The only downside is parking. Downtown LB parking is always hit or miss. Overall, a really good taco spot with flavorful food and quick service. I'd definitely come back for the carne asada.

Super proud to be writing this review. My mom recently bought this restaurant off previous owners after working here 20+ years!!! I'm so proud of her. A totally non bias review, I grew up with my mom cooking all kinds of dishes & she's never missed not once. I think I can speak for anyone who has tried her food that it is amazing! This restaurant has been around for many years, i'm happy that we get to keep previous menu items that have been enjoyed by many throughout the years & continue to add on to that list! On their menus they advertised a cheaper price than what I was communicated with. They made up random numbers and took long pauses for each different thing I asked for. The hard-shell taco wasn't any better, and the mahi-mahi taco was just okay. It felt like a waste of money, especially since the prices are about the same as other taco places that serve much better food. Personally, I'd rather go to Hole Mole, Baja Sonora, Tacos Chapala, or even one of the street taco stands under the tents. Those places have much better flavor. Sadly, I won't be coming back

I got through a half a taco before I gave up. I took them home to eat for my next meal, but ended up throwing them away because they were so dry and un edible. I don't know what happened whether the owners have fallen on hard times or if they've had to sell. I know times are difficult these days. The meal was incredibly expensive for what it gave. It cost us $90 for four people having small items. I'm sorry to say I won't be back. It was really marvelous find as long as we enjoyed it. I hope nothing bad has happened to the family that owns us, but I can't eat that food. So sorry this happened.

Also, the fact the corn tortillas are handmade, thick and fresh was another positive. I know now, that one mulita will do..I will just have to figure out what meat to get. The chorizo is pieces from links, not ground chorizo. We really enjoyed this spot and will order again soon.
