Portia is amazing. She is very professional and personable. I brought my 91 Cavalier in for an Alignment, and the first time, they brought my car in and i received a call that they were unable to complete it. The initial mechanic wasn't experienced enough to complete an alignment on my car and misdiagnosed that I have a leaking rack unit. After confirming this was not true myself, I called again and Portia got me scheduled with one of her experts to complete my alginment. After dropping my car off at 9am, I got a call back at 7 PM (After hours) that they have finished and its ready for pickup. Portia made sure her guys had full attention on my car and made sure it got done. They did a good job too I will say. For $150 and a 1 year warranty, this was worth it, and Portia made me feel more comfortable with the choice. Removed one star because of the first wasted day, and a slightly long turn around time for the second day, but other than that, I will definitely bring my car back for these types of services again. A technician named Aldo, at the Firestone Complete Auto Care Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas NV location inspected my car, which I suspected needed a new starter. He quoted me a whopping $1,130 to replace the starter and asked me to leave the car for the day and into the next. I got a bad feeling and walked out of the store. Confirming later that supply of the part, and installation of a starter in my vehicle costs less than $500, I don't have much trust or respect for this company, or the people representing them and working there. read more

I brought my blazer in for a popping noise because my shims had fallen out of the control arm. The tech inspected the car and checked the alignment. He said the popping noise was not the control arm and that the shims didn't need to be put back in. Fast forward a couple of weeks. My control arm is now popping like crazy and needs to be replaced. Mind you I had both replaced at the same time a couple years back and the left one is perfectly fine. I call the store. Their lead answers I explained to her she literally said they did a free inspection for me before passing me off to the manager. I explain to the manager, he asked what I want done and I asked for my control arm to be repaired because the tech said it was fine and said it didn't need the shims put back in and now it's messed up. That I had replaced it not too long ago and didn't want to pay for it to be replaced again. The manager said he would give me a free inspection that the guy apparently did not do any paperwork of inspecting it. On camera I was under my car with him for 10-15 minutes checking everything out. The manager said "you could've been talking about anything". Yes he is pointing at parts and has his flashlight on things and we're talking about sports or something? Seriously? I told the manager that and he just kept saying there was no proof even though his lead literally just said the guy did a free inspection. He kept blaming the last shop, part quality, etc. he would not listen to me. He kept trying to manipulate me and gaslit me. He laughed that I didn't know his name to report him to corporate. He asked if I knew the techs name I said no and he laughed again and I was like "you can't look up who did the alignment on your end?" He said "oh yeah I can" then changed the subject again. Shims fall out sometimes. The fact is the tech said the popping had nothing to do with my shims and my control arm was fine. He didn't put the shims back in now it's trashed and needs to be replaced. I've come to this Firestone for years to get my car aligned and some other work. Never once have I been treated so poorly, laughed at, gaslit, dismissed and ignored. Oh and then the guy literally just hung up on me when I wouldn't back down. $180 for an hour of labor for this type of treatment? Don't waste your time. Go elsewhere I will never go here again and will be telling my car groups to stay away from this company. read more

Just paid over $2000.00 to get two tires and brakes. Also ,needed to have a headlight replaced. They said the car will be ready later in the day ( had appointment at 7:00am) of course the car wasn't ready until the day after... costing us 3 Uber rides. The next day we noticed the headlight was never replaced ( they charged almost $200.00 just for that) So we have to bring the car back after they had it for two days. I wound up with a flat tire on Memorial Day. It was well beyond repair. After AAA got the spare on, this was the first location that I could find open on a holiday. I was greeted and waited instantly. They agreed my tire was beyond repair. I left for lunch and returned to have the new tire put on. It was all complete within 30 minutes, including getting rid of the bad tire and putting my spare back. Great customer service, and I will be back! read more

I have completely trusted the advisors at this location when I lived here 4 years ago. I was happy to come back for service now that I am living here again. I came in for an oil change and related vehicle checks. I was told that I need a system fuel cleaning and a new battery. My battery is less than 2 years old and I always use a commercially made fuel system cleaner. I don't appreciate being 'upsold' for things that I know I don't need. The only exception was not satisfied is the price of $119.00 rather than $99.00 due to the information from the customer service provider while scheduling appointments on the phone. I hope the service provider provided the information accurately than scamming the price in front of the customers for tips or commission. Nothing I love more than wasting time at Firestone on a Saturday morning. On Friday I scheduled an appointment at 7am for Saturday using the app, I get an email hours later saying appointment rescheduled for 8am. Cool no big deal. I have places to be at 9:30am, my vehicle hasn't moved in an hour. Told the manager I'll have to cancel all this and go somewhere else another time. The manager was very kind, apologetic, and professional. I understand being busy. I understand there is every excuse in the book. Got new tires installed on my 2021 Tacoma from discount tires and went to Firestone for an alignment. I got informed that the tires had radial pull and I had to return them to the discount tires where I bought them, for a replacement. After a back and forth, got completely new tires from the original store. Firestone aligned my vehicle and got it driving straight again. I forgot the name of the person who helped me, but he assured me he would have his best alignment tech work on my truck to get my alignment perfect again. It's always disheartening to get new tires and get new problems but Firestone got me right. Thank you again. read more

