Very disappointed. Booked two rooms for my family to stay for a wedding. At first glance, all seemed well. That's where it stopped. I have never spent so much money for such dirty, rundown rooms in my life. FIILTHY carpets, cigarette butts by both patios, stains on the ceilings, walls, tub etc. The phone in my room rang 3 times on night one between 4 and 5:00 am...spam calls...in a hotel! So sad. My husband and I haven't been to the inn in a couple years. Came here for our anniversary. It's fine downhill. Very dirty. The gym was gross and shouldn't be open for service in the condition it's in now. I let the front desk know. I hope they clean the place up. It's got so much potential. read more

First the advantages - good location near old town, rooms overlook golf course and are spacious, and the the room has a refrigerator. Now for the bad - my comforter had what looked like dried blood on it and the carpet had several stains and needed to be badly replaced. The bathroom tile also needed to be re-caulked. I was happy to learn that Pechanga purchased TCI, and was excited to finally stay again after they completed renovations to the hotel, but what an abject disappointment!! While Cork Fire restaurant and the golf courses and grounds are still fantastic, hence my two stars, the hotel accommodations are severely and sorely lacking. The "renovations" consisted of a little paint, some vinyl plank flooring, new photographs on the walls, and new (but not necessarily nice) furniture. The room was not clean - I found hairballs in the bathroom and in the main room, so obviously a poor job sweeping/vacuuming. The shower grout had black mold growing in several places, and a straight curtain rod instead of the new curved type, so the curtain sticks to you while you shower. The HVAC system is old and noisy, rattling like crazy while running, and the temperature regulation was a joke - the room vacillated between insufferably hot or too cold. The mattress left a LOT to be desired. I've slept on pull out beds that were more comfortable. Check-in was a complete joke. We arrived at 4:15 and were told our room was still being "cleaned" and needed "inspection" before we could get the key card. We no sooner drove down to Cork and parked, and received a text that our room was now available. All that inconvenience for a room that was obviously poorly cleaned and maintained! TCI is such a poor value for what they charge, we will never stay here again or recommend them to anyone unless a real genuine renovation is done. It's a shame because there is so much potential here. But there are far nicer places to stay in Temecula in the same price range. I'm really sorry to say, don't waste your hard earned money here! read more

This is an older resort that mostly caters to golfers or groups for events. It's tucked away off the beaten path that gives a vibe of quiet relaxation without really going too far. The hotel itself is a little dated, and the rooms show wear and tear. Although that adds to its charm in some ways. There were broken tiles in the bathrooms, peeling/chipped paint and stained carpet. The multiple spiders I found in the bathroom didn't ignite my happy sensors, but I excused them since the rooms are all entered from the outside, which likely makes it harder to keep critters out. The golf course butts right up to the hotel-giving a beautiful view, but also can invite early morning or late night noise, depending on the group hitting the green. That can be annoying if you just want to rest. The staff is welcoming and friendly. And the gardens are beautiful-I could see this being a nice place to host a wedding. Overall, it's a decent place. Nothing remarkable that would make me want to put this on the list of "must sees" but it gets the job done. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews, but this place deserves it. We stayed for three nights and I can honestly say we were not impressed, not even for a moment. We traveled with our pet as the hotel is pet friendly. That's cool, but would you expect to enter the room with a disgusting, filthy carpet? Believe me it was nasty. I guess they give guests with pets the rooms with ruined carpets. Why do we pay extra to bring a pet and then have dirty carpets. If made dirty by another guest's pet, you certainly have the funds to clean the carpets! Doesn't that make sense? Further, we found a BIG hair clip under the drapes. Excuse me, if you vacuumed properly you certainly would have seen it. Then, the sliding patio door lock did not function AT ALL. The lock on the door did not lock. The fix? A pull down arm attached to the other door that butted up agains the first door. So tacky! The bathroom shower head was poking out of the wall and one can see how they tried to apply caulking to fix. What an eyesore. The grounds were nothing to brag about either. Nothing looked clean except the small grassy area where my dog pooped! Oxymoron, right? We do't plan on coming back. I'm sure they are nicer places in the area. Sad to say, we haven't found it yet. read more

