Dusty shelves where they place the clean glasses upside down in the dust. The rails are full of crumbs and dust as well. Service and appetizer were decent...and that's about where it ended. Kids mac and cheese was inedible--my daughter asked if I would make her a sandwich when we got home. It tasted watered down and flavorless. The "buttered carrots" that came with the kids meal were flavorless and tasted straight out of a can. Ribeye was borderline burnt on the outside and chewy--tasted more like a low quality sirloin. Asparagus was bland. Mashed potatoes also bland and cold. This is not the Ted's Montana I remember from years ago where it was a special place to go. I'd honestly prefer Outback to this place now, which isn't saying much. Steer clear. read more

Great atmosphere. The restaurant has an elegant, western type theme. Large bar separate from the seated dining. Intimate lighting adds to the ambiance. They offer bison and black angus meats. Before you order they bring fresh pickled cucumbers to the table. Very fresh and crisp. We had the angus burgers with cheddar cheese and bacon. They come with grilled onions and all the toppings. Fresh cut fries on the side. As an appetizer we had the homemade chips and they were crispy and served with a homemade ranch dip. Everything was very good. It was obvious the meat was fresh and not frozen. The cheese was dripping off the burger. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream. It was served with Caramel sauce and hot fudge. We couldn't finish it. It was very sweet and the brownie was dense. Maybe if the brownie was served warm it would have been better. We had soft drinks that were served with crushed ice, a nice touch and paper straws at the table. Price point is moderate. Definitely would go back. Decided to give this place a try as my husband and I were visiting my in laws who live in Naples. We only had a short wait before being seated. Table was covered with white paper and a map (very cool decor and atmosphere). We were quickly greeted by our server, who was excellent. I asked what type of Truly flavors they carried and he went to find out; when he came back, he forgot one of the flavors so he went back to ask again. I appreciated the effort he made to ensure that I knew the options available. Our party of three started off with the bison nachos. They were delicious! They tasted like they had chili mixed in along with the cheese and bison. We were really hungry and it was a perfect appetizer size for the three of us to share. I ordered the beef filet with a side Caesar salad (I asked for this because the menu didn't say this was a side option) and garlic mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly when I asked for well done and was so tasty it didn't need any sauce. The potatoes were good, but I didn't realize they came with gravy which I'm not a fan of, but I ate anyways. The Caesar salad was my favorite! I would ordered a dinner size version of this salad if I could it was that good! The dressing has a lemon flavor to it and is delicious! My husband ordered the bison NY strip with 50/50 onion rings and fries, which he said was excellent. My MIL ordered the bison filet with mashed potatoes, which she also said was excellent. The only bummer was we wanted to get dessert to go and they were out of the brownie and apple crisp and only had ice cream options. Guess we will have to try to get dessert next time. Just finished dinner and left Teds for dinner. Been there a few times and always enjoyed it. The hostess/ greeter seemed incapable of smiling. She seated the two of us like she was doing a grand favor. So she sat us right next to the bar. Plenty of open tables but that's where we were seated. We aren't complainers or picky about seating so we thought nothing of it. Apparently the bartender was our server and while there were there people at the bar, took a little bit to get drink orders. When he returned with our drinks, beer and soft drink, we were ready to order so we did. Nacho app, burger , and brisket. Well, that's where it went downhill. Although server was 6 feet away, never returned to table. Did not get the app but rather our entrees arrived by means of another server and still no drink refill. After we finished meal, brought another soft drink and was going to bring another beer, however 10 minutes later we simply asked for the check. There were other patrons around us although just a few, and I'm not certain how their service was and it's fine, I'm not responsible. Thankfully the nachos did not appear on the bill and we paid and added a modest tip and departed. Food was Pretty good, ambience is nice, and the server was ok, just didn't seem to know what he was doing. I hope things get better for him as if this occurs during season he will never make it. Sorry Teds, guess you ll be off the list for quite a while. Won't be back anytime soon. Oh, and as an addendum, the guy at the window doing expo, finishing touches on the plate and people's food, was playing with his phone. Good service. I do enjoy the bison burgers and always get them as they are recommended, medium rare. Tender and juicy. And no, it is not red like a regular beef burger in terms of being cooked at medium rare. This specific location is doing a fundraiser for my son's football team. An Estero HS Wildcat burger. Yeehaw! This burger is loaded. Melted jack cheese, bright green jalapeño that are not pickled. They have some heat to them and add to the burger. Burger also has bacon loaded on this one. There is an aioli sauce on it and makes the burger perfect. also, this comes with a side of tomato, big leaf lettuce and shredded lettuce for additional toppings. On the side, GIANT onion rings (I do mean giant) and some hand cut fries. My wife ordered the beef and I had the bison. Both were Delicious. This is only offered on Fridays during football season. What a great lunch. I drove down from Tampa to see friends. It's out of season so a ghost town. I walked in and a server ran to greet me, smile ready. I just picked the kids up from school tonight (Friday) and they were wanting Chick-fil-a, and I'm like... no... let's go and have a decent dinner... how about Ted's. So we get here before 6pm and we were seated in a private cove (booth seating for four) which was nice since the kids can be loud. When the server arrived, I placed the kids' order right away: Bison meatloaf w/ fries and steak w/ fries, medium. I asked if I can place my order later and get the kids' food going. Ten minutes later, the server came back and took my order of Appetizer of Shrimp on Ciabatta and a Margarita. The kids are starting to get restless until all our food came out at the same time. All the food came out luke-warm. I cut into the meatloaf right away and checked the temperature of the center... barely warm... Fries cold, limp and sad. The steak was cooked well. My grilled shrimp was already cold and the cheese bread is limp and soggy with the dressing. Going back to the meatloaf... disastrous. The gravy was cold, sweet and tasted "old" and the actual meatloaf is grainy and more like liver pate. Sigh... a fast food restaurant across 41 would have served a faster, hot meal... at least I would have crispy fries. Our server... barely saw him... never asked how the food was... runs away after dropping off the check before I can ask.. what is the "Delicious Duo" on my check that I didn't order. I have eaten at Ted's for several years since they opened. Today was a huge disappointment. Garlic mashed potatoes were awful, lumpy, with skins not specified in the menu. Unedible. A waste of money and I asked for two because of diet restrictions I cannot eat any vegetables not having a colon so nothing with skins! I have had better store bought mashed potatoes at the deli aisle 1literally made by anyone including Publix brand. The pickles used to be so good, today they were old not crunchy and as much as I don't mind cutting the skin off they were not worth it and I spit it out and everything went in the garbage. I would not eat there or tell anyone to again. They said they would give me two sides to make up for the mashed potatoes when I called to complain. I was in the business years ago and I would have offered a refund immediately. The manager did no such thing. There are too many eateries here to eat at Ted's again. read more