My second time, last week - I bought a set of tires, took half a day to have them mounted and balanced. I had one tire blow out and feel they didn't stand by their work. One day while driving to work, my tire pressure light came on so I pulled over to get some air. Well, it turns out I had a nail in 1 of my tires so I stopped by this Firestone since it was the nearest shop. They told me they were super swamped but could work on it if I left the car for approx 2 hours. I said no I have to get to work soon and asked if I could make an appointment for later in the day. They gave me a 2 pm appointment so off I went. I returned at 2 pm to drop my car off and told them to take their time because I was going next door to eat lunch while they worked on my tire. I came back about 45 min later and sat down in the waiting room. About 5 min later my car was ready. Wow that was surprisingly fast! This place is awesome and my tire has held up great ever since despite the fast service. I'd suggest making an appointment before coming if at all possible since they seem super busy! read more

I've been coming here for years, since 2011 this is my 3rd car I've been bringing here, I've always had great service especially once Henry became the manager here & William. They always would show me their concerns & things they'd say needed to be fixed & I always felt reassured since they would physically show me & also spoke in layman's terms so I'd understand. I've also been an Uber driver for almost 5 years so I was here frequently getting my car serviced. I came in on May 13, 2021 & a guy I've never seen before was here named Patrick I told him I saw a nail in my back right tire & my psi went down from 38 to 28 overnight he told me to pull up in front of bay #1, I went out & pulled the car up he said no nothing is in your tire of course knowing what I saw I said if I pull up can you look again, he said fine I'll look again , he comes back there's a nail in your tire. He told the Tech Joel to change my tire out in the sun no need to pull it in, I was pretty upset by the treatment to Joel as it was really hot outside. I go inside after finding my wheel lock key for Joel & go inside. Patrick found me in the system & quoted me $135.00 for my tire & I mentioned I just got new tires right before the pandemic & I know they're warranted up to 70k miles, Patrick was very narcissistic saying well when? Where are your receipts? The last time you bought tires here was 2016 while getting quite loud! I said sir you might be overlooking something because I have almost 200k miles on my car & I started ubering in 2016, I don't know a whole lot about cars but that doesn't even sound right how on earth could I have the same set of tires for 5 years with almost 200k miles ‍‍ My eyes got huge like what is going on, I went on out to my car to see if it was documented in my small notebook I keep in the car & it wasn't but I do keep all my receipts for tax purposes. I came back inside & said well it's not in my notebook, so I said alright well I need the tire. Patrick then said $190..... I just looked at him & calmly said sir you just said $135, I even said maybe because I'm a woman you're trying to get one over in me but this isn't ok. He said oh yeah well how about this, he walked out told Joel to drop my car & roll it out & im 86'd from the store. My eyes got big again with confusion as he said you clearly don't know how to handle yourself in public & don't know how to conduct business so go find another business that'll put up with your BS!! My eyes started to well up with tears & Patrick said what you're going to cry now for not getting your way? I walked out to my car holding it together & Joel asked if I was ok as a tear rolled down my face, had nothing to do with getting my way I just needed a new tire & even when Patrick told me I didn't have warranty anymore I said ok with paying for it, I needed a new tire & he hiked up the price. Joel called the store manager from his phone to see if he could swap out my tire that had the nail for a reliable spare tire I've had in my trunk in case of emergencies. Store manager said it was ok & Joel swapped out the tire & apologized & suggested I call HR because the way Patrick treated me even in front of him wasn't acceptable. I did call HR put in a complaint but haven't heard back either, the kind lady asked if I wanted to hear from the store manager or the area manager & I said the area manager she told me his name is Andrew, still 10 days later still no call ‍. I won't come to this store while Patrick is here as he is very rude, condescending & trying to take advantage of people because I don't want to assume he's only done this to me because it came so naturally to talk down to me as if I'm stupid. I'm sure he does this to everyone & no one complains. Unsure how he's the service manager but I'm unsure how he even has a job, no people skills what do ever. I took it back 6/25/21 was told no oil leak by the gentleman that checks you in but he said he cleaned everything and I should be good. This morning garage floor again full of oil. While I appreciate the phone calls rescheduling my original appointment on Mon. Feb. 20th because of staffing issues, however, I am disappointed when I scheduled another appointment in person only to be told it wasn't in the system. Below is the timeline of events. * Sun. Feb. 19th at 5:19pm - Received a phone call stating the technician will be out on Monday and rescheduled for Wed. Feb. 22nd. * Tues. Feb. 21st at 5:28pm - Receive a message stating the technician will be out all week and call back to reschedule. * Tues. Feb. 28th at 7:15am - Walked into Firestone and asked the person at the counter if the technician was back since he was out last week and was told he is working. I asked when the next available appointment for the diagnostic since my previous appointment was rescheduled and cancelled due because the technician was out. He checked the system and scheduled an appointment for Wed. Mar. 1st at 8am. * Wed. Mar. 1st at 7:10am - I arrived to drop off my vehicle and the person at the counter said he didn't see my appointment and the technician is backed up until next Mon. 6th. I couldn't believe my appointment wasn't in the system and suddenly hear the technician was backed up until next week was frustrating. I will say Shane(?) was professional and searched the system in trying to assist so this review is no reflection on him. My rating is because of the follow-up phone calls rescheduling my original appointment was appreciated. Also, I realize there are staffing level issues and understand the need to reschedule or cancel appointments. But when you are given a date and time for your appointment when dropping off the vehicle only to find out there is no appointment in the system, it was disappointing. Then I was told the technician is backed up until next week and this is where they really fell short. It would be great if Firestone would implement a texting system where a customer would receive a text message confirming their appointment. read more

