Located in the same strip mall as El Pollo Loco and Rio Cleaners, this large bakery offers plenty of parking and an impressive selection of gorgeous cakes and pastries. The sun faded exterior sign makes it easy to miss and drive passed it; therefore, look for the strip mall with El Pollo Loco in it. Clearly a neighborhood favorite: during my visit several customers came in to pick up cakes, tarts, and other sweets. Inside, you will find a vast selection of pastries, cookies, specialty candies and elegant desserts. The cakes and pasties are both delcious and beautifuly decorated, with popular favorites like tiramisu, carrot cake, and red velvet, as well as unique offerings I hadn't tried before, such as the Russian and Mikalov rollets; both of which were delightful. They also offer both whipped cream and custard filled cream puffs and I tried one of each; both were fresh and light. Its worth noting that this is more of a bakery than a cafe. Despite its name, it's not a sit down coffee and pastry shop, but rather a place to pick up your treats and go.

If you have a sweet tooth then this place is for you. Has a parking lot which it shares with other stores. Wide range of selection of bakery goods. Cakes are expensive but so worth it as they not only look gorgeous but taste just as amazing. The sweetness is right in the middle so perfect. Different slices of different flavors of goods so plenty options. Staff is just doing their job so even if they dont smile or mean business dont look too much into it. The bakery items are what matter and they are delicious

TeaPot never seems to disappoint. Honestly love this bakery. The Ashta Cake was amazing and extremely unique. Definitely one of my go-to spots whenever I need pastries for an occasion.

My first time at the bakery but I had their pastries many times before. My niece always brings us cookies and tarts from Teapot and I always liked the taste and the freshness of them. Today while in the area I decided to buy a tart so I stopped by yo check it out. The store smelled heavenly and I couldn't decide what to buy. So I ended up getting a blueberry tart which was delicious. My family enjoyed it with their afternoon tea on this beautiful summer day. The variety here is big , cookies, pies, tarts, baklavas, cakes and more. They also sell ice cream, packaged imported cookies and more. Customer service was ok, not the friendliest but not bad either. Overall a good place to buy pastries. I almost never buy from bakeries cause I myself am a baker, so this place didn't disappoint. If you need something in a hurry this is the place to go.

Moldy pastries, " Its not possible" I wasn't going to write a review out of curtsey, I gave the benefit of the doubt and called to give them feedback on their moldy pastry. However I was hit with "exceptional " customer service which accused me for their pastry's mold. I bought the pastry around closing time and when came home and opened it up some had mold on it. I called right away and left them a massage. No one called back. So I called the next day to let them know to check the product before selling it in the nicest way, but was told not possible and I kept the product for so long that it got mold. In return I'm posting this with time stamped pics for costumers and all to see. FYI I never wanted money back I was just letting them know the issue. This could have been avoided with some minimal level of customer service which they don't have.

My first week in my new home and a mid-week birthday was made joyous and sweet by the surprise delivery of a delicious birthday cake (strawberry shortcake) from TeaPot Bakery and Cafe. How the delivery driver managed to place the cake on my front porch without my even hearing him or making my dogs bark was a feat in itself. The cake was Heavenly! Beautifully presented, moist, fresh fruits and berries, delicious filling and icing. I couldn't have been happier! Can't wait to make this my go to bakery in my new neigborhood!

I bought three pastries from this shop at 8 AM, one of the pastries I took to work to share and saw around 8:20 AM that the Pistachio Ashta tray they have sold me is covered in mold. I called right away and ask if I can come in to get a refund or to exchange the pastry. The employees quickly told me that they can't do any refunds or exchange. And accused me for causing this mold onto the cake. How was I able to put mold on a cake!!!!!I went back to the shop and during my break to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to the owner. Instead of apologizing, I was accused again and could not refund me. I showed them the pastry and was in denial that how can the pastry be filled in mold. Thankfully I had all my receipts to show my proof. She would not refund me but only exchange the cake. I felt disrespected by this service. While going through their yelp reviews, I noticed that this is not the first time they had issues with mold. Please be aware! It is truly disgusting and potentially harmful. read more

Needed something sweet and the treats I got were so good! Luckily they deliver through postmates so I didn't even have to leave the house. The ECLAIRS were so good. Perfectly sweet and the perfect size. The TIRAMISU cake was so moist and had a good coffee kick! I can't remember which CREAM PUFF I got but it did not disappoint. I can't wait to try more of their stuff! The flavors were in point and they were all so pretty. If you need desserts for something, don't hesitate to stop here. I can't wait to go back. They called me in for training and said that the first day is unpaid since it's training after your training day you will start working they called and said that we have other workers coming in today to train and we will let you know They lied to me and used me for one day and they do that to everyone else that comes in for training. Always ask for receipt even though cashier doesn't offer one. I was charged double the price of a cake !! Not sure if that was done intentionally charging the price of a cake double the amount and not offering a receipt . I noticed going thru my transactions and when I called the manger made me drive all the way back to the shop to check and refund the amount and honestly wasn't even apologetic about the inconvenience they caused to customer . This will be my last time buying pastry from this place . read more

Really beautiful desserts! Ordered some desserts for family for good cheer. Appreciated that Doordash has photos of each dessert. Russian Roulette roll cake slice -- Mm soft chocolate cake and delicious cream. Pistachio Fantasia (very petite) - layers of white cake and pistachio mousse. Little bits of pistachio in the mousse. The pretty shell is actually white chocolate!! Creme Brulee (petite) - mom's favorite, it was so good I could not get a bite! - Hazelnut Cream Puff -- The custard in the middle was slightly frozen? But it did make it like ice cream. It was a favorite of two people! Things that were just ok: - Cheesecake - Coffee mini eclair - Walnut Roll pastry (cream is delicious, the napoleon-like pastry was eh) We enjoyed them all mostly! I am not a cake person. 9 times out of 10, I would not choose cake, I'd choose a brownie or cheesecake, or ice cream...but if it's a cake from Teapot, cake might be the answer. A friend from out of town heard I was sick so she sent me some cake from Teapot...and it was delicious and light and moist. The berries were fresh and tart sweet. When my fiance's bday rolled around I got him a red velvet and he loved it. The red velvet has a light and airy cream cheese frosting between layers of red yum. Highly recommend. read more

