Is this new boba chain from the Bay Area here to save Burbank's boba scene? This weekend, All drinks are buy one, get one free, which averages out to just $3 a cup! Of course, I had to check it out right away. Grasshopper This one comes highly recommended online. It's a mix of lychee green tea with cucumber juice, and the flavor is super refreshing. I ordered it with 25% sugar, but it was still pretty sweet for me. Guava Sunset Guava, pineapple, and lemon juice--sounds like the perfect combo for summer! Even though I got it half-sweet, it was still too sugary for my taste. Taro Lover As a taro lover, I had to try this one. It has real taro chunks, which is a nice touch, but the drink itself felt a bit thin or watery. It seems like something is missing. If they have another bogo deal in the future, I might come back. read more

The two girls working were both so sweet!! They helped us decide on what to get. I got the Thai tea with boba and it was really good. I wish I could have gotten it unsweetened but it's pre sweetened. It was still really good tho!! We also got a milk tea which we got unsweetened and that was also really good!! They had some very fun options will be back to try more!! read more

We come here all the time. Their Black Sugar Assam Tea is so goood. Always hits the spot. Never too sweet. Always just right. And you can literally taste the flavor of the tea without it being overpowering. Also tried their thai tea once and double matcha once. Both good but ny fave is the Assam Tea. Service is always soo amazing and friendly. Literally my fave boba spot at the moment. I drive 25-30 mins for this. read more

I am so glad they opened! They are located on the 3rd floor of the burbank town center. The area was clean and organized. Ordered 2 tea travelers; 1 milk tea and 1 thai tea with a few orders of honey boba and crystal boba for pick up the day after thanksgiving for a birthday party. I set up a boba station and it was a hit! Everyone was fighting over what ever was leftover! The staff were super nice as well as the owners. They are all very accommodating and even helped me carry everything to my car. Thank you again so much! read more

This was my first time here and I am not familiar with coffee shops such as this one. However, they were super helpful and patient when it came to choosing an item. The woman who helped me explained everything and I ended up choosing the crème brûlee coffee! I love how they offer sweetness options as well as I got mine 50% sweet. This place is located on the third floor of the Burbank Mall where the food court used to be. They have about four tables you can sit at, or you can go enjoy your drink on the outside patio. This place is a great alternative to other boba places and I really like that they have different boba options other than the regular honey boba that is standard. I ordered the Lychee boba at 75% sweetness and I added honey boba to it even though it also came with Lychee jelly. The drink tasted like a basic iced tea drink, I wouldn't necessarily get it again. My daughter got the mango drink with chamoy and tajin and she immediately hated the chamoy because it was a lot. She said she would get that drink again except only with tajin. My daughter's friend got a mango milk kind of drink and she loved it. I also got all of us one macaroon each. I wasn't a fan of the macaroon that I got. The girl that helped us was really nice and was happy to explain things when I had questions. I would definitely come back to try another drink. read more

I recently visited ' Teaspoon ' in the Burbank mall, and I have to say it was best boba I had in a while. Their menu was very flexible with flavors. The boba pearls were chewy and when they touched my tongue, it bursted with flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming. As English being my second language, I didn't have a problem speaking. The vibe of the place was chill and decorative. It automatically sets you to a good mood. Overall, Teaspoon is a 10/10 for beginners or boba enthusiasts like me. read more

We had Teaspoon in Burbank for the 4th time, we were addicted to some "sesame" drink I believe but it was not on the menu this weekend so I guess it was seasonal? Amazing drink but yesterday had the asaam boba drink it was almost flavorless like a hint of taste not sure if we had a bad batch but it was disappointing. Also had the Da Vien inspired ube Vietnamese milk tea. It was very "mid" and got charged for boba (pudding expected charge), thing was over $10, that's a lot for boba. I don't know if we'll return, maybe the asaam boba milk thing was a bad batch but $10 viet coffee is obnoxious. read more