The events team set up a hotel block for our wedding guests and worked closely with us to manage it. They also worked with us to make sure our stay was just right. We also had our rehearsal dinner with them on the Plaza and it was just gorgeous. We loved being near the water feature and the garden. The tables, linens, and buffet setup were tasteful. I needed a pet friendly hotel and this was amazing for that, but, you could hear everything your neighbors do through the walls, and the beds had no level of comfort. Wow. 4 star hotel? REALLY???? Not to be nit-picky but you gotta be kidding me that this is a 4 star hotel. I've stayed in 4 star. I've stayed in 3 star. This room wasn't either. The grounds are lovely don't get me wrong...4 star... sure. The hotel room.... not so much. Maybe a 3 star for the bed/ living area but the entry and bathroom??? Not a damn chance even for that. The faucets squeak. They SQUEAK! Who ever heard of a faucet squeaking?? So be prepared to wake people up if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night and turn on the faucet to wash your hands. Squeeeeeaaaakkkk. Open the door to the bathroom. Squuuueeeaaak. The ceiling? Seriously. Do a decent repair job around the vent. Disgusting. Please don't try to be hipster with this 1960s (or is it 1930s (?) closet door. It just looks old and broken and like a Motel6. The bathtub. Tiny. Basic. Nothing 4 star about it. The towels? Slimy. There's a limit to how much fabric softener you should be using.... Toilet paper and kleenex? They disintegrate as you use them they're so thin. Yeah....gross. Walls? Paper thin!! You're hearing people's conversations in the next room. You're hearing car doors closing outside. Don't bother setting your alarm... you hear the alarm the people in the room next door set. Wtf? Coffee (I hope) stain on the comforter. And let's not forget the curtains. Check in at night and they look thick enough. But think again at 6am... when your room is lit up. The safe? Doesn't close or lock. Nothing "safe" about leaving your valuables in it. But the kicker....a light above one bed that would flash like a strobe when it was on. Then when you turned the lights off... wait for it... the light directly above the head of your bed stays on....juuuust enough to shine in your eyes if you open them. Is this by design? To give you light in case you change your mind about actually going to sleep? Because it's bullsht. Eventually it goes off but seriously wtf?! The exterior of the hotel room buildings at night when we arrived (the second time... because at 230pm we were told that the room wasn't ready since checkin isn't until 4pm... then it was explained that the room was ready but it needed inspection (see notes above because that inspection clearly failed)... and then explained again that the room was ready but someone needed to inspect it first. Yeah you read that right... the same words almost exactly. Robots running the hotel? "Does not compute...question?... repeat same answer same words...")... there is no elevator so take those stairs to the second floor with your bags... sorry your travel companion is 88 years old. The numbers on the doors? I'm sorry but seriously can you make them legible and not on dark background so you need to be standing right in front of the doors to see the number??? Flickering/burning out light on main floor creating a nice "ok I'm in a horror movie" atmosphere. And.... apparently you need to take out your own trash. Skip this place unless you plan on sleeping outside in the 4 star grounds cos your room isn't any better (and in many respects it's worse) than a Residence Inn or Garden Inn or whatever up the street. (Included in photos of the 2 star room though is a photo of the lovely 4 star grounds) Update: One more lovely tidbit... expect to be awake at 6am with what sounds like a zamboni outside your door... back and forth... back and forth... even when you go outside to check you can't see anything but you can hear as it sounds like it moves on to the next building. Decided to pressure wash the parking lot at 6am? The sides of the hotel? The walkways in front? Who knows but as you breathe in what smells like car exhaust in your room, in about 15 minutes the wake-up alarm from the room next door will go off and you'll hear that anyway so I guess this is just a preview to how your day will start. Can't say we've ever looked forward to checking out of a 4 star hotel before, but clearly there's a first time for everything...and a first AND last time (rolled into one!) to stay at Temecula Creek Inn. read more

Ughhhhh I hate to do this. We booked a girl's weekend here in Temecula to celebrate our friend's engagement. I was ok with the price, because we planned this on the fly. The room was nice, and the view was lovely. The front desk staff were also super polite. I loved that I can text them if we needed something. First impression, I was thinking I'll have to come back here with my husband and 5yo son. The weddings looked beautiful from what we could see. Here's where it all falls apart. Their restaurant, Cork Fire, is the source for room service and the main restaurant in the grounds. We went there for dinner our first night, and the waitress was so rude. The food was also...like....golf course restaurant quality, which would be fine if it weren't priced like fine dining. I've worked in the service industry and am super easy to please, that being said I also have very little patience for rude waitstaff. The person bussing the tables and running food was so sweet. He's the reason, the only reason, that I left a good tip. The following morning, we decided to order breakfast since we were headed out to a wine tour at 10am and it was the path of least resistance. We were told that it would be 90 minutes for room service. When I asked for just coffee...also 90 minutes!! I expect only a few things from a resort, and one of those things is the convenience of room service. So, final day...we decided to try to order coffee through room service and we were told that they were out of coffee at 7am on a holiday weekend! How does the only restaurant at a "nice" resort not plan well enough to offer room service in a timely fashion or have enough coffee? I will reiterate that this place has potential, and the hotel staff (NOT the waitress at Cork Fire) have been very sweet. Also worth noting that both nights were super quiet, so they skillfully placed wedding party guests in a way that they were not disruptive to the other hotel guests. If their restaurant hadn't been such an epic fail on three separate occasions I would have rated this a solid 4 stars. If I'm staying at a resort, things need to be convenient, especially if I'm traveling with a young child (and at first impression my plan was to come back here with my family). The restaurant and room service being a swing and a miss on three separate occasions means that this is only a two star review. read more

