Any time I come back to Indianapolis for a visit, this place is a MUST stop for me. It is like an annual trek in this great city. Today, I was greeted at the counter by Mya. She was such a friendly and polite young lady. She told me she was new here, yet I could see her personality fits perfectly at this location! Tamika and her staff do such a great job finding quality employees. I love coming back just to see who the new employees might be. Based on my last visit, I had to reorder the Japanese Cherry green tea and the Chicken Pesto sandwich. The combination is perfect for lunch; flavorful and light. The sandwich is a combination of nice chucks of white meat mixed with a delicious pesto spread on a flaky croissant. Once again, I was extremely satisfied with this combination. While waiting to order, I kept admiring the cakes on display. My choices were between the Carrot Cake and the Blueberry Coffee Cake. Thinking about breakfast for tomorrow, I ordered the Blueberry Coffee Cake. I got it "to go" to enjoy with my coffee in the morning. Based on my experiences with previous desserts here, I look forward to having a similar "Tea's Me" experience at home. Check this place out if you are ever in the Fall Creek area. So cute!! I've heard of Tea's Me as being *the* tea place, and I'm glad I made it! You have the choice of so many flavors between green, black, oolong and herbal teas. You can also get any tea hot or iced, and with sweeteners if you'd like. Gojiberry green tea rocks! You get a rather large beverage for the price which is awesome! I think it was around $6 after tax and tip and it's a decent 20 oz cup. The staff was friendly there and it's mostly table seating but there is a couch there too. read more

Such a unique tea cafe! They have the tea options sorted by type(green, black, etc). If you plan on hanging out for a bit I would say to get your moneys worth and order a pot of tea for the table/self. You can pick what sweetener and level of sweetness. Wanted to introduce coworkers to this amazing place so placed an order on the website. Website was super easy to use, and all their great options were represented and available!! Accidentally came here thinking I was going to a Yelp event here. But since I'm here I ordered a sandwich. The young man taking my order was super nice but soft spoken. I couldn't hardly hear him. But he was kind. I eventually had him talking when I inquired about the teas. The space is nice and cozy. There were a few people in there but not many. Parking was easy ; right in front; which I always appreciate. I ordered the David. It's a grilled cheese with pesto. The menu is not super descriptive so I am not sure what cheese is on it so I was surprised there were several. It came with pesto. Tomato would be a good addition to this. Still five stars three years later but I figured it was time to update my review after an exceptional visit this past week. I had myself a large pot of orange walnut tea accompanied by an egg, cheese and bacon wrap (spinach tortilla, egg whites with added spinach inside). Ya'll, that wrap HIT THE SPOT. Simple in theory but so perfectly prepared. This tea variety is also my go-to every time I'm here. I bet it's great cold as well but I'm a sucker for the large glass pot over a tea light candle. If you're a fan of jasmine tea, I highly suggest giving this one a try. I love how engaged Teas Me is in the community and it's been great to watch 22nd street evolve over these last few years. My green tea tasted great (medium agave for the win) and the bacon egg and cheese on the crossiant was chefs kiss. The inside was on the smaller side but enough room to grab drinks with friends. This has grown to be a cool place for me to stop as leave work. Unfortunately not all the sites are equal. I have been to this location one other time and had not great experience here compared to Tarkington locale but wanted to give another chance and was actually worse than first time. The gal working did not know what was avail on the menu nor did she know what came with a sandwich. She asked someone else working and they really didn't seem all that interested in taking my order. I felt like I was bothering them by walking in. I had a sinking feeling they would not get my iced tea order correct so I decided to just leave without placing any order. By far prefer the Tarkington location. There was a group of gals who had ordered drinks and seemed to be confusion with their order also. Always try to support the underdog and small business but not tolerant of poor service. Hope some improvements are made because this is in great location and has great space to meet up, have off site meetings or even work remotely. read more

