With around 40 teas to choose from, Tea's Me has a flavor for anytime of day or year. Ginger peach over ice is one of my summer favorites. In the wintertime, I love to warm up with cinnamon orange spice. Every cup I've had was perfectly brewed, never bitter or oversteeped. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and they create a warm and welcoming environment that's great to catch up with friends or enjoy a bite of lunch. And I always save room for a sweet treat. I feel very welcomed & love the fact that who I assume is the owner, is there a lot of the time & appears to be very hands on with her business. This is a comfortable tea shop with a variety of teas from white, oolong, green, black and herbal. You order at the counter, given a number and your order is delivered to your table. It wasn't long before my tea arrived at my table and the lemon scone was seconds behind. The menu has a nice variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, vegetarian options to desserts. The seating area has 3 large sofas, one in front of the fireplace, and several round and square tables. While I was here several business meetings were underway along with those having lunch. Most seemed to be staying for awhile so tables didn't turn quickly. I ordered a hot caramel almond tea with cream and a lemon scone. The scone was a pie slice size instead of the small round scone. The scone was on the dry side and didn't have much of a lemon flavor. I wouldn't order again since I prefer a softer texture scone. The caramel almond tea was very good and served hot with a small serving of cream as I requested. The atmosphere is laid back and conducive to getting work done. Lots of natural lighting from the large windows so you don't feel closterphobic. If your a tea drinker or looking for a lunch spot, stop in. The place is very nice and quaint. When I walked in I noticed how quiet is was with mellow music playing in the background. Very well decorated. The food was not what I expected, it was even better. I ordered the vegan BLT and when the cook brought it out the sandwich was bigger than I expected. The fruit bowl I ordered was great, it came with cut up strawberries, grapes, and blueberries...yummy. And my order came with a side salad with vinaigrette. I was very much pleased with the food. O my. What a cute and cozy little spot. A friend recommended this place and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to check it out. I wish my work schedule would permit me to go more often because I absolutely love this place. Because of them I listen to jazz music.org every day and it's awesome. It's an amazing variety of jazz music that you can listen to for free streaming online. It really creates an awesome mood in the place, it really relaxes you and makes you feel welcome. There tea selection is pretty cool. It puts you in the mind of Teavana where you can select loose tea according to what you like and they prepare the tea for you hot or cold. You can get really creative, although they do offer a pretty cool selection of different combinations. My favorite combination so far was the tropical cyclone. It was refreshing, sweet and simply amazing. I've only had it hot but you can get it cold if you like. Now let's talk about the ginger snap cookies. First of all growing up everyone would eat the ginger snaps around Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was never a fan of gingersnap; I thought they were gross. And I've never had a ginger cookie that I liked-until now!! O my!!! It's so good. It wasn't hard like the ones they used to pull out around the holidays...no, no...these are soft, little delectables that just melt in your mouth (ooooo I want one right now) and it was the perfect little companion to my tea. Yes. I really enjoyed myself. Apparently they've been in business for about eight years however the current owner, I believe her name is Tamika, has been there for about nine months. One of the young ladies was telling us about all of the different events that were taking place there. They had a forum to talk about some of the issues in the community, which I think is great. I think it's wonderful that they offer their space to discuss matters of the community. It shows that she cares. They have karaoke during the week for the family. I think that's cool because a lot of karaoke places karaoke is adults only and this gives the family and opportunity to come out have a good time. So there's lots of things to do here at teas' me café, I just love it. So I wish Tamika well and hope she stays around for a while. read more

Love this place! I'm a tea drinker and once I discovered loose leaf tea my love grew. Tea's Me Cafe is the perfect spot to come and enjoy tea hot and cold, and you can pair your teas with some great food and dessert. What hooked me was the first time a steeper was brought to my table and they showed me how to use it!! It was a great experience. Aside from tea and food the staff are amazing! It's like A home away from home. If you go I'd suggest the chicken salad on croissant, I always get my meat and bread separate personal choice. I pair that with the Kenya which is a black tea and get it cold with heavy sugar. You can get yours the way you want though. If you're ever in town stop by, you wont be disappointed. read more

