Super Toro Pressed Sushi, Slightly Broiled MP but get it !! Melts like butter, SO good.

Wow, always a great meal. With a friend for a birthday meal. Fabulous food and service. Super toro, grilled artichokes, grilled miso sea bass, shishito peppers, smoked salmon, spicy tuna, tamago, grilled yakitori. A nice cab and martini. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went early and ate at the sushi bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibrant, fun environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love watching the cooks from the sushi bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

We had an amazing diner at Tei Tei Robata Bar reminding us of our trip to Tokyo. Their robâta grilling specialties are so authentic. Fresh yellowtail carpaccio was delightful. The Chilean sea bass was outstanding. Loved the croquettes. The grilled sausages were a little too German for my taste. Their sushi Toro Diners demonstrated that this Japanese restaurant serves up authentic sushi, including their beautiful octopus Carpaccio. Our experience was highlighted by an exceptional and attentive service, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the cozy and warm wooden atmosphere reminesce of Japan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the perfect place for a relaxing evening among friends or cool date evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food and drinks were fantastic! Literally everything was amazing (aside from the rice ball--came out last when we were full and lacked flavor compared to everything else). It would have been great if it came out with any of the proteins. Everything else we ordered was amazing, especially the nigiri and the potato croquets!!!! The sauce was everything

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Best sushi in Dallas, quite lowkey ambience & amazing service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is absolutely perfect. All sushi is recommended. Never had a bad time at Tei Tei

Tei Tei is hands down one of my favorite sushi and robata spots in the city. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The moment you walk in, there's a cozy, homey vibe that instantly makes you feel like you're in for something special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is consistently top-tier--attentive, kind, and knowledgeable without ever feeling overbearing. Now let's talk food. The quality here is next level. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and most importantly--thick. I'm talking generous cuts of nigiri and sashimi that melt in your mouth, not disappear after one bite. My absolute favorite is the Otoro Nigiri--buttery, rich, and perfectly balanced. I also have to shout out the Croquette--crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. I crave it regularly. The robata selections are equally impressive and really round out the menu with warm, smoky bites that contrast perfectly with the raw offerings. If I had one wish for Tei Tei, it would be to add handrolls to the menu--especially a snow crab hand roll. That would send this place into another stratosphere of perfection. But even without them, Tei Tei is a gem worth revisiting again and again. Highly recommend!

Food and drink was outstanding. I did not take enough pics....got pulled into conversation and drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff was attentive and answered all of our questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Really very good experience all around. Absolutely will be back!

2 orders of fresh salmon and 1 order of scallops

The food was so fresh and portions were just right. The flavors were subtle but very present. The service was amazing. My water was always refilled and dirty dishes were quickly taken away. Everyone was so attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance for a dinner where you can hear the people at your table talk without yelling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I loved it and will definitely go back. I had their fresh salmon, Hokkaido scallops, and crab and mushroom soup. It was all delicious. If you want the soup order it right away because it takes a long time to make.

Japanese hospitality and quality service at one of its finest in Dallas. My interaction with the hostess already left me with a positive impression. I was running past the ten minute grace period to hold my reservation. Once the hostess received my text via OpenTable, she informed me they would happily hold my reservation. Parking is a little difficult as there aren't many free options conveniently nearby. Self paid parking lot is right next to the valet. Flat rate of $18 for 3 hours. Tei Tei honored my seating request in front the seafood display on ice. Our server, Tiffany, was very courteous and informative of the menu and was able to help us decide on what to order. I'd like to highlight: the Yuzu Pepper Cured Pork Jowl as it carried a tangy flavor and tender texture; the octopus carpaccio was refreshingly smooth balance to the grilled meat; the sautéed scallop were small but packed a burst of sweetness from the sea. All the staff took turns taking care of our party which was much appreciated. I asked for some grated radish for my tempura and Sakamoto san kindly handed it to me over the sushi bar. My cup of green tea was also constantly being refilled without me asking. Needless to say, I left Tei Tei feeling full and satisfied. Arigato!

Service was amazing, great at anticipating one's need. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was comfortable, lighting was dim and romantic[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the food was pleasant, no complaints but also nothing extraordinary. We had both Miso soups and they were both great, we also had the bluefin Tuna which was the highlight. We tried the wagyu rare, medium, and well and all 3 were ok (maybe my expectations were too high)

Came here on recommendation of a friend who is from the Dallas area. Cannot recommend this place enough myself. Everything was absolutely delicious and I honestly spent way too much. Highlights were the eel (unagi) that they grilled in front of you, the super negitoro roll, and the impressively cheap spider roll. I thought the beef was pretty good but it's not Waygu level. Highly recommend coming here for the amazing food.