Temecula Creek Inn is great. I've stayed here well over a dozen times. The property is lovely: serene, tranquil, lush and with a beautifully maintained and manicured golf course. It truly feels like a vacation every time I come here - I can't believe I'm just 5-10 minutes from Old Town Temecula! Try to book in advance because this place can fill up fast. The best rooms are overlooking the green in the newly renovated building (100s block) and they're tastefully done without being ostentatious. Comfortable and sufficiently upscale for my tastes. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating and the service here is always good. They really value their guests and go above and beyond to take care of you (especially if you're a repeat guest like myself, and many other locals I've come to realize... good place for a "staycation"). They will bring things to your room, help with local advice ("hey what's the best cobbler/where can I get XYZ" etc), and if anything at all is wrong with your stay there's someone at your door in a matter of minutes to assist. I have checked in early, late, and every time in between and the front desk is always prompt and professional like basically all of the staff. Special thanks to Heather at front desk who always remembers me and all my preferences... she is such an asset to this place. For example, tonight when I was having a rough night she went above and beyond to cheer me up. She's truly so sweet! Also the male server Leo at Cork and Fire is super kind and polite, he has often delivered my real coffee cream in the morning and he brings me EXTRA cream- THANK YOU! Also at Cork and Fire is Brittani who served me tonight, who is not only charming but also very attentive. Thanks Brittani! Pretty pricey for a pretty old building. There have been some attempts to bring it up to speed, but you can't hide old building materials. Also, be prepared for a "resort" fee for parking and some other items we never used. And the restaurant's pricing is way out of line with the product served. I really wanted to like this place. I was looking forward to a vacation. Upon arrival at 1 pm, just as other guests have said, the rooms were not ready. They said they would try and place us in a room before check-in. Check-in officially begins at 4 pm. That was fine. However, we had booked a king suite and once the room was ready they placed us in a double Queen room. I asked about the mistake and showed the booking info on my husbands phone, but they said the king suites were all being professionally cleaned and would not be available until the next day. I didn't believe them and still don't, but I wanted to relax so I didn't fight it. I think they overbooked for a wedding that was happening the next day. If you look on the website the Queen suites are less expensive than king suites, however they charged the same price upon check out. My husband asked and the employee checking him out told him the Queen rooms were more expensive, that they were giving us a better price. Again, not true based on website info. I was told by other individuals who were more helpful and honest that the king suites were far superior with better views and that they had actually been available. FYI, there are no elevators. I'm still glad we had the upstairs room, but it's important to know. We were not offered any help with our bags even though my husband was working and couldn't help me once the room was finally available. I also asked for wine glasses to be brought to the room and the employee looked at me like they were annoyed and trying not to roll their eyes. Once in the room, I took a call on one of the beds and noticed something like a piece of a popcorn kernel near the pillow. There was no point in complaining because the service was already so difficult. So, we slept in the other, clean bed. The view wasn't great and there were bugs all around the balcony. I had hoped to at least leave the sliding door open for some fresh air, but there were at least three or four holes in the screen that would let mosquitoes into the room. So, the room felt stuffy. The bath tub was patched in three or four places and looked disgusting. Though I tried to avoid the patches, it was sort of impossible. It wasn't a great feeling on my feet. Then there was the toilet paper filled into a hole near the bathroom door. It was gross. I wondered what was behind it and if it was more disgusting than the toilet paper itself? Not ideal for relaxing! The restaurant had great food. But, I didn't read the fine print. For room service, they already charge for delivery and add an 18% gratuity. So, don't add tip on top of the final charge unless you do so intentionally. The refrigerator seemed like it would be great, but it froze all of my food, including my half and half, salsa, and hummus. It had to be tossed out. I had hoped for a nice, quiet place to read and sip wine, a place with a view. I couldn't do that in the dim, dirty, warm room or on the balcony with bugs and a view of cars driving by. There is a nice area for this under the restaurant or by the fire pit adjacent to the restaurant. But, it's loud and not available if there is an event. The afternoon before we were supposed to check out, I walked to the front desk and asked for a late check out. They said it was available and we got a late check out scheduled for noon the following day. The next day, the cleaning staff were knocking on our door 1 hour and 15 minutes before regular check out. I explained that we had a late checkout and the individual acknowledged that they had heard me. Then, at 11:40 am, 20 minutes before our official check out and just as we were about to open the door to lug our bags down the stairs and to the car, the cleaning staff knocked on our door yet again and, without our direct permission, they OPENED the door to our room. They saw us, apologized, and quickly closed the door. Then, as we were getting breakfast in Old Town Temecula, I received a text message from the hotel saying we would be charged a late fee of $40 if we were not out of the room by noon. It was so rude! My reception was bad so I didn't receive the message until 12:30 pm. It really put a damper on breakfast because I felt like I had to text back and explain the situation instead of just enjoying our last few hours in Temecula. Also, the pool was still closed mid March 2022 even though the website said it would be open mid March. Would have been nice if there was a filtered water dispenser, but there was not. Overall, not a relaxing and carefree place to stay. I gave it two stars because we didn't leave due to the circumstances of our visit. But, I would not recommend this place if you want something better than what I just described. read more