I held a work meeting here with my colleague and it was amazing. I ordered a pot of the ginger peach tea and they ordered an iced tea. The shop is small, but still comfortable enough to relax and chat. There is an outdoor patio that would be great to sit in too. The price was great for the amount of tea I got. Our cashier/server was very nice. I did ask if they had Splenda or another sugar substitute but they didn't. Found some packets in my purse so that was fine. This is Tamika Cummings names sake, and I love the idea nothing big and over the top, just tea and a sandwich. I had a tomato sandwich with spinach cheddar on wheat toast with pesto. It could've used a little more pesto. I thought it was delicious and I had two of the Moroccan mint, which is one of my favorites, but I'd really should have tried some of their other teas. They have a pretty extensive tea list. The people that were serving and working were friendly and approachable down to earth. And will always return for the hospitality. The bathroom was clean and that matters to me. Even though the building is old the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best, but I could see where they're trying to build the neighborhood up and wish all the vendors in the area the best success. Tea's Me Cafe is a locally black owned business brought to our community from WNBA Champion and Hall-of Famer Tamika Catchings, #24 of the Indiana Fever. This is a small cafe space, right off 22nd and College Ave, and has plenty of parking in the rear of the building, I believe it's 2 hr parking. This would be my 4th time visiting over the last few years and the staff was very friendly again. I'm a Tamika Catchings fan. I grew up playing basketball for about 14 years, I was on a two time state IHSAA championship team back in my glory days Go NC! Go Panthers! (slight flex and brag ), and before that I spent a lot of time hooping at Riverside, Watkins, pretty much every local gym, blacktop, park, you name it. I lived the #BallisLife LIFE! I have fond memories of attending Tamika's Catching's youth basketball camps as a camper and I had the opportunity to meet her back in my elementary and middle school days! I also was a season ticket regular at Indiana Fever games when she was a player and had the privilege of seeing her take the WNBA championship home to Indiana. T. Catch, was and still is, my basketball idol, right along with Cynthia Cooper, so when I heard about her cafe, Tea's Me Cafe, I had to visit. This morning I spent a morning breakfast and tea dining in with a good friend of mine. Debbie and I arrived to a quiet and inviting space around 10:00 AM and we both ordered tea and breakfast items to sit and chat. I ordered the Japanese Cherry Green Tea and the Egg Sandwich with Bacon and Cheddar. The tea I think is a 16 oz cup and they brought that out with the sandwich on a dining plate. I would consider myself an avid tea drinker. I love tea. I drink hot tea every morning in my YETI. It's basically a requirement for my morning rituals. If I don't have my tea then stay away from me. I will probably be a tad grumpy. The Japanese Cherry Green Tea was enhanced with honey and sugar by request and they add the perfect amount where the sweetness is just right, and the honey is not too thick. Tea is hot, but not burn your tongue hot. You are able to enjoy your cup of tea right away. They offer caffeinated teas, and decaf, and I believe there is the option to order coffee, but I always skip over that. I hate coffee. My sandwich was underwhelming. It had cheddar, bacon and egg on a whole wheat toast. You do get a full sandwich but it lacked any exciting flavor. Cheese wasn't melted enough, and the bacon was sparse. It almost seemed like there was no bacon on my sandwich and I love bacon so that made me a little disappointed. So a bit of advice. Try a different sammie and be sure to try hot tea. I have ordered the tea pot in the past but not this morning. The tea pot is a real tea experience with tea cups and spoons. Today's meal was a grab and go type but we didn't go we sat and chatted a good hour and a half. While dining, we were greeted by a local leader who was rocking this gorgeous tiara and sash. She was a beautiful black woman and so I had to snap a pic. She was serving and chatting with the guests in the cafe, and Debbie and I enjoyed talking with her briefly. Take some tea home, you can by loose leaf tea by the box. Also there are T-shirts, books, and other cute items to purchase and support this awesome local gem! Be sure to tip too. These employees love what they do and it shows! Very quaint little shop. I ordered an unsweetened Raspberry Champaign White Tea, and it was deliciously refreshing. I think their should be a larger signage presence on the front of the building, but especially closer to the road. I drove right past it initially, but I enjoyed my visit. There were 3 vendors out front, which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you to Jennifer Ball for my lovely new pens, and I can't wait to see the cup I ordered. Loved watching the kids play on the playground next door...very chic designs. Parking was good. There are several spots right in front of the shop, which makes it super convenient to run in and grab a drink and a sandwich. Inside us much larger than expected, and there was ample seating. I wasn't sure what kind of tea to order because they have so many different kinds and they all sounded really good, so the person behind the counter walked me through it. I ended up getting a chai without cream or sugar, and it was good and strong. I also got a cranberry scone to eat with my tea, because tea and scones go together like ... well, like something that goes really well together. The inside of Tea's Me Cafe is nice and cozy. When I was there, there was one person writing, and a mother and son doing a project, and it all felt very homey and welcoming. My only gripe is that they serve the tea in plastic (or possibly melamine) tumblers, which isn't my favorite. They are nice because they're clear and you can see your beverage, but I prefer the feel of a regular tea cup or coffee cup. read more