Teas Me is one of my favorite locally owned cafes. The music is great, the people are THE BEST (seriously, they have the kindest customers) and the food is delicious! I always order their pineapple mimosa tea and a sandwich. My go to is The David this sandwich has tons of cheese and a hearty serving of pesto. I add bacon because why not and washed it all down with their pineapple mimosa tea, extra sweet. And if your stomach can handle it, their potato salad is so creamy and seasoned to perfection. My mouth is watering just writing this. It's THAT good. Tables fill up super fast, so the earlier you can get there, the better. There are plenty of outlets and table space to spread out. Plus, spend a day here and you might even make a friend or two. I sure have! Their clientle and staff are truly top notch. This is the perfect neighborhood tea spot. They have a fireplace to cozy up by, several comfy couches with tables to work on, cable news is always on for the older folks (with closed captions, so you don't have to listen), the local jazz station softly playing in the background, AND outdoor seating in the warmer months. Have I set the scene? Great, because I haven't even gotten started on the tea, food and service yet. The teas (of which there are dozens) are fantastic and you have options to tailor it to your brew and sweetness. I try something new every time, but my current favorite is the Black Vanilla. They also have several sandwich, salad and soup options for a take-out or sit-a-while lunch. The service is amazing, Wayne (the owner) and his family and staff are so friendly, and really make an effort to get to know their customers. The only drawback to this place is the limited hours (Tues-Sat, late morning to early afternoon), but Wayne tells me they are working on extending them soon! read more

A great lil Tea House close to downtown Indy. I've been before, but decided to come this time for lunch, not knowing what the menu provides in way of plant based options. I was plesantly surprised that there were good set of options. I went with the half sandwich, half sandwich combo and a tea suggested by the cashier. The Tomato Treat Sandwich and Chickpea Curry Soup were a great combination for lunch. The bread alone on the Tomato Treat Sandwich was perfect!! The flavor, awesome! The small cup of Chick Pea Curry was a great side, and a small salad. The Tropical Cyclone Tea was a great suggestion by the cashier as well. Love the fact this little cafe is black owned! Loved the photography and the space. Very cozy. They have an outdoor section aswell. Customer service was amazing. The sandwich was really good. Like really good. The only downside for me was I got this to go. The bag was stapled so I didnt bother checking. It Did not have any utensils nor napkins. Fyi, I ordered soup.. And to top it off, the spinach was legit frozen together. Like they just took it out the fridge and handed it to me. Might want to check your temps. Other then that, Ill def recommend. I love tea! I had no idea that their was this hidden gem, tea shop in Indy! It's next door to Shoefly and that's how I came across it. The inside of the shop is so cute and is well lit! It is the perfect place for working off your laptop or just enjoying a nice sunny day. They even have a patio on the side of the building that guests can use. I had never been to a tea shop before but I was so impressed! They had a wide variety of teas available. They put the tea in a cute little personal teapot. They also have sandwiches, which are also excellent. I recommend the pesto chicken sandwich! This is also Tamika Catchings shop and I had the pleasure in meeting her the day I stopped by! Love this cafe! I understand that having coffee at a tea place is like having a burger on the pier in San Francisco (which I might have also done), but French press coffee?? You spoil me! Everything was stellar. The vibe in there is such an amazing one. It didn't feel like your average coffee/tea shop where everyone has their head down and nobody talks. It felt more like I walked into some kind of utopia for tea drinkers (I'm coming back to try your tea!). I ordered a sandwich and soup. I bought a tea while waiting. I noticed they served one person that ordered after me. They brought out what looked like the same thing I ordered and served it to another patron, who at it and then left. They pointed at me and talked amongst themselves a couple times. After about about 45 mins I went to the line and inquired about my food. I mentioned it looked like maybe they served the same food I ordered to someone else. They said that they would make it now and it would only take a couple of mins. I waited longer and observed employees working on things other than my order. I went back to the desk and asked for a refund. The employees mumbled under their breath and to each other. They handed me a free sandwich coupon with a post-it note and said they could not issue a refund without a manager. I said I probably wouldn't return after this experience. I received nothing even close to an apology at all. I found the whole experience quite infuriating the service was terrible. Now I am out $12, late to my event, and ate fast food instead. read more

