I heard they sold mochi donuts, so trekked over. They didn't have a lot of options. So after i paid, i asked what time they usually sell out. She told me the day of. I was a bit confused. She reiterated the day they get them. And they only get them Tuesday and Thursday. So...i essentially paid $7 for 3 super stale donuts. (I was there on Saturday). 1. Why would you even sell them if they are that old? 2. Why the he'll aren't they marked down if they are that old? And to top it off, i got 2 $6 boba drinks for my daughter and i, and neither of us could finish them . So disappointed that I didn't go to my usual (boba bliss). Got the hangover 3 shaved ice and it was tasty! The workers were super nice and I felt so bad for them. A person before us was a delivery driver giving the workers attitude bc his order is a little bit late. I couldn't stand up for the workers but that bald white guy was such an a**hole. He talked about how he's losing money bc the customer's food is late, I'm like sir your customer will tip you if they want to or not, not based on how fast you were you egg. He was just such an annoying man, those workers for damn sure don't get paid enough for that. And plus they're working during a pandemic, cut them some slack. Teaspoon is coming into a very saturated milk tea market in San Ramon. I'm glad they do stand out though. This place just opened, the store itself is very clean, very nice aesthetics. It feels really casual and seems like a great place to sit and relax or study. You have to bring something unique to the table to compete in this milk tea market, Teaspoon does that. I like their names for their drinks first and foremost, like "Liquid Gold," "Grasshopper," and "Virgin Mojito." It's already way more interesting than "Milk Tea with Boba." Their roasted Oolong tea has a beautifully deep roasted taste, it's very pronounce. The minty key lime jasmine tea in the Virgin Mojito is really pleasant and refreshing. It's like a crisp splashy kiss on the face. I've also had the Silky Mango and the Taro Lover. The Silky Mango is really creamy, but delicate, pretty much like a dessert. The Taro Lover is not very sweet, which is perfect for me, with the almost savory bits of the taro chunks sprinkled in it. I haven't had any of their food desserts yet, but I'm definitely interested in coming back and trying it. For a LONG time I was a ShareTea loyalist, and they are still pretty decent, but I guess I'm just bored of it. Also, iTea moved in across town near Dublin, and they're good too, but I think they're a little too sweet. I'm glad Teaspoon brings some new flavors into the area and I look forward to my next visit. read more

At this point have had the house milk tea, liquid gold and assam with the black sugar boba. House milk tea was good but other drinks were very watery, flavorless. Just had an incident at the store where I grabbed my order from the counter and bumped into a chair which hadn't been pushed in properly. This caused me to drop one of my drinks, which exploded. I know it's not the staff's fault but service courtesy goes a long way. She saw my incident and didn't offer to remake the drink, store wasn't even busy. Well, this is already one of our favorite boba drink places; but today it became the absolute first place after top-notch excellent out of this world customer service from Chloe! We accidentally dropped one of the drinks on the ground and broke it. When we went back to the store to buy another one, Chloe noticed and found out the reason, and automatically comped us an extra drink without hesitation. She was so pleasant the whole time. As a regular at this boba shop, I'm always excited to visit but unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived as the drinks were just okay and there was a noticeable reduction in the amount of boba they were adding. I mean, come on, I visit this place at least once every two weeks. I guess inflation hit the boba world too To add insult to injury, the drinks are usually $7 plus when you add in tips. For the price and the fact that I visit this place so frequently, I expect a drink overflowing with boba, not a measly handful. We placed an order online today. When we picked up our order, we realized that we had accidentally selected condensed milk when we didn't intend to. Totally our fault. I asked the woman working there if she would be willing to remake it. She did; however, the entire time she was complaining about us and it made us so uncomfortable. She even dramatically threw away our other drinks by smashing them into the trash can in front of other customers. We had young kids with us, and the whole experience was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. If she didn't want to remake our drinks, just say no, and I wouldn't even blame her since we made the mistake. I just don't know why she went through the trouble just to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. By the way, I ordered one drink at 50% sugar and it came out even sweeter than the other full sugar drink. We ended up throwing away both drinks since she probably poisoned them. read more

This new little spot in San Ramon is so cute and delicious. I came in during their soft opening and the staff was sweet and welcoming. They had two tea samples at the front before I ordered and they were delicious (their honey milk tea and a watermelon flavor) so refreshing! I came in an had the taro snow ice with boba and mochi. I shared it with my husband and it was the perfect amount, since we just came from dinner. Came here to treat my daughter and I was very happy with the customer service and friendliness of the entire staff here at Teaspoon. They were great with me and very accommodating in answering little kid questions and letting her sample different things to see what she liked best. Teaspoon is one of my favorite boba places. I love the variety and their unique drinks and flavors, which sets them apart from other Boba places. The servers are also really nice and the drinks are also good. We recently had Teaspoon cater at our wedding and it was such a great experience. I ordered the Violet Latte less sweet with less ice. Order was correct on the screen, however it was very sweet with a lot of ice. The wait was about 30 minutes because of low staff (they put up a sign and paused taking orders for a while). Not their fault and I'm not holding that against them, but you may want order ahead. I got to be the second person to order at this new location. I have been to the San Mateo one before and I really enjoyed it. I'm pretty excited about a new milk tea place coming to San Ramon. I decided to order a hot drink since it was cold out and I asked for 25% sugar and it was the perfect level of sweetness for me. I find that milk tea places tend to make their drinks super sweet so I was excited that this one was perfect level. I prefer boba guys more than them. boba guys charge $5.50 use quality ingredients (Straus milk). But Teaspoon charges $5.86 the milk are not even use organic milk.