I have only visited Ted's in Colorado, so I was a little skeptical of how the quality of the bison would be here in Florida. It did not disappoint. We sat down, and our server immediately brought waters and pickles. We went with the bison nachos for an appetizer, with the sour cream on top. So good and a must have appetizer. Plenty for a group of 4-5 to share. For my meal, I had the canyon burger. The flavors were popping and the meat was cooked perfectly. The quality was just as good as in Colorado. My boyfriend had the bison brisket and enjoyed it a lot. The staff was practicing good hygiene, wearing masks the whole time. They did not wear gloves. Overall, this Ted's did not disappoint in comparison to the one in Colorado. The food quality was great and the service was quick and friendly. We're here on vacation, but our family who lives here full time will definitely be returning! read more

Well 3 months later we were back in the area and decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately they still fell short. While the burgers we ordered were good and service was better then the first time, the fries were burned. I don't recall the fries being this way on our previous visit. Some foods we try out of novelty... but the bison burger is the real deal. Bison is leaner than regular beef without sacrificing any of the taste. I've seen bison go for twice as much as regular beef, but that's not the case at Ted's. While it's not the cheapest burger in town, it's worth the couple extra bucks. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with spacious and comfortable seating. Even though they were busy, the food came out quickly and our waiter was great. I ordered the bacon bison burger with melty cheese and caramelized onions. The bison was so juicy that the bun began to fall apart half way thorough... The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Our table had the bison sliders and pickles to start, both were delicious. The Cherry Lemonade and Mango Lemonades reminded me of something Mom made when I was a kid. We had burgers.Everything was cooked as ordered. The carrots in butter were al dente and not too mushy. We shared the apple crumble for desert and it was amazing. Wait of 30 minutes for table - not unexpected. However, over 1 hour wait for food. Got a skinny burger - asked for medium and got well-done. Meat was so salty, I could not eat it. Husband's burger equally over salted. Spoke with manager who said they were short due to four people calling in. Also, we were told, "this is how we season our meat. We salt it three times." Over kill on the salt for sure! Manager took my meal off the bill. We will give it another try in the future, but ask that burger be slightly salted. read more
