The food and service is always on par every time I've gone in. I would definitely recommend anybody to go visit this establishment.

I've wanted to try Ted's for awhile. We were craving burgers so I thought I'd give it a try. The place is very clean, which is a huge bonus for this germ freak. The atomosphere was ok. A bit barren feeling to me. The menu is mostly burgers and meat. I ordered the bison burger with smoked gouda and bacon jam. It came with onion rings and fries. The onion rings were a bit too dense for me. The bison meat itself was great but the toppings were ok. The food was a solid 3 stars. Sydney was our server. She was 5 stars all the way. So service 5 stars. Cleanliness 5 stars. The food was just ok 3 stars so unfortunately I probably won't be back for awhile but I would definitely consider giving it another try someday. read more

This restaurant is a casual type of restaurant. We had lunch here and both ordered burgers. I had the cheese and mushroom burger and my wife ordered the burger with cheese. They were both well prepared. We both enjoyed the 50/50 onion rings and French fries as an included side. The service was good. Our server brought us a small plate of pickles to begin with and was honest when giving answers about how certain foods were made or tasted. The price for the burgers is a bit high. read more

2nd time here. The first time I had the Delmonico Ribeye (Beef) and although it was cooked perfectly, it was quite fatty. This last time I had the Red Rock Burger (Bison) and it was excellent. Several months ago we discovered Ted's Montana Grill and being steak lovers we decided to give it a try. Wow! My fiancée and I got the same thing, the Bison Fillet. We like the fact that all of the animals are grass fed, this makes for the best tasting meat out there. The ambiance was nice, this is a large place that can seat a lot of people. When we went there it was not busy which was nice, the staff told us that it can get busy when our tourist season arrives, I believe we will have to make a reservation when we go there in season. We both had a salad and a side of broccoli which were both nice additions. I will say if you are a desert lover Ted's has an awesome ice cream topped brownie. Beware though the brownie is HUGE! this will easily make a desert for two people. We have been there six times and have yet to have a bad anything from this place. The service is great too which is a big plus. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great steak of bison. read more

We had dinner inside last night at Teds. There were 4 of us , all over 70. We went there because we felt that it being a Monday night it wouldn't be crowded. Also there's a lot of room inside to social distance. After we received our drinks and an appetizer a party of 6 were seated right beside our table. The rest of the tables in the center aisle were unoccupied. Teds needs to train their staff to be more sensitive to Covid & to make sure their patrons are safe. We will return to Teds but not until we're vaccinated or Covid is no longer ! Whichever comes first! read more

We have been to other Teds and have really enjoyed our dinners there. That was not the case at this location. Our server was pleasant however was not as attentive as he should have been. One dish that we ordered was the Bison Ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. The Ribeye had very nice flavor yet the potatoes were a lump of hard potato chunks and were cold My side salad , some of the lettuce was brown as if it had been made the day before. Went here for my graduation dinner since our first choice was not open. Our server was very forgetful and had to ask 3-4 times for things like drinks, ketchup, etc. Our food came out and things did not improve. They put cheese on my son's food even though we stated he was allergic. Everyone's broccoli at the table was ice cold. And all of the pieces of meat at the table were mostly fat. The medium rare steaks were almost purple in the middle. The creamed spinach was a bowl of cream with a few pieces of spinach. And lastly my Long Island iced tea had brown stuff inside the ice cubes. WORST BURGER I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! Today i decided to try out ted's montana grill and was surprised! In the worst way... i was extremely disappointed. I had one of those burger craving days and wanted to try something new. When i got my bison burger from teds it wasnt just one thing that went wrong, heres what happened... 1. The burger itself was too thick and not cooked correctly 2. Burnt bacon 3. Not enough cheese 4. The lettuce looked like it was from subway. 5. For the tomato that i ordered i got one slice out of the top portion of an unripened tomato. 6. The avocado slices i ordered and paid extra for were hard and completely u ripe and inedible. 7. Got 2 rings of an onion and thats it. 8. Bottom bun was completely soggy and falling off as you ate it. The waiter and waitress were great! This location used to be good but has gone hugely downhill. I ate there about two weeks ago, and it was a comedy of errors. There were three of us. They got all three of our orders totally wrong. By that point, so much had already gone wrong that we gave up and just ate the wrong food. They gave us a discount of 10-15%. Pretty laughable after a completely ruined dinner. The straws are paper or something which is fine with me, I had a hard lemonade from the specialty drinks menu (Jim Beam, Cointreau, etc) and I enjoyed it enough to order another. At $8 it is a bit pricey, I think. For dinner I ordered a bison burger with cheese, bacon, jalepenos, blackberry jam, & fried egg...I can't remember what it was called, but it was tasty! By far, it was the craziest combination I've had on a burger. The garlic mashed potatoes weren't great. They had clearly been sitting out a while and weren't hot. I tried an onion ring off my mother's plate and they were as good as they looked. The website is awful and doesn't work with Google Chome when I tired it. As a gal who was born and raised in Montana, I was instantly comfortable amid the lodge style decor and requisite mounted animal head. I loved the complimentary Almost Pickles that were served immediately. What a refreshing alternative to chips or bread.I ordered a Mountain Breeeze. A grapefruit infused vodka drink that was perfect for a summer day. The bison options on the menu are extensive. We enjoyed the spicy Bison Nachos and the simple yet tasty bison Meatloaf sandwich. Here is my 2 cents and some chit chat. I have been looking forward to having a bison steak or burger for 4 years. ...I must admit I was disappointed. I had a bison burger 6 years ago in Oakland,Ca. It was delish. This was not. I got a Naked bison burger, medium rare. Every thing on the side. 14 bucks. It was cooked to my perfection. Except I thought this was a bit dry. I took a bite naked, It just did not over whelm me. I added pepper,salt, ketchup, bit mayo, bit mustard, a tomatoe and pickle. Oh yes they give some pickles before the entree. They were crunchy tasted ok, but was missing something. I pass on the rest of it. Back to the burger...I am not sure if it was me or where this buffalo came from. But compare the two together ...this one lost out. My server Laurie and the cook did an outstanding job. I will give it a second try in the future. read more

