Great place to grab tea drinks in the Summerlin area. The staff is friendly and efficient, cranking out drinks quickly. Some of their drinks are a little on the sweet side, especially if they involve flavors or fruit purees. Always remember to tell them your adjustments when ordering (sweetness level, ice, milk alternatives, etc)

I was in this area for training, and while walking to the garage for my car, I saw this cute little place called Teaspoon across the street. The training had been long, so I needed a pick me up, not knowing exactly what this place was. I actually thought it was a tea and coffee place. Had no idea it was a Boba by the name (lol). It's so cute and aesthetically pleasing inside. The menu is a bit intimidating- it's a lot and so many choices, which all sound delicious, but the girl there that was working by herself at the time was so patient and helpful. She gave great customer service. She basically asked what I was in the mood for, I told her I wanted something sweet and a tea instead of coffee and needed dairy accommodations. She recommended this fantastic drink, which I was able to add Oreos to. I do not remember the name, but it was black tea, and I added oat milk instead of regular. The macaroon was tasty, soft and not overly sweet. Definitely recommend this place for a quick drink, and a macaroon

I've been a big fan of Teaspoon ever since they opened their first location in Los Altos. When I lived in the Bay Area, I typically visited Teaspoon at least twice a week. Since I moved away, I've only had it one more time - in Torrance, which turned out to be a huge disappointment. Did the chain really nosedive in quality due to their quick expansion or was it just an issue with that location? With a bit of apprehensiveness, I approached the Summerlin location on a recent trip to Vegas. Creamy Jasmine, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.25) - Creamy Jasmine used to be my favorite drink for the first year of Teaspoon's existence before they removed it from the menu. I could order it afterwards as part of the secret menu, but locations often made it differently since I think they didn't have a standardized recipe after the removal. On this visit, I was glad to see it back. For this drink, the bobarista brews fresh jasmine tea in the espresso machine, then mixes sweetener and creamer in, finally dumping the mixture into a cup with ice and boba. The drink exhibits a good jasmine flower flavor that permeates every sip. Some tea leaves somehow make it through the espresso machine strainer, depositing a couple of tea leaf bits on the bottom of the drink. The drink doesn't have much creamer added, so it's a bit thin without much body, but the flavor is good. A bit of harshness from the fructose comes through, indicating lack of balance. Still, overall the drink tastes pretty good, with the sweetness being good at half, and the ice level perhaps being a bit too much at less. The boba is very good as well. They have a good sweetness level and a nice fragrance. The pearls have a velvety sweet layer on the outside from the honey soak, which gives them a sticky chew. They are very consistent in both size and soft, chewy, texture, with the exterior being exceptionally bouncy and the interior being just a bit more firm. This is the kind of boba I drank 2-3 times a week in the past where I would chew six sides off, leaving a small center cuboid to relish. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 I'm glad to say that this Teaspoon meets the standard set by the initial flagship Teaspoon. I would definitely revisit the next time I'm in Vegas. Been here once before and wasn't sure if we'd ever come back - Liquid Gold was way too sweet and black tea lychee was just ok. However we gave this place another try last night as there weren't too many other boba tea options past 10pm. Beautiful flowers painted on the wall, ice cold A/C. Used the mobile app (I believe it gave me a couple of dollars off) to order a Creamy Jasmine, 50% sweet and Guava Sunset, 50% sweet and they were perfect. Staff member was very nice and did not take too long to make our drinks once we arrived.

We ordered Astra Ube and A Strawberry Colada. I like that you can adjust the sweetness. They were both good. The aesthetic inside with the big gold spoon on the wall is unique. Customer service is attentive. I noticed that there were only two of them, one was the cashier and the other one was making the drinks. It got pretty busy while we were waiting for our drinks. If you want to sit down to dine they have a limited table and seating area. Overall our experience is not bad. Thanks for inviting us to this event. We enjoyed our drinks