I took my Tacoma here for oil change and service. I did appreciate there customer attention and was content. I recommended this place to my girlfriend and that was a mistake. She also came in for service and some how got into some other item needing attention. With an appointment and 4 hours later she was out. On the way going to OC on the 15 there was some loud scary noise. Not knowing what to expect, luckily no accident occurred we pull out of the highway. The simple ness of the oil metal pan cover came off. The technician mention it was not closed up correctly. I hope the manager and service team understand you have a job and you failed at your job to complete a service that was not done correctly. I will never come back here and never recommend this location. PS, while waiting for my service there was a gentleman who also came in to complain about something he got there and done correct. Not sure for what thought. There value of quality of work failed. read more

I based my previous review based on the affable experiences from Eric the manager. However, I seriously believe there's been some serious foul play dealing with my vehicle. Went to get all my rotors and brakes replaced. Spent over thousand dollars. But ever since then, I started having misfires and jerkings on my vehicle and other noticeable things like constant tapping sound happening. Took it back numerous times and they couldn't figure it out. Instead of trying to have me get a second opinion from another firestone, Eric tells me to go to ammco cause it's a transmission issue. So I decided to make an appointment in another firestone on Durango and spoke with the manager and master tech from there and they made it clear its def not transmission. Spent 700 bucks there for a tune up cause they said that should take care of it but the car keeps jerking and misfiring still. Atleast they were honest from the beginning though and doesn't lie about when the work will be done or not. The Rock Springs location is short staffed and they don't have qualified techs there. They're limited in what they can do. The issue is that Eric or a manager will say one thing and when you call back you're getting another story from somebody else. They will try to get you for your business but a lot of dishonesty and shady stuff will happen. You'll be told your car will be done by next day, or you have an appointment set, and when you try to call or verfiy your appointment, another tech or manager will say you wont get your car back for over a week or that their "diagnostic" guy is on vacation for a week. Don't expect proper care of your vehicle if you're going there for something other than tires. Especially if it's dealing with a newer technologically advanced vehicle. And even dealing with tires, I recommend you take it to the Durango location. One of the manager at Durango even said that they have to take in vehicles that the rock springs location screws up on. And when you submit a complaint, don't expect this Andrew guy to call you. They say that you'll get a call in 48 hours but don't hold your breath. If you don't want shady stuff happening to your vehicle, your time, your money, just don't go to Rock Springs Firestone. I've lost so much money, time, and now still since August dealing with my vehicle that they did something to. And if you are going to take it to any firestone, I recommend the one off Durango. Atleast they will be transparent and seem more honest with more capable techs. read more

