This place sets an example for all businesses to follow, Truly amazed by the customer service…read more Nadira was very prompt and accurate when providing my quote and communications during the repair process. Service was a in house rebuild on a 2006 F150 transmission. Mike takes care of the rebuilds and his expertise shows. Oh I guess now is a good time to mention that this vehicle has 439,000 plus miles on it. And the transmission had never been touched as far as repairs, just fluid and filter changes when I remembered they were due. They stand behind the work and do understand the customers needs. Had a slight issue after picking the truck up that was promptly addressed even though it was actually not related to the rebuild. My shift cable was so old that it would not retain adjustment. It was 20 years old at least. Mike found the issue and actually walked me out so I could see what was happening. Part was ordered, wrong part was shipped over to there shop twice due to it not matching the vin number. When they found the part number after removal. Nadira actually ran and picked it up to help expedite the repair. Mike took care of the labor to install and I just paid for the cable. They didn't have to do this, this was above and beyond since this was not related to the actual work preformed or quoted. Transmission has about 350 miles on it now and wow its working way better than I could have dreamed of shifts are on point and smoother than I would have ever dreamed off. Way to go, This shop is on my highly recommend list and I will be taking all my business here if the need ever arises. Shop has my vote for business of the year, way to go to the whole crew involved. Thanks Again--

Told me to come in to check it out and Mike went out to diagnose the issue and he advised it's not a trans issue, but an electrical issue based on the codes that were coming up. He suggested I find a place specializing in electrical. They didn't try to nickel and dime me and charge an inspection fee. For a Saturday they were pretty busy and the parking lot was full. Based on this one experience, will plan to bring our vehicles here when the need arises and will update the review accordingly. Thanks Mike...

I cannot say enough great things about Crawford's Auto Repair!…read moreI brought my truck in thinking I had a suspension issue because of a squeaky noise that had been getting worse. They got me in quickly, were incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in, and took the time to thoroughly check everything out. It turned out to be something as simple as a loose spare tire, something that could have easily been misdiagnosed elsewhere. What really stood out to me is that they fixed the issue right then and there and didn't charge me anything. That level of honesty and integrity is rare these days. As a woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating trying to find an auto shop you can truly trust. At Crawford's, I felt completely comfortable, respected, and confident that I was being treated fairly, no upselling, no pressure, just genuine help. They've absolutely earned my trust, and I will be coming back for any future car needs. If you're looking for a shop that is honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about their customers, this is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend!

Was told over the phone today by Ken the Service Manager that they don't match or beat prices,…read morewhich is false advertisement, he said that was something that the marketing folks put on their website but they don't honor it. He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!!

My car was a problem child and it took a lot longer then Normal the team here did not give up they kept us in the loop and took care of us at the end of the day! He had a mix of defensiveness , liability avoidance , and not a real diagnosis. He test drove my truck hard to avoid reproducing the problem, he asked me 3 times if I'm a mechanic and if I can work on transmissions, he was trying to size up liability risk. He handled it poorly. My transmission has a hard1+2 shift handles under normal /light throttle . He should've driven the way I described and knowledged the symptom right away. Instead he tried to dismiss it under heavy throttle (bad test method) then backed out once he knew I've been working on it. My truck drives fine on highway speeds, has no slipping, no burnt fluid or metal, issue is isolated to shift timing/pressure. That strongly supports valve body/hydraulic issue, not a full transmission failure. Bottom line he handled it poorly. I wasn't asking for a rebuild, just a diagnosis . Felt like they didn't want to deal with anything that required real trouble shooting.

I'm a non confrontationl person and left without causing a seen. I called and went in again and was turned down again. All I asked them to do was refund a portion of my money $410.50 I know they have to make a living as well that's why I'm only asking for half my money back I believe that's fair! He stated to bring the car in, and based on the time, he could let me know what is going on by the end of the day. I stated that I could have it there by 1p. I was there at 12:30p. Emeral started that he would give me a call before the end of the day. No call from the shop on Monday or Tuesday morning. I called Emeral around 5pm on Tuesday. He stated that they were putting things together and would call me within the next 15-30 mins. Again, I was lied to.  No call.  Wednesday at 10:30a, Emeral called to state that he was waiting on a quote for a part and he would call me as soon as he received it. I stated that he told me that he would call me on Monday and yesterday (Tuesday), and the calls never came. I told him that it was poor customer service to make promises that he wouldn't keep and to have someone's car for that long without updates on what is going on. I advised that if I hadn't called on Tuesday, he would not have called me, and I still don't know what the issue is with my car. Emeral stated, "Yes, if you hadn't called on yesterday, I would not have called you." I state it's bad business to not keep your word. Emeral stated, "What did it matter?" He was not having that conversation with me.  I asked for the total of what was owed. He stated $0 at this time. I advised that I'd be there to pick up the car. On Wednesday afternoon, I went to pick up my car. Emeral stated the conversation by apologizing.  He stated that he felt bad at the end of the call. He proceeded to tell me the diagnosis, which, according to him, was not the transmission. I remained silent. If the shop specializes in transmissions and they were standing behind previous repairs, why did he not call and state that on Monday? Emeral stated that he would call me within the next 30 minutes with a quote for repairs. Unsurprisingly, the call did not come. We all have lives; jobs and responsibilities, and they all require some form of transportation. Most of us take pride in our automobiles and misses them when they are not available to us.  For a mechanic to have a car for greater than two days without a follow-up call as promised is unacceptable.  I'm applauded at the lack of customer service that is rendered here. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, find a repair shop that treats customers with respect and whose word is bond. If you don't care about those things, then this is your place.

Oil on the driveway. Ugh…read more Called some friends to get a recommendation for a local shop. One said that Scott from Sunland was the guy. We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

I am learning I can't believe artificially inflated reviews on Yelp - because of these positive…read morereviews, I've been going to Sunland for years. I realized that outside of the most basic work (like breaks, fluids or shock changes), they are not the place to go. When I have issues and take a car in, I leave with the very same issues, but I think they are taken care of. I have multiple cars now which fall into this category. The most recent is a Ford Expedition with a leak. $1500 into the work, the original problem was not solved. In fact, I now have a quote for $1900 for the remainder - when I asked why the problem wasn't solved it was 'oh we misdiagnosed it and you "Approved" the work'. They do not stand behind their misdiagnosis. I have not had this issue elsewhere- dealerships or other big-box repair shops. Another situation - I went in for a check engine light; they replaced a spark plug. The same thing is still occurring even now after my car has had all of its spark plugs changed, and I personally found a broken air hose in the engine and fixed it myself. They went with the computer code but never actually diagnosed the problem. I'm not driving rare cars. When I reflect back on previous cars I've had issues with, the same pattern occurs - I take it in, the problem is not fixed, I am quoted a large estimate, I buy another car - the savings I perceived to have were never worth it. Consider this when you go in.
