I hate leaving one star reviews because I know so many people go based off Yelp and I usually can find a reason or two to at least give 2 stars.... I tried and barely got there but I wish I could 1.5 So first - only half the restaurant is open during the week so even though there was a waitlist of 12 groups (not people) groups.... They had half of the place empty.... I asked why and they said only three servers, limited chefs etc. Which means they really need to hire more. So I was watching - 2 people busing tables, 3 servers, and 2 chefs.... Ok so this is a management problem clearly - you haven't figured out your staffing needs. Now I was sitting by the desk where they let people in.... I was watching the waitlist. They absolutely did not go in order AT ALL. Groups of 2 would come in and be seated before others waiting (sitting next to me) that were also 2. I was a group of 4 so seeing another group of 4 come in and start to be seated was irritating. I spoke up and got the seat but still.... Only by watching are you treated fairly? Do better.... This is so lazy. Food - ok it's decent- which is why I didn't give it 1 star. Great spot for quick eats! Nothing crazy to rant about but the place is usually busy, so be prepared for a wait! Quality of the sushi is good and the service is quick. You can also request items to be made versus waiting for it to scoot by on the belt. read more

We went to Teharu on Weds April 30th about 7:45 pm and walked in. We were told we need to write our name on a list and sit down. We sat for some time and there were plenty of seats and nobody came to get us. Finally we saw a New Male server who we had Not seen before and asked if we could sit at a table as it was our date night instead of the bar and he Very Rudely said sign your name and sit down, we told him we did and he said Sit Down. The way he talked to my husband was so rude and disrespectful so my husband said don't talk to me that way. We sat down and waited a long time with plenty of tables available and finally a server came over and showed us to seats at the bar and we asked if we could sit at a table and they said no. Bar or nothing. So WE LEFT. We have been there MANY times since it first opened and John was the owner. I will NOT patronize a place like this and being treated like this. Bummer. I wanted this place to make it but it's taken a nose dive. Quality of food is very low. We checked 4 items (Gyoza plates and spring roll plates) and all were cold, as in they must have been sitting for hours. When we told the server (who was also the manager on duty) he told us to put the plates back on the conveyer belt. Crazy considering we were literally holding the food in our hands. read more

The wait time was quick, but unfortunately, so was my stay. They have a wide selection of rolls, but they were SOOOOO sloppy and disproportionally assembled making it extremely unappetizing to the eye which deterred me from even eating it! My fiancé ate the gyoza's, but they were undercooked making them super slimy and were also cold. I literally only ate some edamame and a couple of spring rolls and it was "check please" for me! Over priced drinks- $9 for a beer and $4 for a small bottle of soda. Seating is waaaay too close together and everything just seemed dirty and drab inside. This place was great! I've never been to a conveyor belt sushi place but this place was pretty cool! It's also affordable sushi as well! The color of the plate determines the cost of each roll. Compared to other places this is such a great way to have sushi but not break the bank. I'm so glad I came and tried this place! Also I love that you get to take home any leftovers from the plates you don't eat! If they don't have a roll for you on the conveyor belt you can place an order for some to be made fresh for you. read more

Went here on a Friday around noon and I was surprised to find that it was busy and there was a short wait. They didn't have every table available and the conveyor belt was at main sitting in the middle. And you are very crouched sitting really close to the people next to you like you're at a bar. Maybe this is common, but the other revolving sushi places I've been to have a conveyor belt that comes around to the tables so maybe this was just new for me. I'll find out when I visit other places I guess. The prices were standard ($1.50-$3). The rolls were kind of sloppily made and falling apart but they tasted ok. Not the best, but I don't expect top quality sushi from a revolving sushi place. The rice on the rose had a sort of pickled flavor. Not sure if that was on purpose or not. I love this place! I have been coming here since 2020 and I will continue to come! The servers are so kind along with the chefs. Let's level set - at these prices, Teharu is incredible value for money and a fun experience, especially if you love conveyer-belt sushi and kani (imitation crab) as much as I do. There's always a bit of a line, and they prioritize larger groups for the tables and make parties of two sit at the counter, but at $1-3 a plate, there's a decent enough selection of food and the small selection of raw fish (always go for salmon + tuna) is fresh and reliable. There's a "protein bomb" situation of fresh tuna and avocado wrapped around a mound of crab meat, that warranted a special call out. Probably wouldn't recommend the ikura, but other than that always have a good time here! read more

