I could not say enough good things about the service we received. We had a flat tire on the side of the highway and when they showed up they were quick and knowledgeable. We were starting a multi-day road trip with a moving truck and they not only fixed the issue but checked the rest of our tires too. We had been waiting a few hours and the serviceman offered to run to the nearest gas station to get us water or anything else we needed before hitting the road again. And to top off their complete service, the shop called the next day to make sure we were still doing okay after everything the day prior. Dec.3, 2024, while driving down Cheyenne on my way home the screws/bolts that hold on the brake calipers fell off and the calipers were dangerously hanging and about to fall off. Mid Oct dashboard engine light on. I had Independent diagnosis done. The result was Code P0442 small leak in EVAP System . Went to Ted Wiens-Cheyenne on 10/28 for eval; that lead to removal and replacement of EVAP Control Canister resulting in final cost $1298.03 which includes surcharge of $37.81/credit card fee? Left there and within a week or two engine light was back on. It was then I made a close review of paid Invoice. There was a note in small print: Diag Code P0447 medium leak in EVAC Emission Sys (bad & urgent). Recommend remove and replace Charcoal Canister Assembly. I became curious now that Chris did not flag this urgent situation while I was there on 10/29. I paid and left Ted Wiens thinking my car was all fixed. By 12/8, I was back at Ted Wiens with dashboard engine light on again. This time their diagnostic Code was P0442 small leaks in Purge Valve Assembly. Recommendation was to replace Canister Purge Regulator. Est. Cost $743.82 including labor. Now I am wondering why this was not found initially as it obviously existed on 10/28. It's the same code that resulted from the independent diagnostic I had done in October. Also wondering what further damage was done by me driving around thinking my car was okay. Now I have a trust issue. Obviously my car needs more work but I don't feel comfortable taking it back to Ted Wiens Cheyenne location. I am not an auto technician and it cannot be assumed that I, like a lot of people and particularly a senior like myself, understand the intricacies of an EVAP Emissions System. Repairs made should be explained thoroughly when the Invoice is paid. And by all means if an urgent or safety situation exists it should be pointed out. Beverly G. I took my 2018 Audi to Ted Wiens on Cheyenne for a 4 wheel alignment this week, and couldn't be happier. They completed the alignment and found no problems with any of the suspension parts, even though the Audi dealer told me last year that I needed to have the upper control arms replaced because the bushings were cracked, for a cost of $1,800. The Ted Wiens service writer explained to me that most bushings show small cracks but as long as the car can be aligned, there is no need for replacement. It is hard to find such honesty these days, so they will be getting most of my car service business. read more

My tire light when on my dash while I was on Summerlin, but no gas stations had any working air pumps so I stopped by here. The staff is friendly and helpful. David has been there like forever and has always been honest with me. The tech checked out my tires and there were no nails in it, so they added it took away some air to make the tires even? Then they reset the light sensors and I was on my way back on the 95 Southbound. I was in and out in about 30 minutes at the shop. As I was on the freeway, my light came back on! Worried and confused I made the decision to go my dealership for further inspection. Again, no nails or tears, checked the air pressures and did a hard reset on the sensor. From my understanding, sometimes shops will check 1 to 3 times to truly make sure the light is not tripping because it's too sensitive or malfunctioning, but I don't know. Either way, I was assured enough they really checked things out because I was able to get to another shop safely. read more

I needed to post this as I will never return to this service provider. I'm newer to the area and brought my car into them for a standard ooo change and tire rotation. Took them only about 10 min to look over the car and send me an estimate for all these additional services. When I went over to speak to the Sales guy and we went over everything that was on the estimate never once was my oil change mentioned. When I questioned him about the cost, he said well why would we put it on the estimate? That's why you came in here. He then proceeds to tell me that they refuse to rotate my tires because my tires were from 2018 and they're in good shape. So I said to him they're in good shape because I work from home and I rotate them consistently. Why do I feel like I'm being penalized for keeping my tires in good condition? He said they are refusing to rotate them because of the fact that they're over five years old. So of course I questioned and said, but if I don't rotate them, they're gonna wear the tires out correct and he said yes, but they still refuse to rotate them. I wasn't going to argue with him so I just said fine. Just do the oil change. He checks me out and he tries to charge me $113 for an oil change because they use synthetic oil. i've owned this car since 2016. I get oil changes regularly. I have never ever been charged that much for an oil change and when I questioned him, he said well that's what the cost is for that type of service. I said well you should've told me what my options are of the different oil changes I can do, but that did not happen. He instantly offered me 50% off, which I took so I could get out of there. He was rude. He was condescending. I would think twice about ever using their services for even your most basic needs. He was happy to give me two quotes for brand new tires, which I was already told I didn't need but because I'm not gonna have them rotated there he figured they're gonna wear down and I'd come back for tires, which is not going to happen. read more

