I had my Prius repainted here through the Toyota white paint recall program. The team got the job done quickly, and initially I was genuinely very happy with the results. The paint looked flawless when I first got the car back, and the overall process was smooth and professional. Unfortunately, it has not even been a year, and the clear coat has already started losing its shine noticeably. I'm very careful with my car and with how I wash it. The car is parked outside, but even my 15-year-old Corolla and my friend's 4-year-old Corolla, both with OEM paint and parked outside as well, still hold more shine than this repaint, which has been disappointing to see. You can also tell the paint feels relatively thin and soft compared to factory paint. I really wanted to love the long-term results because the finish looked beautiful at first. Avoid this place at all costs. After I was in an accident, the dealership recommended I take it to this body shop because they were "reputable". The bumper part needed for my car was on back order and I left a $200 deposit. I called every few weeks to get an update and my parts never came? They claimed they called me but after I asked my phone provider for records, surprise surprise they never called me! After I asked for a refund (a year after my accident) on my deposit they said they couldn't it was "so long ago" and the person over the phone yelled at me and asked me what i'd like for him to do about it! I called at least once a month for that entire year and now it's too late for a refund? Stay FAR AWAY from this horrible body shop; I not only had to deal with an accident but a horrible experience with Tech Center Collision. read more

A gentleman named Sergio took over my case and got things done with concern, politeness', and respect. I often thought about writing an update stating that Sergio was great and made my car repair a priority. Unfortunately, I just received this response from one of the owners. I did not appreciate his passive aggressive response alluding to untruths in my original review. I wrote a review that is factual and true. I wanted to warn other hard working folks so they do not receive the same treatment as I did resulting in monetary hardship. Yet this person says it was slander. This is my updated review. My initial review was a 2-star review due to poor workmanship and even worse communication. I had brought my car in for warranty paint repair, and although the paintwork was great, they left my car with half a dozen non-related problems that wouldn't have happened had they been more careful and thorough. To make matters worse, my requests for repair were only initially acknowledged, then followed by silence. After the publishing of my initial review, I was reached out to by Toyota of Orange as well as the shop performing the repairs: Tech Center Collision. I am awarding them a 5-star review because in exchange for the sub-par craftsmanship and even lower customer service, Tech Center Collision took it upon themselves to make it right. They not only addressed the initial problems my vehicle came in with but also performed additional repairs on both my and my mother's vehicles. They could have simply repaired the mistakes they created and called it a day, but in the interest of having a satisfied customer, they went above and beyond. While it took a few iterations, my car has now received the service it was initially brought in for. All workmanship-related problems have been repaired, and I even left with a few bonus repairs as well. Throughout the process, John, a representative from Tech Center Collision, consistently provided me with ETAs on the parts, shared photos of the repairs in progress, and arranged for a rental car each time my vehicle was brought in. I also have to hand it to the owner of the company, Armando, whose response to my review was remarkably level-headed for someone having received a scathing review of their company. He profusely apologized for the service and quality of work that I had received and assured me that he would work with his team to make this right as well as address the underlying issues so that this does not happen again. Good choice on letting ChatGPT proofread your response! At the end of the day, they worked on my car a total of four times, but in the end, I walked out feeling like a satisfied customer. I needed minor repairs to my Toyota Highlander and this business was recommended from my dealer because they are Certified Toyota Repair Center. I spoke with John Mittskus over the phone, then brought the car in to the shop. I had the vehicle inspected by Mr. Mittskus who, then took down my information, made copies of my paperwork and said he would call me once he contacted the insurance. Several days passed and I never heard from him. I emailed and texted him and he never responded. I contacted the insurance to see if they had received an estimate from them and was told nothing had been submitted, FRUSTRATING. When I finally got a hold Mr. Mittskus, he had no idea who I was and could not even find my information in the system. He kept saying he was having problems with the computer? VERY unprofessional. The only reason they do it is because they general manager is buddies with the other manager. 6 MONTHS THEY HAVE HAD OUR CAR. Always next week or the dealer is causing us to be behind.