I've had Tea's Me bookmarked for some months now, so when we were running out of ideas for lunch and were only 5 mins away, we hurried over! This is such a cute shop, w/friendly staff, unique art on the walls and lots of natural sun light shining in, it gives a very welcoming vibe and you can't help but feel at home! But baybee, for the price we paid - we thought the actual service and food would be a bit better. We ordered 1 Smart BLT - full size sandwich w/ Chicken Tortilla soup - apparently the spinach they added to my meal is $2.50, I didn't even know it came with it - if I had, I would have easily opted out so the total was $10.79. 1 Grilled Cheese w/soup - he gets spinach as well and they DONT CHARGE HIM? What's even crazier, he gets half a grilled cheese and the basil soup which equals $8.29, which is the "same" price as my full sandwich and soup - how? I ended up being given the wrong soup and the soups were not even hot. They fix that but we also ordered teas, which we got halfway through our meals - hot tea blend of sweet lemon green and Moroccan mint and a black tea both $4.25 each. Don't get me wrong, the teas were alright but our total was $30!! I read this place was opened for the community, to help provide opportunities - only reason they get 3 stars. I used to work nearby a few years ago, and this was my favorite lunch spot, so when I found myself in the neighborhood for lunch again, I was ecstatic to grab the best chicken salad sandwich in the city. I was absolutely shocked that there wasn't a single other customer when I went in. It used to be hard to find a seat. Outdoor seating wasn't set up, even though it's a perfect day for it. Staff was polite and friendly as always. I ordered my go to chicken salad sandwich with spinach salad and fruit. The sandwich was delicious as always with the croissant toasted perfectly. The spinach salad was only spinach and vinegarette, which was ok. They used to have a bunch of different fruit vinegarettes you could choose. The fruit is where they really lost me. I was looking forward to some fresh fruit. After all, that's what it says on the menu, and that's what I've always gotten before. Today, though? A fruit cup. Like the plastic ones covered in film sitting in corn syrup that you find in an elementary kid's lunch box. On the menu the fruit cup is $3+. They didn't even open it for me. That's when I noticed that everything was disposable and there are no more real dishes, either. Plus it was empty? I think this place is in trouble, which sucks because the tea and sandwiches are REALLY good. read more

This is one my favorite places in Indy! The staff is really hospitable and make you feel like family. The crowd this place attracts is so fun, I always make a new friend when I'm there. The people there come up with the most delicious tea concoctions and have so much knowledge. I love that you can customize your tea with sweeteners, and additions of dairy or lemonade. My sister and I had a delightful time on November 29, 2024 sipping tea and dining at the Tea's Me Cafe (teasmeindy.com) which is owned by Indiana Fever basketball legend Tamika Catchings. We felt like we received an early Christmas present since Tamika was conducting business at the cafe that day and we had the chance to meet her. Tamika was amazing and exceedingly gracious as we peppered her with questions about the menu as well as her phenomenal basketball career (Four-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Four-time Collegiate All-American, WNBA Rookie of the Year 2002, WNBA Defensive Player of the Year award five times, WNBA MVP 2011, WNBA Finals MVP 2012, and Women's Basketball Hall of Fame). She provided helpful suggestions about the tea and food selections as we told her about our amusing experience trying out for our 8th grade basketball team. The Tea's Me Cafe menu had an excellent selection of sandwiches and teas. We chose a berry blend tea which had the best flavor imaginable. We also had the chicken salad and chicken pesto sandwiches which were delicious and savory. The cafe had art paintings on the wall which gave it an avant-garde vibe, yet also made you feel at home. The employees were a mother and daughter team, Julie and Tahauni, who were outstanding and greatly contributed to the cafe's overall sense of friendliness, family, and community. We highly recommend this lovely cafe to everyone, whether you are a basketball fan like us, and meeting Tamika Catchings is part of your Indianapolis bucket list, or you're just wanting an excellent sandwich to go along with a tasty tea. I learned about this location from social media which is how I hear about most things it's been on my list for a while for a place to try I looked it up on yelp and since they said they're not opening fully until August 4 I decided to have a delivered to campus I'm sure glad I did I had a tasty BLT sandwich all the ingredients were fresh and the bacon was crunchy but not burnt which is key for me it's a texture thing don't come for me the mayo came in a separate container which was nice because I feel like it made my sandwich fresher I eat the whole thing in one sitting and enjoyed every bite I also got a salad that was fresh and just good/fresh/tasty and it had a vinaigrette dressing that I wanted to take like a shot but decided to put it on my salad like an adult I'm also a big fan of tea and got the raspberry tea which was tasty and flavorful but not overpowering and perfect for the gloomy day I can't wait to try more because if it's anything like the lunch I had it will be delicious read more

I tend to opt for the Larson Sandwich (chicken, bacon, and pesto!) with a cup of soup with an iced earl grey tea. So delicious. The staff is savvy about their tea and have great recommendations. Tea's Me - the perfect neighborhood meeting place. The shop feels like you're in your own living room, yet there's amazing food and drinks being served all around you. The employees are friendly, everyone seems to know each other, and we even made several friends during our visit, just because everyone there seemed to care about each other. Now on to the teas: The tea list is EXTENSIVE and so unique. They even have a mimosa-flavored tea. How fun?! You can get your teas iced or warm, and if iced, can make it an Arnold Palmer by adding lemonade to it. The menu rocks, because they have tops teas labeled, so you can opt for a best-seller if you don't know which direction to go. We tried the Almond Orange and Honeybush Vanilla. The Almond Orange was my favorite and I'd definitely come back for it. They also passed around samples throughout the day and that was delicious too - an iced peach tea Arnold Palmer. Now the food: Yummy paninis and soups and salads galore. You can't really go wrong. The best thing you can do is a half and half so you can try both. We walked in, and was able to find a table to sit.. we looked at the menu and was amazed at how much they offered. They had a vegan menu, bunch of teas to try, and other small plates to try. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I asked them about the champagne raspberry tea and I could get it either cold or hot. I ended up getting it hot and it taste great.