I went in to get boba during a rush and there were only 2 people working and it looked veryyyy understaffed and I saw the manager (an older lady) come out and proceed to scold one of the workers instead of trying to help with the rush! I was completely taken aback and decided to just not order because of the disrespect I saw!! I then went to Jam jam and got the best boba of my life. Also the boba at teaspoon is always cheap flavorless and undercooked. Jam jam is much better and you can tell the community there is great! read more

Such a cute hidden gem inside the Burbank Town Center! The Black Sugar Assam was the perfect amount of sweetness and the boba texture was the perfect amount of chewiness. Very friendly staff and great at recommendations. I was looking for something light and refreshing.. the manager directed me to the grasshopper. I think I've purchased 3 since that day. Other drinks we've tried were golden brew and a guava drink. Grasshopper is still my fav so far, but everything we've tasted hasn't disappointed so far. The location is easy to find.. it's on the 3rd floor close to the patio entrance. There are small tables available next to the store for convenient consumption. I ordered the Matcha Royale after seeing it online, and had hoped for better results. The color pigment of my Matcha drink looked more like Honeydew, and I could not even taste the Matcha flavor. Furthermore, the service was lackluster, and I felt that her service towards others was kinder and more caring than I. I finally got around to trying The Teaspoon, since I heard it was opening in Burbank, and I loved it! I got the Black Sugar Assam, and I really enjoyed the richness and astringency of the tea balanced with the milk. In addition the boba was just right and had a nice chew to it. I also tried a sample of the Guava Sunset which was also delicious! Service was fast and I got my tea in a timely amount of time. One of the better boba tea shops in Burbank. The boba is chewy and sweet and the drinks are a good size. I ordered the Taro Lover and enjoyed the chunks of taro and texture of the taro paste. I couldn't customize the sugar levels of the taro lover, but it wasn't too sweet compared to other local boba drinks. This is probably my go to in downtown Burbank and quite honestly probably all of Burbank. Can we get more Asian stuff? read more

3.5/5. We got the house milk tea (25% sweet, no ice, with boba) and the taro lover drink (less ice, with boba). Pros: -Boba is soft, chewy, and warm -Ordering online is convenient -Ability to change sweetness level (not for taro lover) and ice level -Nice staff Cons: -House milk tea - 3/5 - had a very thin, watery, almost flavorless taste, compared to what I'm used to, even though I ordered without ice. I will try changing to their house cream next time to see if it helps. -Taro lover - 3.5/5 - taro chunks have a gritty consistency compared to places like Cha Redefine, and the drink has a strong almost vanilla flavor which is somewhat unusual. Got here early Sunday afternoon because the line was not absurdly long -- about 6 ish parties in front of us and waited around 15-20 minutes. The interior was really small and there's really only room for to place your order -- if you ordered a drink or sandwich you'd have to step outside to wait. There are a couple of small round tables covered with umbrellas for small parties if you want to do a small meet up or wait for your goods. We had wanted some croissants and apple tarts but unfortunately they had run out of the Apple tarts by the time we ordered (another excuse to return next time). We were convinced by the nice lady at the register to pick up not one but two almond croissants because they were fresh out of the oven and I'm SO GLAD we did. It was still hot/warm when we took our first bite after walking back to our car -- flaky amazing lamination with a steaming frangipane filling, for sure the best almost croissant I've had. The regular croissant was also good but not fresh/warm like the almond croissant so it left less of an impression but I can imagine it also tasting amazing if we got it fresh. Burbank is not necessarily close to where I live but I'm so glad we happened to stop by to finally try this spot out! I'd love to try the sandwiches and tarts next time!

Naturally, I asked a random customer what all the hype was about, and they told me this place was famous for their croissant pastries. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Chocolate Almond Croissant -- 9.2/10 I can only imagine how life-changing this would taste fresh out of the oven piping hot. Service was fast despite the line moving constantly, but just know there's no indoor seating. It's very much an order, pick up, and go type of spot. Ambiance was welcoming and super friendly gals. Definitely a must-try, and I'll absolutely remember to stop by again anytime I'm in Burbank. Happy eats!!

You can tell it's family-owned and operated, and that they put so much pride, love, and care into everything they make.
