Good Morning Roll. These petite cinnamon rolls are just the right size and cute like Baja Beans. They are very tasty, too!

Burbank's newest coffee shop is the delightful Baja Beans Coffeehouse. It's so small, like a dollhouse, and comfortable with some truly unique coffee drinks and just enough pastries and small bites to make you comfortable like you're at home. The owners are so friendly and have created something with such personality and identity. It just feels right. The colors and decorations are happy, elegant, and intentional. Drink-wise, I recommend The Baja, a smooth rich coconut latte, and the Mexican Mocha, a balanced and not-oversweet treat. This place is definitely worth a visit. They've been open for a month and we're already regulars.

Baja Beans! Wow. This is a new spot in Burbank and I loved it so much. I got the Forager which is a brown sugar + fig coffee; it was amazing. You can tell the coffee is different from other normal coffee spots and the fig added such a unique flavor. After getting the Forager , I HAD to try another one of their drinks. I got the Honeysuckle which is a honey matcha and pear cold foam. Refreshing and balanced flavors. Service was amazing! After the first drink , I was hesitant to ask for another drink as they were going to close soon but I was still accommodated! I appreciated that very much. Drinks came out fast yet tasted like they took their time and care with them. Ambiance is nice! A cozy coffee shop that is well decorated. It's on the smaller side with some seating inside and outside but well worth it. Overall , would love to come back again!

Unique, amazing tasting coffee! Cute atmosphere and their pastries are delicious! This place is the best new coffee spot in Burbank hands down. Soon enough it's gonna be packed for sure. Very friendly folks making the drinks, and always feels like a warm welcome.

A new coffee spot in Burbank. What a cozy spot to walk into. The decor is beautiful here. Warm colors and a lot of cute things to look at. Two tables with chairs outside for outdoor seating. Indoor has seating too with cozy pillows and all. Welcoming and friendly service. Bella helped me with my order and she made my coffee. I ordered The Forager iced and loved it. Every sip was delicious. It's made with brown sugar and fig. I asked for three shots and it was perfect. It usually comes with two shots of expresso. The sweetness level was perfect for me since I don't like overly sweet coffee drinks. They have a few other interesting ices lattes that I would love to try and will be back soon to do so. They have two kinds of sandwiches in baguette that looked amazing. Also variety of freshly baked goods. I will try them next time I'm here since I already ate before coming here. If you are in the area stop by to check them out. You will love it here. ....

I'm so glad I finally got to try out this little coffee shop. Their pastries are my favorite, I would just go to grab a morning roll. You can tell that they're baked fresh in small batches. I have also tried the chocolate queeny and a dark chocolate croissant. I've never heard of a queeny before, but I'm hooked. I would try their pastries warmed up too. I'm still working my way through the menu but so far my favorite drink is the forager. This is a milky latte that's very brown sugar forward with a light fig flavor. I believe all their syrups are made in-house, you can see them lined up in labeled glass bottles behind the counter. I have also tried the matcha latte and honeysuckle matcha latte. I really enjoyed the soft floral and fruity flavors of the honeysuckle matcha. I have never seen a shop offer pear cold foam before which stood out to me. If there's an option to double up on the matcha, I would recommend doing that too. I love how they've decorated the space to have a small beach town vibe. The surfing video playing on the tv is the perfect touch. It is tiny inside, but there are a couple seats out front. The owners are also super nice and you can see them working the shop. It's always nice to get to talk to the people behind the business. Can't wait to come back!

The Honeysuckle latte is so good! I wasn't too sure what the pear cold foam would taste like but was pleasantly surprised as soon as I had my first sip. The indoor area of the cafe is cozy and offers some seating if you are waiting for your drink or food, but they also have a couple of outdoor tables and chairs. Their signature drinks are pretty creative and unique to the coffee shop which is refreshing to see! Overall, the drinks, the vibes, and the service are all great and would recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

    The Forager: life-changing!

Five stars all the way. I'm rarely over this side of town unless I'm in Studio City for my acting class, so I decided to give Baja Beans a go after a good friend gave them a glowing review. First is first, the interior is so cute and welcoming; cozy sofa, chic wall decor, and the pastry case--can anyone say Kouign-Amann heaven? Best part? The owners. What makes any coffee shop stand out in this highly-competitive, 3rd-wave congested city is the ownership: Zach and Bella. Zach and Bella are sweet, knowledgeable on their product, and quick considering it's a two-person operation. I got their signature drink--The Forager--and boy was I in heaven! Espresso over ice, notes of fig, brown sugar, and milk of your choice. Delightful experience thought-and-through . Baja Beans, you've got yourself a new regular.