This is indeed a great place to eat! From the chilli to the burgers, nachos or sliders! Everything I have ever eaten at Teds has been DELICIOUS! First time I went was for Father's Day weekend, service was impeccable and the food was amazing! Pickles we're given as the amuse-bouch which were quite tasty and different from what you normally see at restaurants. I let the waitress know we had never had bison and she bought out free samples for the whole table to try which was soo thoughtful. I decided on an Avalon beef burger which had melted gruyere cheese and delicious mushrooms, my boyfriend the George's Cadillac bison burger. I loved how you can have half fries and half onion rings as the side! Burgers were cooked to perfection! The 2nd time around we decided to get bison Chili, the Georges Cadillac bison burger again and some bison nachos which I have to say we're all AMAZING! The Chili was delicious, tad bit spicy but I couldn't leave any in the bowl, it was that good! The bison nachos had chili on them which I was a bit surprised on that, they could be a little more creative there but nonetheless they were still amazing! The service on our 2nd visit was even better than the first! I love their country flare with the paper straws and the crushed ice (I loveeeee crushed ice!). Also the strawberry shortcake, which I forgot to take a picture of, was pretty good as well! I was so full by the time we ordered it I honestly only took a couple bites but def something to order when you're in a small group because it's pretty big! Ted's reminded us of our trip to Wild Bill Cody's place in Cody, Wyoming. The atmosphere was clean, themed and well maintained. We both opted for the beef steak but tried the sample of bison. Came here with a party of 5 ( myself included) when we walked in, we felt the atmosphere we nice but some of the placement seemed tacky. You are seated at a table with Oregon Trail-esqe map butcher paper. My server was pleasant but very brief. We ordered our drinks (great variety btw) and they were brought out in a timely manner. The bison is INSANE!!! But two in our party ordered steaks and they were less than subpar. For a chain restaurant, that would be fine. But you are paying out the wazoo for these meats!!! Considering it was 12:30 (lunch) and there were 3 other tables with people at them, we should have taken a hint! My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant. We were very disappointed in our meal last night. My steak was undercooked and mashed potatoes were very dry. My husband's bacon burger was raw. We were wondering if there was a new cook since the meal was so disappointing. We spoke with the manager who basically argued with us that the cook that was there had been there for at least 6 months when the waitress told us he had been there for 2 . I had the Avalon Burger with caramelized onions, blue cheese, crumbled bacon - it was so yummy! Came with fries that were crispy and tasty. My parents enjoyed the "huge" wedge side salad that they could have split. Also liked the crab cakes ("a little spicy") and the sliders. We ate outside here on a lovely night this past week. All four of us wanted what they list as the best fish sandwich ever or something to that effect and, at 6:15 PM, they had no fish sandwiches available. So that was disappointing for all four of us. We made alternate selections and they were fine. Our waiter was very nice. We were allowed to substitute onion rings for french fries and we appreciated that option. Two of us got hamburgers, one got a very huge pecan crusted trout and the other person got bison meatloaf. This used to be an excellent restaurant. Nachos & onion rings, 5 stars. Hamburgers (Bison) are prepackaged frozen patties. They looked like BUBBA burgers and all three were cooked wrong. The meatloaf sandwich had a single quarter inch slice which could barely be tasted over the other components of the sandwich. I've normally had the Bison ribeye which was 5 star excellent and why I attempted the restaurant again. Service was nonexistent and we were continually finding and asking for refills. And it took forever to get a hot meal. It took forever for all service to come to our table. The menu is huge and is applicable to everyone. Vegan, gluten-free, Beef, Bison, Chicken, Fish, etc. Huge menu I loved it all. They bring you out a type of amuses that are between a pickle and a cucumber. The perfect mix of crisp refreshing cucumber, and nice hint of salted pickle taste.