Staff was nice and worked quickly. I ordered the Taro Lover with honey boba and a Dirty Ube with coffee jelly. They were both flavorful, but I didn't realize until we left that they did not put my coffee jelly. Instead, I got boba & the Taro Lover had no boba in it. I'm a bit disappointed about that because maybe the Dirty Ube would've tasted better with it and not sure if I was charged extra for those. They have a lot of things on their menu that sounds good. I might try it again if I'm in the area again, but have to make sure my order is correct. read more

So far have tried the Caramel Cream and Strawberry Colada. Caramel Cream is probably one of the best versions of brown / black sugar boba I've had, I just wish it was less sweet. Or had the option of less sweet - I think 50% sweet would be perfect. Strawberry Colada - great flavor, can taste each fruit in this blend of pineapple, coconut, strawberry, BUT it is SO, SO sweet. Like undrinkable sweet, like I can feel it spiking my blood sugar and going to my head after every sip type of sweet. I love the flavors of both, would just ask Teaspoon staff to please reduce the amount of sugar or give us the ability to choose % sweetness. I didn't realize it was bubble tea from the store front. I was looking for hot tea. But, the people were all upbeat and friendly. I got to try a free sample and it was very tasty despite being cold and wanting hot tea! They have a little display with desserts as well (macaroons, coffee cake, rice crispy marshmallow bars, etc.). First time here and it was cute. The drinks were good. The service was well. The only reason why I gave it a one is because the 3 drinks I ordered 2 of them had a hole where the plastic top was suppose to be sealed. They informed me that one of them had a hole . I was okay with it because stuff happens and I get it. I come home and give my significant other his drink. He starts shaking it so the black sugar wasn't sitting in one spot.Then out of no where it start spraying everywhere from the plastic seal after he shakes it. It starts getting everywhere and I look at the bag to see that it spilled a bit in the bag otw home. If my aqua berry fizz was the second drink to be made with the hole wouldn't you have checked the one that came before or after it? I'm just disappointed that this is the first impression of the drink and it came out like this. I hope the two other people that ordered after me the plastic cover didn't have holes like mine. read more

My drink was tampered with after I spoke with who claimed to be the manager at this establishment just simply trying to have an order substituted due to there not being an option on Uber eats. This is something I have had done before with this company & there was no issue. While on the phone the manager had the most snippiest attitude & told me he wouldn't be able to do anything outside of what Uber eats showed . Had to come on Yelp and write my first review because I had an absolutely amazing experience! I usually don't write reviews but everything about this place was so great. While waiting in line, one of the employees, Kate, was super sweet and helpful. She gave me multiple samples of their drinks and was so friendly. I went with the Guava Sunset and it was so good! What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The staff still said no. That response honestly made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was that I had my service dog with me. I truly hope that wasn't the reason for the way I was treated, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many of my friends have said the same thing: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People come because the products are great, not because they're treated well. Sadly, it feels like there's no hospitality--only attitude. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, back when the first location opened on Durango. The churro waffle was also incredibly delicious and something they're known for. I liked that the sausage links were a big size, too, and came with two. I used to love this place. Ive been coming here since their grand opening and it was my favorite boba around town. The last few weeks have been sadly disappointing. This place has drastically gone downhill. I never had an issue with any of the staff and only once was my drink made wrong but they fixed it right away. My three most recent visits the past few weeks left me not wanting to come back. I thought it wouldve been a one time thing but three times in a row there has been issues. Ive been denied drinks twice because I came before they closed. I was there before 10 though and I looked at the hours on their door and online to make sure I wasnt late. I thought the barista was having a bad day but the same thing happened again with a different barista. My most recent visit was a few weeks ago. I wanted to come back today but remembered what happened. I was served my drink but a different new barista made it wrong and there was no cream. I asked them to add cream but instead they gave me a refund. I didnt even want a refund. I wanted the boba I always come in for. When I asked to speak to the manager they told me they were the manager. I told them they can fix my drink then. Instead he gave me a refund and told me thats all he can do. Im not sure if hes telling the truth or not because this never happened before and I dont think that new guy was actually the manager. If he was then that explains my most recent visits. I used to bring all my friends and family here but now I have to look for a new favorite. For anyone going, just be prepared for an awkward atmosphere, not as friendly baristas as before, and risking getting something you didnt order. read more
