So today I wanted to try this place on the Burbank Mall on the third floor and got it delivered I love Taro so I thought I would try their Taro lovers item It is so good and fresh, and especially NOT too sweet‼ So good

Teaspoon is a prominent modern boba tea chain founded in 2015 by Amy Lai. The first location opened in Los Altos, CA, with a mission to bridge traditional Taiwanese flavors with a fresh, American twist. Lai, an entrepreneur who grew up in the San Francisco boba scene, aimed to make the experience more accessible and mainstream by using high quality ingredients and a simpler, visually driven menu. Friendly service and clean, modern, cute shop aesthetic. They offer flexible sugar and ice levels, though some specialized drinks have fixed sweetness. Drinks we ordered: Taro Lovers (fixed sweetness) House Milk Tea Grasshopper Creamy Jasmine Drinks were on the lighter side and weak in flavor, maybe it was because of the sweetness level. We will be back to try other flavors.

I ordered the Grasshopper with less ice and 75% sweetness. It was refreshing, but still a bit too sweet for my taste--next time I'd go with 50% sweetness. The drink was layered at first, and the staff suggested shaking it to mix everything evenly. The staff was friendly and patient, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. They have outdoor seating, including a nice patio, which made it a great place to sit and enjoy the drink.

Took advantage of an Uber Eats bogo deal and ordered the large boba Thai cited tea, easy ice, and 1/2 sweetened with dairy free creamer. The boba was soft and the tea was sweet without being overly sweet. Loved the creamy concoction and I enjoyed the following boba the next day. I always pour out the boba and heat them Up and they soften again! I'd ordered from them again.

Nya was a great help, she recommended this refreshing drink called peachy twist. They have plenty of options to choose from. I would recommend this drink as well it's soo good. The ambiance is amazing they have their own little patio which is perfect to chill and enjoy your drink.

Yum! A brown sugar milk tea that's actually flavorful! I hate when I try a milk tea somewhere that literally tastes only like milk. Teaspoon's had a perfect balance of tea & milk. Boba tasted fresh too!!! Ube Vietnamese Coffee - Wish there were more of the ube foam as the flavor was too light but the drink overall was decent. I love shopping while sipping on a refreshing drink so I'm glad this opened up. You can also order thru their app & earn points. Will definitely return.

My sister and I were craving matcha, but the first place we visited wasn't open yet. Fortunately, we found this cozy spot nearby. Teaspoon is inside the Burbank Mall, on the Third floor, by the back entrance. We found the shop fast. Their menu has a variety of boba drinks and some coffee options for those who prefer a different drink. The girl at the counter noticed and offered some recommendations. She mentioned that their matcha was a popular choice. I opted for the matcha with strawberries. The matcha we ordered was ceremonial grade, and its rich, earthy flavor was evident in every sip. I paired it with oat milk and a delightful crème brûlée topping. The combination was simply divine, making it the perfect choice for a warm summer day. Although there's no seating available, we didn't mind since we were on our way to another destination. We loved it so much that we are already planning on coming back next week!

Was just here last week. You know wifey's cravings, she's a milk tea addict, lol! Wow, the drinks here are amazingly good! they hit the right amount of sugar they put in their milk tea and so pleasant to drink. I like the way they have a different kinds of boba milk tea and with unique blend. Staff are nice and friendly. Service is fast and clean place. Excellent al together

Loved it. Ordered through the kiosk, my Vietnamese coffee hit hard! Did not really have any employee interaction, which is fine. They delivered my drink in a timely manner, and it was good! Price is steep, about 7.50 for a drink, but it was very good. It can be overlooked just a bit. I would come back and try another drink next time I am at the Burbank Mall. It saved me while I was with my kiddos at Candyland. Thank you, teaspoon!

Service was awesome! I love all the different choices of Boba drinks that are available. This is in the mall, there is a small section where you can sit and enjoy your drink.

An absolute must try! Located on the third floor of the Burbank town center, very convenient spot and great to stop by while shopping as well. Staff is super friendly and helped me in my decision making as it was my first time visiting. I was recommended the silky mango and it was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor a lot, it was refreshing in a way, not overpowering sweet or milky! And the mango flavor was not artificially tasting. I also grabbed the Golden Brew and as a coffee gal, this was my favorite! It was superb in flavor, not bitter or overly sweet. The perfect balance. The tapioca pearls make the drinks! They're the most chewy and tasty boba I've ever had. (I've had a lot of boba). There is an option to order on the tablet which I found so easy to use and helpful to look at photos on a bigger screen! Overall I definitely recommend TeaSpoon and I can't wait to come back and try other drinks in the menu!

Burbank's best Boba is right here in the Burbank Mall

Went back again because it IS just the best tasting boba in Burbank! Still, a great establishment. Polite. Hard working and really can lift your day with such tasty drinks. - So. good! Skip Boba Time-- seriously. That's the "Starbucks of Boba". Teaspoon is the real deal!

    Silky Mango
    Marcus C.