Great Robata place to eat delicious food grilled on charcoal. My husband and I came here three years ago when we first moved to Dallas for my birthday. Three years later we decided to come back for my birthday again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love sitting at the bar to watch the chefs cook. It's just so much more engaging.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a bunch of food and everything was great but we especially love the grilled artichokes, pork jowl, and yellowtail collar. My husband liked the grilled rice. It's so much umami flavor and perfectly crispy rice on the outside. The servers were very attentive and kept refilling out green tea to make sure we got hot fresh green tea throughout our dinner. Would happily go back.

    Asahi on draft

Eric R.'s parents treated us to a delicious meal here the night before my birthday. I made reservations a few weeks in advance since I have waited years to eat here. Tei-An is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, so I knew its sister would be just as amazing. Our server Zoe was very kind and helpful throughout the meal. I ordered Asahi on draft, Eric R. got hot green tea, and his mom ordered unfiltered nigori sake (she wanted sweet sake, but did not end up liking the idea of "milky sweet"). I tasted the sake and thought it was nice and smooth. His parents started with fried oysters, and Eric R. and I got the baby yellowtail carpaccio. We shared assorted vegetable tempura next, which had purple sweet potato, green beans, maitake mushrooms, and shishito peppers. Next we had the beef on hot rock where we each cooked slices of beef. That was fun and interactive. I ordered the octopus leg robata imagining it would be on a stick like we had in Japan, but it was actually sliced very thinly and served with yuzu kosho. I liked this a lot because the slices were tender and easy to chew but had a strong grilled flavor. I had never had octopus prepared like this before. Eric R. and his parents shared the baby back ribs since I do not eat pork. They seemed very tender. I ordered the yaki onigiri with yuzu kosho and shared that with Eric R. and his mom. It was a flavorful grilled rice ball with yuzu kosho served with daikon and cucumber pickles topped with bonito flakes. Our sushi course came last. I enjoyed Hokkaido uni gunkan and Spanish mackerel nigiri. Eric R. and his mom had Hokkaido scallop nigiri. We shared three rolls: negi toro maki, spicy tuna maki, and rainbow roll with real crab. The negi toro was soooooo fatty and delicious! This was a very delicious and special meal. Itadakimasu!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely incredible food, service, and ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite spot in Dallas hands down.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

The service was excellent, and our server gave us some great recommendations throughout the evening. We tried the I Dream of Kiwi, Only Fans, and the Soft Serve Margarita. The first two were refreshing, fruity, and packed with flavor, while the Soft Serve Margarita was a fun twist on a classic. For food, we had the Caesar salad, beef cheek tacos, and the Apothecary Burger with the truffle fries upgrade. The Caesar was a little too heavy on the dressing for my taste, making it quite fishy, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side or going light on it. The burger with truffle fries was easily a 9/10, and the beef cheek tacos were just as good--tender, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. One of the best parts is the happy hour offered every day until 6:30 PM, with all "Over the Counter" cocktails for $12 and 50% off food. This time, I had to try the viral frozen margarita, and it totally hit the spot. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and honestly the perfect "boozy dessert" if that's what you're looking for. The dirty martini, my go-to, was also perfect. The most pleasantly surprising drink was the popcorn bourbon cocktail. It literally tasted like buttered popcorn in drink form, but still felt balanced with just enough bitter notes to let the bourbon shine. Overall, Apothecary continues to be one of my favorite spots for creative cocktails that actually taste as good as they look.

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us and seated us at the table we had reserved in the Leopard Room. Initially, we were placed at a small half table along the wall. We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay. They were not bad, but they also were not particularly memorable. Given the speakeasy concept, I expected a bit more creativity in both flavor and presentation. We ordered the Melting Clock Elixir, Persistence of Berries, Cotton Candy Cloud, and the Surrealist 75. As the night went on, the space became much more crowded and louder once the DJ started playing. If you are hoping to have a relaxed conversation and catch up with friends, this might not be the best spot later in the evening. From what I saw, the Library Room seems to have a nicer atmosphere for that. The Leopard Room leans more toward a lounge or club-like environment as the night progresses.
