The coffee at this shop is really good quality. I got an iced honey graham latte both times that I was here & loved it. The drink was sweet & really tasted like a graham cracker! But I loved that the flavor of the coffee really came through too. At some coffee shops you can't taste the coffee, or the flavored lattes taste like they're made with an instant coffee mix, but that is not the case here. The layout of the inside of the shop could be designed better, in my opinion. It is a good sized space, but it's not designed to smoothly handle a crowd. They have a few tables & then a large, two layer seating bench. It looks cool, especially if there are not many people inside. But if there are even 10 people inside it feels very crowded. There is lot parking within walking distance or you can find parking on the street for 2 hours max. People are coming and going so I lucked out with finding parking on the street that's about a 2-3 minute walk to the coffee shop. First glance, this place is extremely busy. Very difficult to secure seating on a table both inside and outside. I like the naturally lighting that came through. The tiered seating on the wall is interesting and definitely could be more cozy for people. Ordered a Honeysuckle Latte. I like my coffee on the sweeter side and this was perfect for me. The "for here" glass it came in was super cute too. I also ordered a Croissant Bacon Egg which looked and tasted pretty basic but was still good to eat. Service was ok. I feel like baristas could have been friendlier. I tried to return my dish to clear my space and a barista pointed to where I was supposed to return it and there was about 5 people crowding the area, hence why I decided to hand it to her. She finally took it from me. I enjoyed my coffee but I am not sure that I would come back here again to hangout. I would come again to take my coffee to-go. Came into mothership today with my son and it was interesting. Seating is very awkward. I can see what they were trying to achieve with the multilevel seating: maximize space, offer more seating. But I feel like they might have been better off having one long bench with tables and chairs. My 3 year old immediately saw this as an invitation to play and jumped up and started playing with their tiger chain art display. Obviously that wasn't the intention of the design but it seemed like a bit of a design flaw. And of course I grabbed my kid once he started treating the place like a playground. When we got up to the front of the line I was finally able to see the pastry case and not a single item was labeled. No name, no price. I jokingly said I liked that we get to create our own name for the items and was met with a blank stare. You would think with such long lines that they would expedite the ordering process by having these items labeled? At the very least let me know what it's called! I had to guess and order based off of observation alone that made ordering take longer. Customer service was sad. No one smiled. No friendly conversation. Lots of blank stares. Side note, I noticed so many customers ahead of me very confused about which drink was theirs. Maybe try writing on the cup what the drink is for them? All in all, coffee was good but the food was nothing special. Bread from the 3 sandwiches we ordered were a bit stale, especially the everything bacon egg whatever sandwich. Blueberry scone was flavorless and bitter. This is disappointing when you're spending $60+ on food and coffee. Will I return to this location specifically? With my son, no. For food? Maybe not. However, we ordered one decaf cherry blossom latte and one regular latte and they swapped which one was supposed to have caffeine and also which was supposed to have foam. I didn't realize until later, so the unintended caffeine did have a pretty unfortunate effect on my day. After my family member and I gave our order the girl taking our order told us that they ran out of the cream that goes on top of the latte. It was 9 am, so it was weird hearing they had run out and they wouldn't be making any more. I asked her if she could recommend another latte or tell me her favorite and she plainly looked at me and said just a plain latte. I decided to change up my order completely and got a hot toffee nut latte. Once my sandwich was ready and they called out my family members name, she went up to grab the sandwich and two drinks. Long story short, the drinks with the sandwich were not ours but the people who ordered ahead of us. Not sure why the staff didn't call out different names or separated the orders, but feels like there was a communication issue amongst staff which was passed on to customers. This is definitely one of our favorite spots to go when we're hanging out in Downtown Summerlin. It's a small cafe with an eclectic, hipster vibe that offers beautiful decor and indoor seating. This place is always packed when we come in, but the service runs smoothly and the employees are very friendly. There's a variety of items on their menu from coffees, teas, sandwiches and pastries. Mothership Coffee Roasters was a disappointment, and it mostly comes down to the seating and layout. The stepped bench seating puts the row behind you at head level. When people up top cross their legs, their shoes end up right behind you--so if you turn your head or lean back, you're basically dealing with shoes in your space. On top of that, people step on the seating to get to the upper row, so you're watching dirty shoes go where people sit. Add kids climbing around and kicking the back of the bench while you're seated, and it just feels unsanitary and not relaxing. The tables in front of the bench area are also set really low, which makes sitting there uncomfortable. The ordering setup makes the crowding worse. The line runs through the middle of the shop, and there are no menus posted until you're at the front--so people stand at the register trying to decide what they want, which backs everything up. Put the menu up on the wall!!! and the line would move faster, this is the worst coffee so the line isn't because the coffee is great! I believe they want to "make it " look like the lines long so people think, wow must be a great place to get coffee. Wrong! Because of the seating situation (shoes + kicking), we ended up sitting outside in the cold, windy tunnel area just to feel comfortable. Also, Staff also weren't pleasant. The one good thing: the Mothership Melt was solid. Everything else made it a place I wouldn't go back to. Also, I notice someone from the store commenting on every post, I wish you'd take what we say to heart and fix the problem, don't just reply to reply back. Another dumb tactic. read more

