Checked this place out for the first time ever with my friend because I was on a mission to find the best shaved snow (not ice) and not many come close to this. We ordered the Hangover 3 (but we were sober 2) and dived in. My gosh, the shaved snow itself was so light and snowy just like the texture from Taiwan shaved snow. The flavor of the thai tea put my tongue in awe from the richness of it. Mochi was squeeshy yet not too chewy so as to give just enough oomph when you bite into them. Can we talk about the coffee jelly. The only other time I've had was in Taiwan so please hook me up with your supplier. And when you're just left with some shaved snow soup (aka melted therefore becomes soupy), you've got some rich thai tea to slurp slurp. read more

Ever since the new owners took over they have cheapened the drinks. Stingy toppings and water downed tea. MyHealth strawberry sangria used to be great and now with the new owners they have half the amount of strawberries syrup and the tea is muted. Horrible. I'm not sure if delays to flavors are due to COVID delays or poor ordering. It is a hit and miss on specific drink flavors. Sometimes they have and sometimes they do not. I got in line 3x this week for mango on fire only to get to the front of the line to find out they do not have chamoy an ingredient. I'm not sure if there is new staff be owners or what, but I've been there a few times and I usually get the same drink. It's a signature drink and I always ask for crema on top. Never had an Issue. I went in today and asked for the same drink and the girls said they couldn't do it. They said they don't normally do this and if somebody did it for me in the past it was because maybe they like me, but they don't ever change or make a custom drink. I told them that I've got the same drink in the past and I've never had an issue. They said they don't do this for anyone. So I left without a drink. I'm not sure what's going!! That being said here's what i think about Teaspoon: it's a cute shop to take quirky pics in for the ig. the customer service was fantastic and everyone who works there is the sweetest. however, the first time i went, they handed out my drink with syrup all over the sides....and didn't even have napkins to wipe it up. the boba was extra chewy (which i actually don't mind, but to some it may be too "hard"). last but not least the tea was very watery...whyyyy Everyone one i talk to who says they've been here says the same exact thing. I went in to get a couple of teas. I had a bogo deal. The girl who took my order never asked if I wanted boba so I thought it came with it. She wouldnt give me a point for the full priced drink. I didn't argue I just waited for my drinks. My drink order was called and there was no boba in it. When asked she said I didn't pay for any. I told her I wasn't asked so I thought it was included. She told me it would be another 60 cents. She then told me to get back inline e to pay. There were 8 people inline at the time. I said never mind I didn't have time to wait agian I had already been there about 7 min. There customer service isn't great they should have just taken the 60 cents and rang it up later or fixed it for free instead of asking me to wait in a long line agian. I also tried the rose petal tea with crystal boba and mango stars, the crystal boba is my favorite. Not a five star because I am obsessed with Thai tea and have tried anything Thai tea flavor at various places. This time around at this specific boba shop the Thai tea was just a little bland and not strong enough. Something I greatly appreciated was their customer service because I had came with my sister and she ended up having an allergic reaction to something in their mango drink and they kindly let her switch to another drink and gave her water. You get the feeling they might not like their jobs or their customers much, or maybe both. Why do I say this? You walk in, view menu, and approach order window. Absent is a Hello, how are you? Or... Ready to order? Or... and general pleasant talk, or suggestions, or an audible Thank You at end of transaction. I've been here a lot but decided to make a review recently in lieu of corona. ever since corona became a national emergency i thought... oh no! no more milk tea. so i went in and tried the "TBOX". Basically 6-8 cups of milk tea in a bag thats in a box that you can dispense at home. I got a japanese rice milk tea (my go-to drink) and you can choose two toppings to take home as well. they filled the cup 3/4 way for both toppings. definitely had more toppings than tea tho. It lasts about 3-4 days so it was nice sharing it with my family as well over the week. I must say its a luxury to be able to have milk tea when you go to the fridge for $32 why not? very convenient and as long as you get the one you usually like its a no brainer :) read more

Teaspoon is my go to boba place. I typically gravitate towards a place that has several non dairy alternatives and can adjust sugar levels, but this place has that and more. They freshly brew the tea for every serving (I love the Japanese rice green tea) which is better than powdered tea. They offer oat milk which I love with my boba. The price point is higher than most places but it is all worth it because I know I'm getting a high quality product. They also serve some ice snow desserts which is also delicious and just the right proportions. The staff is also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place. read more

I came into the shopping center (the Marketplace) where this new Teaspoon location has been opened, not knowing there was a Teaspoon here. I was thrilled to see that a Teaspoon had opened up, as I had been wanting to try it FOREVER but no locations are near me. I came in and there were a lot of people sitting inside already with their drinks, but no line to order. So the cashier was ready to take my order but I had no idea what to get because it was my first time, so I let her know that it was my first time and she gave me some suggestions. I've tried the house milk tea, the rose oolong tea with classic cream (though i wasn't a fan of oolong tea in general), and the jasmine tea with house made cream, all with honey boba. Honestly Teaspoon isn't exactly authentic boba drinks, but I feel like they use healthier ingredients. I love the honey boba buuuut it would be nice if there was a little more boba put into the drinks. I also wish the tea was brewed more strongly. It's not the weakest but I'd like a little more strong. Overall Teaspoon isn't the best boba I've had, but it does the job when I crave boba and I continue to come back if I happen to be in the plaza where it's located. It's clean, modern, and sleek af. Everything is shiny and metallic and beautiful for a boba place. I got two drinks and they were both good. I do agree with a few others that the flavor of the drinks could be "boosted" a bit, but it's still good. You can taste the natural cane sugar in the drinks (rather than the cheap syrups of other boba places). I love the look of the cup and the straw as well. I purchased the glass bottle with the wood top and it's beautiful and reusable. The location itself is a bit hidden. I hope it survives. I used to be a T4 regular, but I think I'll be making the switch to Teaspoon. I docked a couple stars because the service has been super SUPER SLOW. Took me about 45 minutes to get my drinks. They are definitely not efficient. Also, $7 (with tip and tax) is super steep for boba. I want to continue going here but I can't wait that long for a drink and pay $7 each time (that's like 2 drinks at T4). Ordered 3 drinks from here. 2 were their signature honey ones and the other was an oolong milk tea. The honey drinks were the same exact order; 25% sweetness with boba. My drink tasted like water. Like no tea flavor whatsoever. I tried my friend's drink (same order as mine), and there was at least some tea flavor in hers. The oolong milk tea had its taste. I don't know if they forgot the tea in mine at all?! I kept mixing it and took about 3-4 sips to see if it would change at all, haha. Still tasted like water. Didn't drink the rest of it. read more
