Don't come here. You'll never go to another bar again. Unique cocktails, a quiet, lively atmosphere, hidden entrances, Teddy Roe's has it all. Obviously, you're here for the drinks, which are very unique and very good. Definitely get a reservation, you get your own "table" (for us, it was a couch) and you get to hang out in a phone call-free zone for an hour or two (it's against house rules, though they have a phone booth.) The lighting is moody, the drinks are strong, and the conversation is flowing. If you can find it, this is a must-visit for anyone looking for a change of pace in downtown ABQ.

I didn't know what to expect from this place since I looked at the bad reviews first so I can set my expectations right. When I came this day, they had live jazz music. I don't care for jazz. But it was great music and the place was packed. Everyone was enjoying it all and the vibe was a good one to be around. Arcy was behind the bar and suggested a few drinks. They were both good. Deviled eggs were good and the pickled purple onions were a good touch - though I still haven't come across deviled eggs that are better than my own The special of the day was pork chops. I'm not a pork person but I chanced it anyhow. I'll have to say, it was probably the best pork chop I've ever had. They sousvided it and it came with apple butterand it all worked beautifully. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this spot. Well done!

Heyyyyyy Albuquerque has a slick, real Speak Easy! we had just got into to the other week. I knew after dinner we may wanna grab 1 more drink so I had checked to see if there were any new spots sine the last time we were in town. I hadn't heard of this Teddy Roe's so we grabbed a reservation for the late evening. After getting dropped off by a car we tried to find the entrance. I'm not going to give away the trick to it but it was fun. Once inside we got our spot that we held. I didn't see a drink on their menu that I liked that was rum based, so I asked the kind bartender if they could make me one. I only asked that it be alcohol forward, but that I was good if it was a more fruity drink too. They brought me a concoction that was perfect. It's a real nice place. The ornate ceiling and the beautiful bar added to the regal vibes of the place. I would definite recommend Teddy's; it's one of the best speakeasies in town.

Oh Teddy Roe's, you'll always have a special place in my heart. It is always fun to call the number and be let into a unimposing room before getting seated. I love how intimate all of the seating is. This is the perfect place for date night! The drinks are always solid and I love how creative they are. The food is always different everything I go and I've never had anything bad. Every time I go I make sure to get the shoestring fries- they are well seasoned and crispy! The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. I just really can't say enough good things. This is my favorite place in abq to get dressed up and come out for a drink.

I really loved this place! They had a magician performing tonight, and he was incredibly talented and entertaining. The drinks were perfect, and the food was fresh and high quality. We asked for Diet Coke, and even though they didn't have any, they went out of their way to get some for us. The service was great, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Very cool speakeasy type establishment. Mainly a place for drinks and specialty cocktails. They have a very limited food menu. I had the ribs and they were awesome, they do not have diet sodas. I didn't see any desserts on the menu either. Like I say limited menu. Staff was delightful. Highly recommended.

We came here last Tuesday night after 8 pm. The place was pretty empty. Bartenders were knowledgeable and parking was relatively easy. The place itself was also easy to find. I got the lost & found with rum, coconut cream, mint, and lime. 2024 #20

The food and drinks will not leave you disappointed!! Great flavors from both left our party damn near speechless! The establishment is clean, orderly. Stash is very attentive, polite, and professional! This was like a hidden gem! If you like a speak easy, you're gonna love this place!!! What an awesome vibe!!!

Fish and chips. 3 huge pieces of fish.