My first time back at Tea's Me since Covid measures and I am so happy to see the cafe hasn't lost a bit of its charm! The vibe is immediately warm and welcoming plus it feels safe. Great options for herbal teas to fit any mood. If you're undecided on a flavor, the staff will happily give you a description and a waft from the open container. I tried something new and went with a Sparkling Wine herbal tea over ice and it was so so good! Love that the flavor totally matches the awesome fragrance of the tea. It takes several minutes to prepare which I greatly appreciate. Having a brewed iced tea requires a little more stepping to keep the flavor so I was happy to wait. The people behind me ordered food and it smelled yummy so -Note to self -That will be on my list for my next visit. Tea's Me has a subscription service to get tea sent right to my home. Let me start out by saying that Indy needs more tea rooms. As a non-coffee drinker it's hard to find tea variety at the average coffee shop. Tea's Me is really filling a great void and they do it with such pleasantry. I've had a few visits over the years, my most recent is this very moment as I write up my Yelp review using their free wifi. Each time I am greeted warmly and instantly feel my day turning around because the staff here is all smiles. I really enjoy the outdoor patio on a nice day. The six outdoor tables are shaded with a fabric sail so I can skip the sunscreen. I've never been here with company and honestly I enjoy it this way. It's a quiet spot to sip tea and check emails. I could see a group of 'ladies that lunch' stopping here as they begin a day of shopping on Mass Ave or a pack cyclists on their way to the Monon regrouping with a cold beverage. The food menu lists sandwiches and soups. My favorite is the chicken salad on a croissant. The chicken mixture is on the sweeter side, which I love. Today I ordered this with a turkey and rice soup. Sadly today there was no rice to be found, but I didn't complain as there was a decent helping of chicken and celery. A small side salad of spinach and a balsamic vinaigrette rounded out my lunch plate. I really like the little details this place offers. Such as offering my iced almond tea in an insulated tumbler. As a slow sipper this is appreciated. Watered down tea isn't my thing. The only reason this isn't a five start review is because I feel the portion size of the food offerings could be a tad larger for the price. read more

Love, love, love this place! It's the perfect study area if you don't mind the chapter of noise. With quality teas and complimenting foods this is definitely an amazing place to come sit and chill! They offer samples of tea and kindly walk around and offer you to try them out and honestly that's the type of service I love. They offer each tea flavor in a cold and hot option and you can get a cute little set up for the hot teas and a nice large pitcher for the cold teas(dine in only). After this first visit I know I'll be back! I ended up getting a lot of work done and the food and tea was definitely a great incentive. Free WiFi as well! They don't have that many outlets but they have a little area with an extension cord if you desperately need a charge. I absolutely LOVE TeasMe. They are located near the center of town with great parking and great curb appeal. They also have ample parking in the back. Inside of TeasMe is AMAZING. It feels like a secret hide out where I can go to be alone and gain peace. The art is wonderful and the music is amazing. Sometimes I forget that I am in Indianapolis when I am there and imagine I am in New York, Paris or somewhere else foreign. I love to go read solo or go with friends and socialize. It is becoming a Saturday morning tradition for me. Their tea selection is awesome. They have the menus/menu board divided up by tea type and flavors so that you know exactly what you are ordering. Their Pineapple Mimosa tea is to die for. They also have assorted cakes, pastries, fresh fruit, and food options. My cousin had the carrot cake and was in love with it. This is such a special place. I have never been to any cafe like this my whole life. The interior is nothing fancy. It feels more like someone else's living room. The selection of tea is okay. I guess I am pickier since I am Chinese and moving from the west coast. But what really makes this place different is the people. The people here are not coming to a cafe to do their work on the laptops but they bring their friends their families to hang out. It is not too loud to be distracting if you want to work but you feel the warm vibe while you are here. All the staff come to say hi and check on me. What a little gem of a place. As a hot tea fan, I was delighted to discover this Cafe randomly on Yelp when my friend and I were looking for a cafe. Not only did we enjoy the deep-dive into the wide selection of teas, but we Lucked Out as the First Friday of every month at TMCI is Open Mic night when they are open till 9pm versus the usual 5:30pm. We enjoyed Christmas carols, spoken word, and some musical performances as we sipped on their perfectly brewed tea. I was looking for something mellow, so I enjoyed their 'Evening in Missoula' Herbal tea, a chamomile tea mixed fruity and mint notes. Check them out y'all. read more

These were both green teas, and they were really good! I definitely felt the caffeine kick from it, which was much needed! Next time I go, I will definitely order something off of their food menu.