One of my friends wanted to meet at Mothership Coffee Roasters in the afternoon on a Friday! This location is in Downtown Summerlin, right across from the Apple Store! I was surprised at how busy it was inside! Luckily my friend had a table for two inside the Mothership Coffee Roasters, but there was also outside seating as well! Mothership Coffee Roaster's menu has a wide range of lattes, teas, tea lattes, and classic coffee options! The coffee shop also offered a free coloring & activity sheet for kids! Some of their options include the following Jasmine Green Creme Brulee Latte Caramel Latte Butterbeer Latte Cappuccino Espresso Float Strawberry Milk Matcha and so much more! If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, Mothership Coffee Roasters has some freshly baked grab & go options also! You can get sandwiches, bowls, burritos, and even some seasonal pastries! My friend ended up getting the Strawberry Lemon Glazed Muffin, which was fantastic! I had a large hot chocolate with whipped cream and whole milk. The coffee and breakfast items are good. I'm giving this 1 star review for their poor customer service. We came for a business meeting and sat outside. I grabbed the coffees from the counter and sat down. The leg on the chair broke and it dropped me on the floor. Everyone in the restaurant turned around but nobody from Mothership came out to see if I was ok. After our meeting was over, we ended up taking the chair and leg in. The coffee shop is beautiful and offers a good amount of seating. I very much appreciate all the cushions to sit on. Staff has always been nice and accommodating. Delicious coffee, quick service, cute shop, what more could you want from a coffee shop!? I know, they're locally and woman owned! This particular spot is small, they have a decent amount of seating indoor and outdoor. They don't have a menu posted anywhere, except at the front near the register, which is why the line is long. But they're quick and thankfully have a smaller menu so it doesn't take too long to look through. Their lattes are delicious, I love the mocha and the butterbeer. However the price is a bit high. It's comparable to other coffee shops, so nothing to complain about but I definitely shy away from constant visits bc of the price. A regular latte is $7 and the large is $8. As I said, basically the same price as every other shop but they do pride themselves on their beans, the source of the beans, morals, charity... so you are supporting a great business! read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was too frustrating not to share. A few weeks ago, I accidentally left my Tom Ford sunglasses at the Downtown Summerlin Mothership Coffee location. Leaving them there was my mistake. However, when I returned the next day, employee Sierra immediately recognized them and even described the white case before I mentioned it myself. She told me the sunglasses had been found after closing and placed in the lost-and-found area before the evening team left for the night. Sierra searched everywhere, contacted the morning team, and genuinely did everything she could to help because she knew the sunglasses had been there. Both she and the evening staff remembered seeing them and leaving them in the lost-and-found area. The white case was fairly large and noticeable, making it difficult to believe it was simply thrown away by mistake. The sunglasses had been found, recovered by staff, and placed in lost-and-found. Somehow, they later disappeared from an employee-only area. This is what made the situation so concerning. I then waited several days to hear back from the morning manager but received no response. After multiple follow-ups, I eventually spoke with the manager directly and received what I felt was a dismissive and unnecessarily rude response. The most disappointing part was that before properly addressing my concern, I was asked whether I spoke English. As someone who has worked hard to build a life in this country, I found that disrespectful and completely unnecessary. Also, the manager told me that businesses are not responsible for items lost by customers. Fair enough. If I had simply lost my sunglasses somewhere in the café and nobody had ever found them, I would have accepted that responsibility myself. But that is not what happened here. The item had already been found, recovered by staff, and placed in lost-and-found. At that point, customers deserve answers. As a result, I filed a formal complaint with corporate. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the sunglasses themselves. It was about how the situation was handled. I requested that CCTV footage be reviewed. Based on the camera locations inside the store, it seemed unlikely that the area in question would not be visible. But what followed were weeks of unanswered questions. Promised updates never came unless I followed up myself. However, I was later told that the footage was unclear and had eventually been overwritten. Eventually, Mothership's corporate team acknowledged that the situation had been mishandled and suggested a gift card. This review is not about the gift card, nor is it about the monetary value of the sunglasses. It is about customer service and trust. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, to receive timely communication, and to have their concerns taken seriously when problems arise. For that reason, I wanted to share both sides of this experience -- the shortcomings that created unnecessary frustration, and the employee who reminded me what good customer service should look like. Throughout this entire process, Sierra was kind, honest, professional, and genuinely tried to help. She communicated clearly, followed up with other staff, and treated me with respect every step of the way. I also believe employees who genuinely care about their work deserve recognition. Sierra consistently demonstrated professionalism, honesty, accountability, and kindness. Sierra -- thank you. You were the best part of an otherwise disappointing experience. read more

My friend of the tiramisu cold brew and that was delicious as well. The workers were so sweet and really helpful with helping me pick my drink. I came here with my friend before our flight. I don't drink coffee but I got a jasmine tea and they added honey in it for me since I had lost my voice. The indoor space had seating along the left side and some benches along the right side, very intimate of you're with a large group of friends. We ordered some drinks and I got the banana Matcha along with the chocolate chip cookie which was absolutely amazing!! They toasted it up for me as well which gave it a nice little touch. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Matcha noobie here. The first matcha I had was at Mothership. But I must say that it lived up to the hype. Matcha drinks are all the rage and I so decided to try it out to see if I could replace my caffeine addiction with something "healthier". I am glad I chose Mothership for my first go at matcha. The staff is friendly enough, without being too in your face. The inside of the store is smaller than I expected, but has a cool boho-chic feel. They have lots of tables and seating if you want to work or study while sipping. I have never had trouble finding parking in short walking distance to the door. The prices are a little steep, but I guess that is the going rate for good matcha.