I got married on February 8th, 2020 at the meadows. Which personally I believe is such an underrated venue. It's gorgeous, intimate, and just such a romantic setting. I was an out of state bride and relied heavily on email communication and guidance from the coordinating team on how to be able to attend the tasting event and maximize my time in CA to attend a final walk through with vendors and with Cara (the Catering Manager). She made it such a seamless easy process. She was so responsive, so sweet, and just the best to work with. Honestly love her! I also communicated with Leah & Carrie, and they were both just as great! The day before my wedding, we were gifted by the venue the wedding suite with a bunch of sweet goodies. I was honestly blown away at how beautiful the room was and how thoughtful the venue staff is. Little did I know they were only getting started! My wedding day was a DREAM because of TCI and our vendors. Honestly, not exaggerating, my husband and are still blown away at how amazing the food was and how phenomenal the TCI staff was. The day after the wedding we were honestly upset that we didn't remember everyone's names who worked our wedding because we wanted to reach out to thank them all, that's how much of a great impression they left. The servers and staff at my wedding exceeded all expectations, they went above and beyond to ensure we were treated like royalty, they were professional, and honestly were so sweet to us. I remember them checking in on me & they made sure we had drinks and that our food was up to par. Which let me tell you, so many guests were shocked at how delicious our food was. Everyone kept saying how the filet melted in their mouth lol! From touring the venue, to signing the contract, the planning process, emailing communication, to the BIG DAY everyone & everything was PERFECT. I wish I could relive this day. The floor boards in the bathroom had very obvious water damage because they were soft and separating and the room smelled like mold. This place is very green and beautiful. A nice contrast from city life. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. And we ordered breakfast to the room and it was so delicious! But the room itself is old, creepy, and ugly. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is the bed and the pillows. I am 34 and a heavy sleeper and I can sleep anywhere!! I can sleep on concrete if I have too. But I woke up several time with so much pain in my hips and legs, I thought I would be limping in the morning. Screaming pain shooting down my legs. Has never happened before I have slept in some pretty awful places. AND the pillows! They were so high my neck was tilted nearly 90 degrees. Ended up sleeping on my arm instead. It was a mess. Could not come back even if I wanted to because I'm positive an other night on that bed, even if it's 10 years from now, will kill me. Maybe that's why the room is so creepy... read more

Room experience - not good at all. It was so hard to sleep. The beds are terrible and feel like the mattresses haven't been changed in 20+ years. My college futon was more comfortable than this. If you stay in 1st floor room, be prepared to be awoken at 2:00am by the sound of your upstairs neighbor walking around. You know that sound when carpet is old and needs to be updated, we could hear that through the ceiling and made us slightly uncomfortable with the structural integrity of the place. It is so frustrating not being able to sleep because you can hear the neighbor upstairs walking around. The neighbor wasn't even partying or jumping around...they were literally just walking from one side of the room to the other - for 1.5 hrs. We could hear conversations, literal words, from our next door neighbor. There was also a high pitched sound coming from the pipes that concerned us. Not only did that add to the difficulty of sleeping, but I'm worried there's a leak somewhere. Driving up you can see how outdated it is and it gives off a glorified motel vibe. How can this place tout itself as a 4-star hotel??? I have no idea. This place is definitely not worth the price they charge. Do not stay here. read more