Located on the third floor of the Burbank Town Center, Teaspoon has just been open for 3 months or so. We saw their huge line for the grand opening and thought it must be something special, but turns out it was just because they offered a free glass bottle for the first number of customers. There's never a line after that day so don't worry about a long wait. Drinks took 5-10 minutes but it's not a huge dealbreaker - I think the staff is still trying to get their bearings as they were dealing with a backlog of online orders while dealing with walk-up customers such as ourselves. My better half ordered the Silky Mango while I had the Strawberry Colada Smoothie. Neither of us particularly liked the drinks. For our money, It's Boba Time is better and has way more options to choose from. Overall we found Teaspoon meh - wish them nothing but luck moving forward, but we most likely won't be back. There are a few tables next to it if you want to be inside, but if you want some fresh air it's directly next to the 3rd floor patio which has plenty of seating. Downside of being next to the patio is that there's always a clog of people trying to exit/enter vs. customers waiting for their orders. Not the most ideal placement for Teaspoon.

It's the hot coffee you brew plus ice. Last I checked, that was the most common coffee order in the US. Ended up with a cold brew, which is not the same thing as iced coffee (and again... a "world famous coffee house" should know this). Cold brew has a different flavor profile and more caffeine. Either the employee is really uninformed about the most basic things about coffee or this business refuses to pour their normal medium/dark/flavored roast coffee over ice because they charge twice as much for cold brew... neither of which is acceptable. If you want to wait in a 30-minute line with kids running into you and the decor completely unattended, and overpay for a drink that wasn't what you ordered... this is the place for you. Otherwise, any of the other local Burbank coffee shops are better. Literally, pick any of the other places and you will have a better experience.

This cafe is run by a family of wonderful, empowering women who support their community and their customers with engaging events and delicious coffee. When I first moved to Burbank I was given a warm welcome by the ladies behind the counter and since then I'm happy to be a regular. Their drinks are on the more expensive side compared to larger corporate chains, but the taste and quality well makes up for the expense. They have a comfortable selection of bakery items, a diverse drink menu for all kinds of pallets, and signature lattes that hit the spot. This location offers a free library where customers can take a book and leave a book, reading in the shop or taking home, with an honor code of being expected to keep said book in good shape and to return it eventually. Their book vending machine is a huge hit, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and their location has a restroom. On the weekends they invite other small sellers, clothing entrepreneurs, bread makers, up-in-coming pottery shops, and more to use their store as a venue to expand their business. The Three Sisters' dedication to their community goes as far as sharing their success, which I admire! The cons of this location however, are that I firmly believe they've outgrown their space. Lines often form out of the cafe regularly and onto the street. It can take quite some time to wait when this happens. When they have sellers inside too--it becomes difficult to move it's so crowded. There's often not enough tables and chairs to go around, and it's uncomfortable to wait outside when it's sunny with zero shade or seats. While I love the shop encouraging people to stay and do their work, or relax, the limited seating capacity makes it so many customers are often left standing. I hope Three Sisters considers moving to a larger space, adapting outdoor seating to the experience, or grows their business enough to comfortably open multiple locations in the future to give their dedicated consumers and neighbors more space to enjoy their products.

I was very embarrassed to go up to the counter and ask for a redo, but did it anyways. They redid it without a hassle and I was very thankful. Me and my friend sat down, and I tried my friend's drink and commented that it wasn't sweet. Which is what she ordered, I didn't say it loud or nasty or anything that would excuse the following. The owner then yelled very loudly (I'm not exaggerating either) from the counter and asked very rudely if I didn't like my drink again, thinking that my friend's drink was mine. The entire coffee shop went silent, and it was very, very awkward. I was humiliated, especially since I was already embarrassed to ask for a redo. I stated that it was my friend's drink, which my friend responded and said that it was fine. She didn't say anything back other than a clipped "okay." I've been in the food service for a long time and have been a manager a few times as well. If I ever suspected that someone did not like what they had received I would come over privately and ask them. I understand that we all have bad days but it was highly unprofessional and embarrassing. Who would want to sit for another hour after you practically got yelled at for not liking a messed up drink. I will keep returning since their drinks are lovely, (especially their strawberry matcha!). The atmosphere is very cozy, and I'm happy to be a regular. I'm just hoping that the owner reflects on how she handles these type of situations for the future.

Service: 10/10! The workers kept the line moving and were quick to take and start orders even while people were still in line to get to the register. The line moved quick and the workers were kind and efficient! It had a busier feel than other coffee shops I go to, there was just a higher sense of urgency in the drink prep and in the customer base. I kept on feeling like I was in the way just going from waiting to order, to paying, to waiting for my drink. I've never had so many people have so many reasons to brush past me in such a short period of time. It might not be a spot I continue to go to just based on that alone, but it is worth trying and might be YOUR complete new favorite. It has the charm of a classic coffee shop and has a very "Stars Hollow" feel, which is fun, especially so close to WB. I can see why people like this spot. It feels genuine and they do what they do well. My iced latte was okay- it had a very creamy texture. My boyfriend said his didn't taste like anything special. But we were happy to have tried some place new. Definitely check it out! In terms of dietary restrictions kind of food options- I only glanced because I wasn't getting anything, but they did have a gluten free muffin and a couple of pre-packaged vegan snacks, but I didn't otherwise see other vegan options (there was a spot for a vegan carrot cake, but they were sold out). So plan accordingly! Their pastries looked great! So if you're not dairy free/vegan, you'll find something