Typical story, my car began making odd noises, then so did I, because I cannot find a mechanic that delivers honest value and service. So, I tried Ted. From the start, I worked with Chris, who was pleasant and accommodating. When the diagnostic was done, it was my power steering pump. I figured that was it, so I had already shopped for parts. I told Chris that I found a replacement pump for less money and, could I just bring my own part. He didn't even blink; "Sure, that's fine...". Got the part, dropped of the car. It was done in just a couple of hours, good as new. One thing I wish happened, when I dropped it off, the "check engine" light was on (I thought it was related to the current problem, but it wasn't). It would have been great to have been given a breakdown of what else was going on with my car, and estimates for those repairs. Update ; My money was refunded It appears my muffler was cut in half !!!not sure where but zip zap auto had my car the week prior for an oil change . ************************** I had my car towed in to this location yesterday as the previous night while driving it had all of a sudden made a loud clacking noise sort of a grinding noise like a loud fan clacking it was very loud when it first happened then it went away but now the engine sound very different than usual . My car was diagnosed with problems I already knew I had and , oil leak , struts etc and the main issue was not fixed . I left with a car that sounds like it has headers on it and is very loud and the fan or something is ticking extremely different . This is normally a quiet standard Honda that is very well maintained . They said they test drove it and could not hear the issue . The car obviously has sone oxygen mix issue or exhaust manifold leak or needs an 02 sensor or the catalytic converter is damaged or needs a muffler . I googled why car is loud all of a sudden those are the results . I paid $ 190.00 for a diagnosis and I drove away with the same problem I had when I had the car towed in . I can't believe this and I was in tears driving home . Honda civics are quiet cars you can tell it has a problem the minute you start it up . I am in shock this was undiagnosed and my car is still not fixed and I can have a serious engine issue and they couldn't tell me what was wrong . He called and emailed pictures of what they found . He quoted me a price that was more than fair. They called the next day and said they were waiting on a piece from the dealership to finish. Do Not Take Your Auto Here For Any Reason!! DO NOT SIGN UP FIR THEIR CREDIT CARD OPTION! I don't even know where to start! I opted for the credit card option to pay my bill of $1,400 (for brakes only). I paid monthly on time to avoid fees. My second payment was on time as I mailed it very early. I truly believe they intentionally did not debit my account on time, as there was a FEE! I called and talked to Jeremy, and each call ( there were several calls), he promised to fix this issue. The next month arrives and Jeremy is surprised it was not fixed. I have sent him invoices on 2 or 3 occasions for his review. He comes off very sincere by phone, promises "this will be handled and apologizes profusely. Last month, January, 2025, we talked by phone again, and he told me that he would have "the company handle it" and essentially told me it was all taken care of. I thank him and that was that. Today, Feb. 18, 2025, I receive another invoice stating I know owe $40+!! I call Ted Weins Auto, again, to speak to Jeremy, and my call goes straight to voicemail?? No surprise because it has all been a lie from the start. I drive over there and Chris, the guy who answers the phone says "Jeremy isn't here, and I'm the guy you hate"! I said, "yep"! He is the guy who talked me into this mess in the first place....bad news and has an attitude. I dropped off the bill and wrote on it stating I was not paying! The bill after paying off is NOW up to $40+!! I wrote a nice note when they did spark plugs bc my brake job was $1400. Do not get any repairs done there, as VERY EXPENSIVE!! Chris was at the front and I took pictures of the invoice and what I had written on it. I also took a picture of him receiving my invoice, and the building from the parking lot! So now, I have the previous photos of what Jeremy asked me to send, and photos of being there today! This should NEVER happen to any patron. Please go elsewhere for your auto needs! read more

I'm of two minds about this location. Initially, my experience was super positive, I had made a last minute call to get a late night flat fixed. The service provider said that since the tire was already off of the car, it would be east to swap it out for a new one, that I could bring it over, they'd replace it when they had time, and call me that evening so that they could put it back on the vehicle. So I brought the fire over and told them that I had also put in a service request online, just in case, so they could cancel that. The issue is that they never called. I tried calling that evening, but by the time I called, the location must have been closed. This really stressed me out because I had to work in the morning the next day and I didn't trust my donut to hold up for the commute. So I called the next day, shortly after opening. No response. This increased my agitation, so I just decided to drive to the shop and see what was going on. When I arrived, I explained it and the technician that I spoke to, Damien, acted as if there was nothing wrong and offered no apology for the lack of communication. Don't tell your guests to expect communication and not follow through. That doesn't build quality rapport. In the end, the tire got replaced and I made it to work in time, which I'm grateful for, but the lack of communication will prevent me from coming back in the future. read more
