My father insisted I left a review for Tee Bone'z after we went there with my aunt and cousin. The precautions they took amidst this pandemic are unlike any I have seen elsewhere. They went above and beyond to ensure the safety of their customers and staff- so THANK YOU! We've been there several times, we have our family party there every December and are never disappointed. The severs are always so kind, they have a clean facility and good food. My mom loves the steak bites, but I always go for one of their salads or the quesadilla. Went here after a round of golf down the street. They had a burger and beer special for lunch. Being the burger fan that I am I had to try it with a side of fries. Cheeseburger, medium with lettuce and onions. This was a very good pub burger. Great taste and perfectly prepared. The fries were the thicker probably frozen but were very hot and lightly salted were good. I'd come back here again when in the area. I normally don't leave negative reviews but am making an exception in this case. I have been to this restaurant 5 or 6 times so far. 2 were very good and 1 was just okay. The other 2 had meals provided that could not be eaten they were so bad. Last night our table was served 2 Steaks ordered medium rare and they were served Raw and I mean barley cooked. It took 15 or 20 minutes for the server to make it back to check on us. We showed her the raw Steaks and she offered to have them put back on the grill but after sitting that long and not wanting to wait for it to be reheated we asked for them to be removed from our bill as we could not eat them. We were told that the manager Don would only remove 1 of the Steaks that were served wrong and not edible. So last night I paid full price for a Steak I could not eat because they served an awful meal. I asked to speak with Don the manager but he told our server he was to busy. Not only is the food delicious and the service excellent, the staff there are truly AMAZING people!! I dined there on July 3, 2020 and inadvertently left my purse hanging on the back of the chair. I had no idea where I lost it until I received a letter in the mail on July 15th from the owners saying they had found it and put it in their safe. Not only was everything in it - $234 cash and a bunch of gift cards totaling over $500! - it was a nice Coach purse and they went through a lot of trouble to get it back to me! Currently writing this from our 2nd restaurant of the night because our experience at Tee Bones was THAT bad... we walked in and were seated right away, she took our drink orders and disappeared... when we complained to the waitress that our Arnold Palmers tasted like unsweetened tea and lemon juice... she claimed to put in another order for the drinks... 2 hours later they never arrived despite others at the table having their pop refilled 3 times. Our nachos arrived COLD with dirty plates... and dinner took over an hour to come out... my fiance and his father received cold sandwiches with cold fries... my sister in law too. My mother in law ordered a steak well done and cut into a steak that was still BLUE and bleeding... my taco salad never arrived. We asked for our bill for the drinks and to speak to the manager... he refused to come over to us claiming to be too busy to talk to us. As we were waiting I watched 3 taco salads go to other tables. The table behind us got the wrong food, and another table waited over an hour for theirs and never received it. I was highly disappointed. I had heard good things about this place, but had a bad experience. I walked in and just felt dirty. The food I got was cold, there was hair in it, and my friends bread was covered in mold on the bottom. Lots of TV's and decent beer, but low quality service and no regard for the customer. Listen: You're not going to get a five star dining experience here. So let's set expectations. That being said, they do have a surprisingly fun and diverse menu. Things I've tried and enjoyed: Their hamburgers (let's face it, if a place doesn't have a good burger, it's not worth it), the pizza, wings, pulled pork quesadillas, and nachos. Things I've had and will never get again: Steak and cheese grinder (it was dry with no flavor) and surf and turf (If 1/2 is good, I usually am satisfied. However, both the steak and lobster were dry). The beer selection is pretty decent and they do have a full bar. They don't offer too many specials, but sometimes do pitcher/mini pitcher specials that are actually pretty good. I have to admit that I was quite surprised by this place. It's a dive through and through, but that's part of its charm. What's so shocking is that the food is good, really good. Places like this are usually good for cheap alcohol and sports on the tv. You typically eat some crappy bar food just to soak up some of the alcohol so you don't die. But this was some delicious and top notch bar food. We got the onion rings because they were beer battered, and let's be honest, any onion ring not beer battered is merely an imposter pretending to be an onion ring. They were amazing! Big, crispy, not too oily. The server recommended we get a side of their bloomin' onion dipping sauce and she was spot on. This was the greatest onion ring experience of my life. She also recommended everything on special for the day, which happened to include prime rib. I love prime rib, but it's usually a hit or a miss. And in a place like this, I know you're thinking it had to be a miss. It. Was. Amazing. Perfectly cooked, the cut was large and had just enough fat to keep it juicy and tender. I honestly couldn't believe it. To top off the entire experience, the staff is super friendly and on top of it. The place was so packed when we got in there l, we were convinced it would take a few hours just to order and receive our meals, but everything was perfectly timed. Used to come here a lot back in the day and loved this place. Tried it again last weekend. Everyone had a great meal despite my filet being super well done. Sent it back and they made me a new one and it was great. Came back hoping for another great meal. I was served cold nachos. They replaced them (waitress told me the owner agreed they were cold) but the tomatoes were bad. I picked them off and ate it anyway. My son ordered the fried chicken. Bit into it--bloody and pink and slimy!! Waitress told me someone else's chicken came out that way too and obviously the kitchen doesn't know how to cook it. She brought out another plate for him. This time, the fried coating was burnt and two of the pieces were still raw inside. The waitress was very nice and I felt bad for her because she kept having to deal with these issues.
