I'll just say do nothing more than maybe an oil change and getting new tires. It's especially better if besides with an online coupon to save and put towards the service, it's maybe a good thing when offered a way to possibly make the oil change free of charge; forgot what i did back in the Thanksgiving weekend to get zero charge. Anyway, I lots of negative to say since the last unexpected experience, so I feel it's can only trust sales and nothing more when it comes to this area. I can say that wheel bearings or anything that close to the what holds a wheel on weren't part of an inspection, so I had over a month of loud noise and another trusted contact with knowledge in mechanics told me my wheel would've fallen off it i kept driving it maybe another hour or so before bringing it to their garage. Besides that, it's somewhat nice to have certain financing options it not having access to the funds at the time for the repairs suggested as high priority ones, but, of course, it's disappointing when having to discover that we didn't exactly get all we paid towards We need to go to a sister shop instead, and of course, any other persons not to an auto body shop to have anything more from that point forward. read more

I made an appointment. When I arrived, I could tell the counter service guy was frustrated and irritable. We checked in. Gave him the keys and asked him to him about how long. Just wanted to know if we had time to run a couple of errands. He kinda snapped at us and said sometime before they closed. I thought that was very unprofessional and rude. I was almost ready to take my keys back and go next door to the other mechanic shop. He wouldn't even tell us what the estimate of the cost would be to replace 2 air filters. Praise God for this mornings blessing! My car has been in the shop for more than 2 weeks and insurance has me running around Gods creation to get it fixed! (Not that I don't have 10million things that needs to be done) There are truly good people out there that do not want just your business but your lifetime friendship, as well. The very first time I spoke with Reuben on the phone, his heart excude through the phone. The customer service he continues to provide to me is beyond exceptional!!! Reuben even went out of his way to contact my insurance and adjuster to fight for the cost of labor they were providing. My son took his 2002 Dodge Dakota here for an issue that prevented it from running/starting. He had it towed there and they ran diagnostics and told him it was the fuel pump. They wanted to charge over $900 for a 1.5 hour job and a $175 part. We decided to do it ourselves. However, upon inspection prior to replacing the fuel pump, we checked the fuel level in the tank. THERE WAS NO GAS IN THE TANK. So... we would have spent over $900 for nothing. They charged us about $150 to tell us the fuel pump needed to be replaced. It didn't. It just needed gas! I was driving and out of nowhere my warning lights go off and I notice my tire pressure on my front right tire is dropping slowly. I remember seeing Sun Auto earlier this week and decided to go there to see if they could fix the issue. I walk in and was greeted right away by Jesse. Super nice guy. I explain what happened and he ensured me they'd figure it out and get it fixed. Told me it should be around 30-45 min and I told him I'd be back. Went for a quick 30 min foot massage across the parking lot at Lilac and as soon as that was done, Jesse had called to let me know it was ready! Perfect timing! I walked back over and he handed me the invoice to go over and they had recommended getting all new tires (which I'd been putting off). Called the day before to provide the scope of work and that I was bringing my own part, an injector for a 3.0L diesel. I was assured they could complete the repair and told to bring it by the next day. When I arrived to drop off the vehicle I was informed this particular Sun Auto does not allow customer supplied parts. I asked why this Sun Auto had different policies since a different location allowed customer supplied parts three days prior. The service advisor said, "I have had a bad experience in the past so I just don't do it." When I explained I was not paying $800 for a $200 part, all the service advisor said was, "I understand. To further my point, they recommended a fuel filter change at the different location. I inquired as to the cost and the part was $172. On Rock auto the part is $32. This locations must be operated by a grifter to not allow customer supplied parts and be morally bankrupt to be comfortable marking up the parts prices 400%. read more

Poor selection of brand of parts, say they are life time warranty but they only warranty all part in the first two years unless you want to pay for the full labor bill to taking off faulty equipment and reinstall new cheep parts again. I brought my four year old shocks and struts back and they would not do anything for me because I had different mechanic replace faulty equipment with reliable product but didn't have them do it. read more

