pounds of good nazook so I can go get my fill. I tried their potato, Nutella and custard pirashki...all were delicious. The ratio of dough to filling is perfect and not too doughy. They were crispy and satisfying. I also bought a custard napoleon and a cream puff that I can't wait to try. They look amazing and I imagine they taste even better. Their prices are very reasonable, they have a seating area inside and outside, they also serve coffee. Give this new bakery a try, you'll be glad you did.