Upon entering the restaurant you'll notice only the tables on the right 1/2 of the dining room are used....I think the 2nd conveyor belt is broken so they don't seat the other side of the room. We were able to get a table immediately however by the time we left there were 20+ people waiting. As for the food...inexpensive, but very unimpressive. The sushi is not cut with much skill (large chunks, uneven slices). There was actually a bone in my salmon (traditional sushi, not a roll). My buddy ordered yellow tail (not available on the conveyor belt)...they brought out a plate with 4 huge chunks, each more than 2 inches thick...almost too large for him to eat, and there were still signs of skin on the fish. Listen: inconsistency is the only constant in the world of fast cuisine. These are not Micheline chefs. These workers really just want to make sure that you get the fill that you need and leave satisfied. I've been coming here for years, and with how stupid silly you can stuff yourself for so cheap, I'm surprised with the quality when you come on a "good day", a term that I've always hated regarding food service (it's so passive aggressive). I came tonight with a friend of mine and watched as a guest tried to accuse a server of being rude, which was simply not the case. The server was funny, kind, considerate, but also incredibly busy. The restaurant was the fullest I've ever seen it and the quality was amazing. And the servers, including this one in particular (Daniel) were so nice. Please be kind to wait staff. Their job is a less-appreciated nanny: keep the kids fed and comfortable while you get day drunk. I will never NOT recommend this place. read more

First time trying here with my family the other night and i have to say, I was impressed! I am not a sushi expert by any means, as this was the first sushi restaurant i have ever been to. They had a revolving conveyor that was well stocked with dishes and various items like drinks and pudding. The potstickers were absolutely INCREDIBLE, along with the salmon. I do not like crab salad and lots of the dishes had that, so I of course wasn't a fan of those. The service was very light, we were seated and just began taking plates to eat. Me and my daughter came here and had. A great time. It's such a fun concept. We started with some edamame and dumplings. Then she got 3 plates of Philly rolls lol her favorite. She loved it all. I had a firecracker which was tempura on the outside and some fish I forget what exactly but there was some jalapeño in there. It was delicious. Then I had some crab tempura slices (north the correct name) and they were delicious. Last but. It least my daughter, 7, had a kinder egg and I had my last roll which was shrimp tempura. 10 plates in total between us and it cost $25. Oh yes. And my daughter had a sprite. $25 for all that. Everything was delicious and can't beat the price. I will say this is not a fancy place. It has more of a cafeteria vibe. This place can't keep a consistent menu item to save their lives every time we go we get told an item either doesn't exist, never did, or can't be made despite similar items on the menu with the exception of an ingredient or two. We used to go here ALOT and would consider ourselves regulars it's a running joke that we go for the food not the service. Because if you're expecting a server don't he fooled they sit you and bring you drink and THATS IT. Any other requests are far and few between being able to waive someone down next to impossible and when you do get someone they react annoyed by any additional requests, and you'll have to wait another 30min for any additional plates or orders. And a lot of the time they "forget" about the orders and you don't get them. To-go items are not made fresh they pull from the line so who knows how long your roll was sitting there. They need to remodel their restaurant floor to suit their needs and hire more staff. I was skeptical coming here, but I actually liked this place. Yes customer service was not best, but I was acknowledged and everything I asked for I got. A smile or simple hello would help them out a bit. Anyhow yes the food is on a moving circle thing and you pick what you're craving it's super simple. Honestly I liked almost all my rolls except the shrimp tempura it had no avocado, but that's an easy fix. I really liked that they had all the rolls and salads labeled right before them so we did not have to be asking what something was. My favorite roll was the rainbow roll and the seaweed salad was really good. My friend had baked mussels and he said they were super delicious in case anyone likes those. They also had a cheesecake that was so good that we had 2 lol I would come back the prices are really really cheap and it takes the craving out of sushi without having to spend an arm and a leg. I "visited" this "restaurant" on a Monday night in March. I put quotes around "visited" and "restaurant" because this place was not a restaurant, and the visit was not a visit thanks to generalized staff incompetence! I waited at this place for half an hour, and people who got here way later than we did were seated first. Multiple seats were available at the bar, and they were unfilled, and that's not even counting an entire half of the restaurant that was not filled because it was shut off, even though a large number of people were waiting for food! The staff members were not receptive to people, caring more about cashing tabs than seating people, while some workers were dawdling around, doing basically nothing. Finally, the "servers" almost tried to seat us next to a man with a case of body odor that was worth vomiting over! That's when I said enough is enough, and got out, but not before leaving a note that read "Bad Service!!!" Honestly, I would have gotten better service if I was a homeless man waiting outside St. Vincent de Paul's soup kitchen on a searingly hot Summer day, and to think I was going to pay to get food here! This "restaurant" wasted my time, and surely other people's time. If you don't know how to provide halfway adequate service for paying customers, then close up shop! Don't waste retail space! This place, in my opinion, must be avoided at all cost, even, I think, in cases of starvation! read more

This is a great place to go if you want to grab sushi quick! The quality is not the best, but select sushi dishes are really good!! I been here many times so I know which ones I like and worth it. There's a conveyor belt with lots of sushi options ready for you to choose from as you get seated. I would commend groups no bigger than 6 or else it might be hard to get seated quick. I like the options that they have. The ones I really like are the haru sushi, haru poppers, I love salmon rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and dragon rolls. The pricing of each plate is different and I think it's worth it for the type of sushi you get. There is a good amount of rice in each roll so it is very filling. Would recommend to coming here to experience the conveyor belt sushi options! read more