I just ordered a delivery and everything tastes pretty good. Eclair was great and it had a generous custard portion unlike some bakeries put a little dollop inside. Cappuccino cake tasted a little plain. I ordered Teapot Gatta and Gatta w/ puff pastry but the two gattas seem and taste identical and there is no label on the packaging so I wouldn't know if I got the right order. I would visit and try other goodies tho. read more

This place has become a joke. Looks like businesses nowadays are only all about making money. No customer service, the prices are insane. I've been going to them for 5 years and for the last year I've noticed things going down hill but it was until this moment I realized that I will not be stepping foot in here again. My husband went to get a cake for my girls graduation party and kindly asked them to write congratulations on the cake and this is what we got. He was so upset and the girl went and called the owner and the owner told the girl to tell my husband that they don't write on cakes anymore so she wrote with a sharpie on a cardboard and stuck in the cake I was sick to my stomach. But I did leave it on and I had about 45 guests and they all laughed and asked which bakery this was. What an embarrassment to this bakery but hey, we got a good laugh. read more

Great pastry shop, it is at corner of the west Glenoaks street. The ladies who helped costumers had pink aprons . My server was attentive,She was really welcoming ,however she was tired. I got few mini pastries , the eclairs and puffs were stuffed with tasty cream inside. The mini tarts were washed off with sugar syrup and seems all of them made the same day I bought them. Terrible service over all. They have nice election but employees could care less about a customer or their needs. Asked a simple little sign that's said @Happy Birthday" first they declined to help only after few minutes someone just dropped a piece of foam that she wrote happy birthday on. When asked for them to redo and write the name of the person I was verbally attached by a woman with heavy accent and even bigger attitude. She said I should have place an order for a cake if I wanted to have happy birthday on it. There is a dime dozen bakeries in the area your employees should try to keep your clients if not attract new ones. read more

I stopped by here on a whim since it's so close to where I live and I needed to grab some desserts. It wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon and I only had one person ahead of me in line. There were 2 young ladies working the counter that day and I honestly have no complaints. They assisted both myself and the other person quickly and their service seemed fine. I only came to get a dozen bonbons and they tasted great. My visit was a quick grab and go though so I can't comment on anything else. read more

Gosh, my family and I have been buying from this bakery for the longest time, and I'm so happy to have seen no change in the quality of the goods!! Not only is the customer service the sweetest, but they also make sure to get your orders on point. I asked for the most complex looking cake for my big birthday, not only did they make my dream cake design come true but they also made sure that the pastries served the aesthetic I was going for!!! My wife ordered a cake for our baby shower. The cake was lopsided, too heavy for its size and did not have enough support. The moment the car took off - slowly, we knew what we were carrying and how important it was given that we were 8.5 months pregnant - the top layer started sliding off of the bottom layer. Not only did the manager blame everything on my pregnant wife, bringing her almost to tears, they refused to acknowledge any fault of their own or apologize. NEVER ordering cake from this bakery again. Ordered a baby shower cake from a design I loved on the web. First off, they would not make the cookies in the shape of letters telling me they can't make them. Are you not a bakery? You can't make sugar cookies? I'm sorry if making sugar cookies with icing design is too difficult of a task for this establishment. Second, the cake did not have enough support in it to be transportable without paying for delivery. The top layer which only had 2 support sticks in it was clearly too heavy to be structurally supportable, so the moment the car started moving, the top layer slid down off the bottom layer and collapsed. For comparison, the bottom layer had 6 or 8 short sticks to support it which did not extend the length of the entire cake top-to-bottom (i.e., did not extend into the top layer). Best advice - find another bakery. Glendale has a great many wonderful bakeries that understand the mechanics of making multi-tier cakes. This one clearly knows only how to make single-layer cakes, and if something goes wrong will always blame you. read more

One of my favorite bakery stores! Very clean, huge pastry selection, good prices. I've been here twice and will be sure to come back again! I got eclairs both times: chocolate, caramel and my favorite - cappuccino ones!! Mini eclairs are 0.95$ each. Cashier ladies are very helpful and nice! They have a few tables inside, where you can eat your goodies :) read more

Had the Ideal cake for my birthday and they suggested something about tres leches. This cake is stiff, dry, and not good at all for me. I had one bite and threw it away. Our guests didn't like it either as nobody had more than 2-3 bites. Next time I will go to Porto's and get a real Tres Leches cake! read more

For being so early in the morning, I was surprised that the trash hadn't been emptied or the area cleaned before opening. The salted cold brew cloud was decent, but overall the drinks, food, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hoping this was just an off morning, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back.

I just saw a false review towards this Armenian owned amazing bakery and I want to address it. Armenian's are the most welcoming and the most hospitable people to any and every other culture, race, religion etc. Every time I walk into this bakery the place smells fresh, it's clean, the workers are very nice and I have seen them help each and every customer with respect and kindness despite the language barrier. As I know the owners myself, they prioritize the quality of the pastries & cakes [such as using the healthiest butter & the most delicious creams which they always recommend without food coloring] and the satisfaction of each costumer. Every birthday cake has been from TeaPot Bakery & so will my wedding cake!