The best coffee I've had in Burbank. The coconut iced coffee was really good and not too sweet. The difference about this coffee shop and others is they make most of the syrups! If I'm going to play $7.50 it better be from scratch and not those $5 pre made syrups you can buy on your own.

Light, silky, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor without feeling too sweet. I also tried the raspberry chocolate pastry which was beautifully executed with raspberry compote and chocolate mousse, but I'm just very particular about chocolate-forward desserts. The iced vanilla latte was the perfect balance alongside the pastries, and I ended up leaving with a handful of macarons that were honestly addictive. Every flavor was delicious. Love the outdoor seating too. Perfect spot to slow down for a minute, enjoy a coffee, and have a really elevated pastry experience.

Their New York rolls were full, rich, flaky, and flavorful. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has gone completely downhill. The croissants are now dry, overcooked, and tasteless , even early in the morning. It honestly feels like they changed the butter because the flavor is gone. The pastries look beautiful for Instagram, but the taste no longer matches the image. People probably come for the terrace and the "Paris" aesthetic, but nothing about these pastries feels authentically French anymore. The owner is Iranian and honestly should stick to Iranian pastries instead of trying to market this place as a French pâtisserie, because it is nowhere close to the quality or refinement of a real French pastry shop. On top of that, customer service is terrible. The employees are rude, impatient, and act bothered when you ask simple questions like the price of a croissants ; especially since prices are not clearly displayed. Paying almost $7 for a croissant or New York roll, and $10+ for many pastries, would maybe be acceptable with excellent quality and service... but definitely not with dry pastries and rude staff. Parking is another nightmare. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to park on San Fernando, pay for parking, and parking enforcement is constantly circling waiting to ticket people the second your time expires. This was my last visit. Save your money and go elsewhere for pastries -- honestly, even Whole Foods does better at this point.

Most of the tables were taken, but I didn't feel like people had to wait around for a table. I felt pretty rushed when ordering, so I didn't get a chance to ask about some of the fruit mousse things. I did order the mushroom, peach, and mango. The mushroom was creamy and definitely had hazelnut spread or mousse in there. The peach one was delightful and tasted like summer. The mango was subtle, but tasted better if you held it in your hand and bit into vs using a fork - don't ask me why. I also ordered two Ajarskis (boat-shaped pizza with cheese-filled crusts, topped with runny eggs). I was a little surprised by the price, but they are pretty large and hearty so I only ate 1/4-1/2 and was able to spread each one out over 3 meals. The veggie one was LOADED with veggies and so delicious. The bread on it was homemade and perfectly crusty. The Armenian was delightful and light. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place!

Got here early Sunday afternoon because the line was not absurdly long -- about 6 ish parties in front of us and waited around 15-20 minutes. The interior was really small and there's really only room for to place your order -- if you ordered a drink or sandwich you'd have to step outside to wait. There are a couple of small round tables covered with umbrellas for small parties if you want to do a small meet up or wait for your goods. We had wanted some croissants and apple tarts but unfortunately they had run out of the Apple tarts by the time we ordered (another excuse to return next time). We were convinced by the nice lady at the register to pick up not one but two almond croissants because they were fresh out of the oven and I'm SO GLAD we did. It was still hot/warm when we took our first bite after walking back to our car -- flaky amazing lamination with a steaming frangipane filling, for sure the best almost croissant I've had. The regular croissant was also good but not fresh/warm like the almond croissant so it left less of an impression but I can imagine it also tasting amazing if we got it fresh. Burbank is not necessarily close to where I live but I'm so glad we happened to stop by to finally try this spot out! I'd love to try the sandwiches and tarts next time!

The Line Told Me Everything I Needed to Know…read more Stumbled upon this spot after nearby Japanese BBQ, and what immediately caught my attention was the line -- probably around 20 people deep. Naturally, I asked a random customer what all the hype was about, and they told me this place was famous for their croissant pastries. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Chocolate Almond Croissant -- 9.2/10 I can only imagine how life-changing this would taste fresh out of the oven piping hot. Service was fast despite the line moving constantly, but just know there's no indoor seating. It's very much an order, pick up, and go type of spot. Ambiance was welcoming and super friendly gals. Definitely a must-try, and I'll absolutely remember to stop by again anytime I'm in Burbank. Happy eats!!