HONEST IS WHAT I WITNESSED! Recently moved to this area and came to this store to fix a flat. As I waited, I heard the conversations between Danny, the manager, and other customers. The 1st was a woman who had a low tire pressure gage that came on. Danny said, "it was cold last night and this morning." He didn't try to fake a problem and unnecessarily charge her. The mechanic checked the vehicle and told her the same. No charge because there was no problem! HOW REFRESHING! The 2nd was another woman needing new tires. Now,I'm a female whose father owned a tire store and was again impressed by the complete honesty about the various tires, price differences, charges, value, etc. Danny didn't try to fast talk her and confuse her, but spent a long time clearly explaining and showing the various tires. He reexplained when necessary and let her make the decision. No pressure, just very helpful. This is where I'll come from now on because they are honest. Please save YOUR MONEY just a few more dollars to take your vehicle to a more reputable repair shop unless you like dishonesty, spending extra and getting duped. My A/C was blowing hot air on 05/12/2023. I found a %10 off and "up to $150.savings" for Sun Auto Service, which I found out later on the "free A/C diagnostic" they claim on their website is anything but free. ...Spoke to Jeremy Conner at Sun Auto Services. He informed me that the charge would be $234.71 to Perform evacuation and recharge of the A/C system and install dye. He advised me to return in a week to check if there are any leaks. I noticed 3 days later the air was running warm again and took it back and Jerremy took my keys a few minutes later came back out and said I needed the following: 1. Replace Condenser because it was leaking the freon: Cost would be over ($315.0.00 plus tax) 2. Kit of Schrader Valves needed to be replaced leaking Freon: Cost would be an estimated ($33.99 Plus Tax) 3.AC Belt Cracking Replace w/new Serpentine Belt: ($124.99 plus tax) 4.. Labor would take over 3.5 hours @ $150 per hour = 612.0.00 total ASIDE FROM THE $234.71 i HAD PAID. I WOULD HAVE BEEN SCAMMED FOR ANOTHER $1085 + TAXES!!! I took it to another mechanic and they fixed MY A/C! 1. Condenser had no issues $0.00 Nothing wrong with condenser 2.. Schrader Valves replaced $40.00 Mechanic said Sun auto left the tops off Schrader Valves and should have been replaced when Sun Auto evacuated and recharged the system 3. AC Belt is New! $00.00 no visible signs of Cracking (I had recently replaced with new engine mechanic stated that was replaced when new engine was serviced 4.Evacuate and recharge Freon and $49.00 5. Labor $100.00 TOTAL COST PAID $189 Sun Auto would have screwed me royally! RIP OFFS read more

I believe I was the last customer in tonight, I thought I'd have to wake up early and return to ger services but the manager (older gentleman, didn't get his name, awesome 'stache) told me to pull around so he could take a look at the big screw in my tire I must have picked up from the ubiquitous Vegas construction (ugh). I pulled into a stall and a younger guy was obviously clocking out (removed his uniform shirt) and leaving as I was pulling in. He stopped and asked me what's the problem, I showed him my punctured tire, and he readily assessed it and got the keys from me! I wasn't there no longer than 45 mins and out with a patched tire! Free of charge. I was able to express my gratitude to Ray (young, "blessed " tattoo over his right eyebrow- I'm describing him because I'm sure there's tons of other mechanics named "Ray") and drove home less stressed now that my tire was repaired, and grateful for this shop! Jesse was fantastic - explained everything really well in advance and after. He gave me a huge discount because my car had an unrelated problem with the diagnostics that he spent a lot of time troubleshooting. I was having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, and then I got a nail in my tire! I panicked pretty profusely, and needed to get it repaired as soon as humanly possible, as my family and I had a lot going on today and the rest of this week. I called this tire works and they answered the phone in the most kind and professional manner. It immediately put me at ease and they explained that it should only take a half an hour or so. I went in, with my infant and my toddler, and they took care of me right away. While they were working on the one tire, they found there was ANOTHER nail in another tire! It was going to take a little longer to repair than originally anticipated, but I truly appreciated the thoroughness. Catching the second nail, meant I wouldn't have to come back again the next day. Then, even though they anticipated the repairs to take longer, I still only ended up waiting about a half an hour for repairs to be completed. They were extraordinarily kind and courteous, thorough, and incredibly quick! I, myself, have had prior work experience with the service department for another dealership in town, so I know the industry, and I was extremely impressed. They were professional while also being personable. I walked out of this Tire Works feeling calmer and more secure than I did than when I had walked in. Came in to get air in a tire and a brake inspection. $25 charge just to look at..asked Dexter 3 times for a written quote..over $1100 for Brakes??! Really?? I needed brakes ALL AROUND? Really? I'm so impressed with the service of this tire shop. Yesterday came in had a nail in my tire. I was impressed by the team at the shop. They made me feel welcome and were very helpful. I left feeling very satisfied with the service and would return to this shop in the future for other services . But then something happened to me this morning ! I went to get in my truck and the tire they had fixed was flat !