We tried out Teddy Roe's last. First, the good/great. I had the best Paloma I've ever had. Fizzy, tangy, not too sweet, and potent. It's got a pretty price tag attached to it ($17) but it was worth it. And, our food was delicious. My husband had fish and chips, and the fish had a crispy batter and was cooked to perfection. The duck fat fries were DELICIOUS (he had to swat me away by giving me his slaw, which was also delicious) with a tangy aioli to dip them into. I had the shrimp Mac and cheese and the pasta was fresh-made, the sauce was deep and complex, and the shrimp were plentiful. Also, the interior is gorgeous. Dark (you can see the murkiness in my pictures) and rich, and well appointed. However, I'm taking a BIG star off for the counter accommodations we signed up for. There was no description in the Open Table reservation process, and I had an option between counter or bar. I don't do well on high chairs (I'm five two) so took a chance on counter. Well, counter is literally a twelve-inch shelf of marble hung off a large center pillar. So we ate facing a wall. Not even remotely an appropriate dining experience where you're expected to drop $150. Bad choice on my part, but disappointed that Teddy Roe's/M'Tucci's hung a 12 ledge and said "that will work for dinner and drinks." I highly recommend doing something about that for future diners. There were two large 6-person booths that were completely empty during our stay, and I still don't understand why they don't make those available (we lasted about an hour face to face with the wall before we said uncle). The service and the unique bakery fake-entry was also obviously refined, so the counter accommodations stuck out even more. If they'd fix that issue, this would be five stars all day long.

The quality of the food was unexpectedly delicious and it left me craving more! It pork belly on a bed of white rice with a tangy sweet fusion sauce. The drinks unique flare and well the ambience is simply sexy! Service was absolutely superb!

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! We went on a Tuesday night and it was pretty dead but I can tell it's busy on weekends. It's beautifully decorated! They have a great cocktail menu. We tried 5 different cocktails and they were AMAZING. So well balanced and delicious. We got the fried olives and the fries. Both were fantastic. The fries are like McDonald's fries but super elevated! Seriously addicting. We ordered the spicy shrimp Mac and cheese and the steak and potatoes. Both were really tasty! The potatoes were so soft and the onions and cheese added a perfect contrast. The staff were seriously wonderful, we will definitely come back next time we're in town for the staff solely. The yummy food and drinks are a bonus! Would highly recommend coming here!

Be sure to make a reservation online at their website. Follow their instructions and boom you're in. Excellent for a date night. We watched Hillary Smith perform and it was incredible. Highly recommend this spot. Only issue we had was service was extremely slow and we were only fit for a 2 hour slot. The owners were extremely acclimating and let us hang out a little longer to make up for the time lost due to slow service.

First time here. Very trendy. Located in the back of a building in an alley. I first thought this was a joke but it turned out to be rather pleasant and interesting of fun. We reserved the Champagne Room for two hours. We were greeted by a host immediately who led us into a private room behind a hidden wall. Very mysterious and fun! We were served Champagne in a flute glass. The room seats about four to six people comfortably. Very private which is nice! Great ambiance and decor. We used their mock vinyl turntable to play our own music selections. Nice touch! We were there in mid December so it was a bit cold in the room. They could have installed a portable electric heater to make it more comfortable but that may not be permitted due to fire laws. Ourdrink order was taken right away and served to us in a flash. Great service! I ordered a bourbon drink that was a house special similar to an old-fashion that was outstanding! It was so good that I ordered a second round. In terms of the service, they offer a feature where you press a switch and that notifies them you require service. We had someone at our table within seconds. Love it! Their drink menu is plentiful. Spirits, beer, wine, they have it. I love bourbon so I was in heaven with their selection. Their food menu is sparse. I couldn't even tell you where their kitchen is located as the entire place is very small. Still, we ordered a charcuterie board, chicken sandwiches with garlic fries, and another appetizer. Very tasty! The only reason I didn't rate this five stars is: Parking is difficult. Location is difficult to find. One public bathroom. Limited seating. Not sure of the prices as we were treated by our company. If you're looking for a trendy, unusual place to enjoy a night out with family or friends, this is the place.

Ask the Community - Teddy Roe's

When booking with OpenTable, it has seating for Standard, Bar, Counter. What is the difference? Can a booth be requested?

A booth can be reserved depending on party size. The counter is a smaller surface that is great for cocktails and small bites. Bar is the bar top, and standard will be for the fire place and side lounge seating, usually meant for parties of 2-4.

    Does this place have music?

I believe the answer is sometimes! :)

Does the couch seating still allow you to have dinner comfortably and not just drinks?

The green couch allows you to have dinner comfortably, our fireplace is a little tighter, but still comfortable for a dinner for two.

Does it cost to make a reservation as an additional charge from the bill?

The only reservation charge we have is for the champagne room, we do hold $15 per guest to keep your reservation as we are a small space, but it does not get charged to your card unless you don’t cancel your reservation in an appropriate time frame…

How large of a group can the champagne room accommodate?