This is NOT the first time I have had to deal with the issue of "my car being too low." I simply requested for my serpentine belt and an oil change to be serviced and Shane refused me AGAIN. I understand that my car on lowering springs barely clears the wheel base but when I see corvettes and all these other lowers cars being serviced and I'm turned away is simply annoying. I have been going to this location since I bought my car and my family comes as well for their car maintenance. I have service records of previous oil changes and even past repairs such as my camshaft sensor being fixed while my car is lowered to not to mention. Those have always been done with Eric but never once has Shane bothered. All around a great and funny guy who always makes sure my car is up to speed. He values his customers and is solely the reason I still go... I just wish Shane wouldn't be so fast to turn people away because it leaves a bad rep, but beats me. It's only ever been with him not wanting to service my car due to it being lowered. He Didn't even let me get to say what I wanted to before being pushed away. Eric is the way to go if you need anything done at this Firestone. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could!!! Everytime I've been at this location I've had a 3 - 4 hour wait. I had an appointment, been waiting 3hours and 42 mins for service. I asked the front desk manager, " how much longer will my wait be?" He said the "tire guy" is on lunch!!! I'm here because after spending $500 plus on 2 tires 3 months ago... I found out the tires are bad and causing major vibrating when my RDX goes over 40mph~. So my visit was because of their mistakes!!! 3hours and 43mins later my car still haven't been seen. I HATE BigO tires and especially this Rock Spring location. Bad service! Unprofessional! FYI: being short staffed is NOT an excuse for poor service. Figured I'd follow up on this. Still a great place! They pulled me up and saw that I had been bringing the car there since 2015. Not saying that it's all been good. There had been days when either they were understaffed, or had misspoken on ETAs of when my car has been done. But they always take the time to take care of me. Maybe it's because I go there all the time, but still, as it stands right now, they've got a customer for life at that location. My advice: schedule an appointment. They're so busy that if you take your car in pm the fly, odds are you're going to be in for a wait, or they may ask you to come back later. But I have seen them take people lickity-split if it is slow, to help them out. Gonna be frank too, from my own perspective; if you're a dick, you wait. I've seen douches come in asking for tire alignments and them telling them that it'll be a wait because there are customers there before them, and those dudes get up in arms thinking that it's a simple process, or that their time is worth more. Or bitches who come in and ask what's wrong with their car, and they explain that it'll be $10 bucks... $10, whole dollars, to inspect the car, which they can waive if there needs to be a fix that they opt for... and they just lose their minds going "I'm not paying you $10 bucks for you to tell my car is broke"... even after they explain it's to narrow down what the problem is. Man... I've seen a lot of people who come in and act like ignorant a-holes, and they storm out of there or make a scene. Don't be a dick, be a reasonable, practical ADULT, and they take care of you. I didn't agree so I took my car to Superior Tire services and they told me I just needed my oils changed and timing belt changed. I called to speak to the manager and he's a douce bag!!! I called them first thing in the morning asking if they could do a routine maintenance procedure on my vehicle ASAP as I was on a road trip with a tight timeline. They said yes we can get on it as soon as you bring your vehicle in. I brought it in immediately and when I got there they said it would be almost 2 hours. The guy just shrugged when I said what about it I just talk to you and you said you could do it immediately. If I could give 0 stars I would! I took my car in in perfect running condition for just an oil change. After I left I went home, later that day I went to pick my son up from school and my car started making a horrible screeching sound and shaking hard when idling. I took it back and they told me they put the wrong oil in the car. It was putting out codes for oil viscosity and nothing else. After changing the oil twice more and the tech telling me he couldn't hear the screeching I asked them to run the codes again. Sure enough it's producing every code signifying a catastrophic engine failure!!! No one was empathetic, they don't give a crap. Acted like it was no big deal, I'm not going to throw a fit in the store or cuss at anyone because that won't help but I did call corporate and file a claim. If I don't hear news by Wednesday I will be getting a lawyer! If I could get in touch with their district manager or regional manager I would because something needs to be done ASAP. I went in Wednesday Aug. 9 around 4pm. Shane Yogi was the manager and he is 100% the reason I will NEVER use this or any other Firestone for any service going forward. I was getting new tires and a vehicle inspection. I came in to discuss what services were suggested on my car. He was confrontational from the start and seemed like I was inconveniencing him with my questions. I just wanted to pay for the tires and choose another Firestone at this point, for his rudeness. When going to pay, the price was not the agreed upon price that was approved when I talked to Eric, the store manager, the day before. I guess there were no notes on my account that proved this and Eric was not in the shop. Shane said that I would have to deal with Eric the next day when he got back. I needed my car that night, so coming back the next day wasn't ideal. I was obviously frustrated by this and their lack of coordination/communication . Anytime I was talking, Shane was talking over me and at one point he clapped his hands in my face and told me, "not to interrupt him!" It was extremely unprofessional, and unacceptable. I will not be treated like this from your Firestone employees. You lost a customer for life! I resolved the issue with Eric the next day but not before he tried to blame me for the mix up on prices. I hope this prevents anybody else from being treated like that. read more