8 would be the most comfortably.

Online when booking a reservation, it says "Column" or "booth" or "two top"? im not sure what the best reservation option for 2 would be because idk what the difference between those are. bar top or a table for 2, Does anyone know the difference?

I can help you there! Our column is designed for two, the seats are raised and the counter top is not as wide but still intimate. The two top is in a corner with a single table and a lamp but a very comfy spot. Our booths are a bit bigger, they can…

What's the champagne room? How is it different from the others?

Our champagne room is a separate room with a private seating area. The cost for the room is $100 and it comes with a bottle of champagne. Hope this helps.

As the sun went down, the view from the mountaintop kept changing, and every few minutes it somehow got even better. But what impressed me just as much was what was happening in the kitchen. Thoughtful wine list. Outstanding service. Comfortable atmosphere. Food that showed genuine pride and attention to detail. I honestly can't even remember which dish it was, but I do remember stopping to admire the tiny, perfectly executed petite brunoise of carrot. Nobody does that by accident. It's the kind of detail that tells you you're eating food prepared by people who truly care. The view may have brought us here. The food and hospitality will bring us back many times over.

A table with a view is not guaranteed with the fine dining reservation. Matter fact, a reservation isn't needed to dine on the fine dining side although it may state that it does online. You can walk right in and say you'd like to be seated in fine dining and they will make it happen. It sure happened. It's first come first serve on both sides regardless of what's posted. It's a restaurant after all, as they said, so money has to be made. Nonetheless, the experience itself was completely worth it. The tram ride up was not as scary as it may seem. It's about a 15 minute ride up. The main goal today was to enjoy the view and to go to dinner. If you ride the tram up without dinner, you can simply explore the area until your next ride down. As far as dinner goes, the meal was delicious. Our waiter was kind and patient with explaining a few things to us. The food didn't take long at all. We had a glass of a wine, the sandia caesar salad, and the seared sirloin. The sirloin came with some type of mash and veggies. It all paired well together. We ate, we laughed, we enjoyed the view. Don't bother making a reservation and risk losing money for booking. Go up, enjoy the view, enjoy a good meal.

I recently visited zinc for the first time for a birthday celebration. Overall, I was very impressed with everything. I enjoyed my salad, which at the time was the seasonal special and had pears in it. I also really enjoyed the lobster ravioli. I didn't try and cocktails because I wasn't drinking at the time but their cocktail menu was interesting. Overall, I would totally come back, I'd like to check out their more casual bar menu.

The hostess was kind in allowing this senior group to sit upstairs while having happy hour items from the *cellar menu. Our gracious server was Menomonee. She took our drink orders and everyone was happy with the festive well-prepared cocktails. Then we ordered our appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Everything was right on point. I even took a few photos - which I rarely ever remember to do. (I will post them after this review is online.) [*While the cellar seems very intimate, one person in our party was with a cane and has trouble with stairs, and another person has vision issues in the dark, so we could not handle that environment.] So, well done Zinc staffers and kitchen! You have won new customers' hearts and well will be back again and again!!!

The drink crafters are definitely talented and very attentive, ready to make recommendations. This last time we ordered the espresso matini, the citrus, the bubble gum cosmo, and the pornstar martini. The espresso martini was absolutely smooth with a lot of coffee flavor. The citrus was definitely citrus and refreshing. The pot star martini was very funny and fun to drink, wirh a lot of tropical flavors, but it was not as fun as the glittery cosmo. As a snack, the birria fries were a good compliment, quite delicious with enough birria. Overall, it is no surprise that Happy Accidents is one of the best bars known the US. Creativity and flavor abound on Route 66 for sure.

My husband got the signature Happy Little Accidents- the cocktail with Bob Ross atop. He said it tasted good- sweet. I got a N/A cocktail- London Girl Lost and Nochtilli Refresher. Both were really well made mocktails that didn't just taste of syrup and soda water. Flavors like actually melded really well and you can distinguish the notes! The garnish for my mocktails were fun, too- and the giant rectangular prism of ice. Staff was very kind and friendly from when we entered to sit until we left. Definitely a fun stop for an evening.