My wife and I have been coming here for the past 10 years. The property is beautiful and quite. We know it has changed ownership recently and had not been there since ownership change. When we used to come it was a 4-5 star resort. Golf is great, rooms were beautiful and "clean", and the Cork Fire Kitchen restaurant was amazing. Unfortunately, that is all in the past. While the property itself is still beautiful and quiet and the golf course still in great condition, and the Cork Fire Kitchen still really good, everything else that is needed to call yourself a resort is GONE. We just stayed there this last weekend to see if the new ownership had come through on the "Renovations " that they had touted for so long. In short ---- not even close. If you are the type of person that loves a PIG with LIPSTICK then this is your destination. If you are among the mentally sane, then save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Why you might ask???! 1. Check in time 4pm. Showed up about 4:15pm and to our surprise room was not ready. Advised by registration clerk that the room had not been "inspected " yet. Okay no worries, with Covid and such I understand. Then the registration clerk gave us our 20$ vouchers (part of an online deal) in which to use at the Cork Fire Kitchen. That would be great except they were already completely booked and had zero reservations available, and this was before we got there it was booked. 10 minutes after we left the lobby I got a text saying the room was ready. Awfully fast room inspection!!!!! 2. When we entered our room it smelled like dirty feet or a dingy locker room. I don't need spice fragrance or lavender or what not, I don't want to smell anything at all especially not dirty feet. My wife set her purse on the desk and found a hair ball clump (apparently from a comb or brush) on the desk which is now really setting the atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. We did notice the " new renovations" they had done and quite honestly they got ripped off. The craftsmanship of the work was Busch league. They had painted what were natural wood slats on the closets with white paint and the paint had knotted up and ran with drip marks, the new flooring was par at best. And the bathroom, well that is a whole different animal. The bathroom door had what looked like chew marks on both side as if a squirrel had been in there gnawing on it for weeks, the shower had "MOLD" in the grout lines actively growing on 3 different walls. Photos attached. If a resort is going to delay your arrival to your room and claim that it hasn't been inspected yet, they may wanna take the time to actually inspect. Also to charge resort like fees and rates and claim that you are a 4-5 star hotel, simple things like a clean bathroom goes a long way. We were really hoping for an awesome stay but with a good conscience no way would I ever let anyone I know stay here when they could get the same amenities as a motel 6. With all that said, the Cork Fire Kitchen still has great service and delicious food, and the golf course is fantastic. If you just wanna golf and eat I say go for it, but make sure to book a room elsewhere or nearby to enjoy your time in Temecula. read more

I am shocked to see low ratings. I just did a 5 day event and all the staff was amazing. The rooms, front desk, grounds crew, food, golf, pro shop were all 5 star. Their attention to detail was great. I would plan another event here any day. Diane and Patricia were top notch. From the second we arrived they were in top of everything. Thank you to the entire staff. I will be telling everyone about the great facility and more importantly staff you have. Great job. Your professionalism and communication made the difference. Earlier this week, I stayed here for two nights during a work related retreat. Check in was fast, although my 10 AM arrival time and I was going to pre-check in, and receive my room in the afternoon. No big deal, as our group was going to get a round of golf in on their beautiful course. The staff at the pro shop was very helpful, even giving me a small bucket of balls on the house because I was staying at the hotel. The driving range, putting green, in the course itself you're all well-maintained, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Even the perpetual freeway noise was mitigated by the beauty of the area: granite boulders blended into the chaparral covered hillsides in every direction. We started on the Stonehouse nine, and then moved to the front; candidly, the first nine was a much harder course, and the wind did not make it any easier. Glen, The starter, gave us some great tips on playing the course... All of them were very helpful and true. Yes Glen, I clubbed up 3 on the sixth hole, and stuck the green. After our round, I checked into my room and found it to be well appointed. I stayed on the third floor, and had a small balcony overlooking the course. Very pretty view, even for a golf course. There were some signs of vintage/age at this place, but it was clean and nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Flatscreen TV mounted on the wall nice and high, and HBO were good. Our business today included breakfast and lunch, as well as meeting room facilities. All of these were great, with the exception of breakfast... scrambled eggs, cold bacon and colder sausage were sort of bleh, but five stars on the fresh fruit plate... I have never seen blackberries that big. During our stay, we also had a barbecue dinner at the Stone House... well usually reserved for weddings, this picturesque facility made for a very memorable dinner with our colleagues. The swimming pool and hot tub were also pretty nice, although we could not get the bubbles working in the Jacuzzi. No matter, it was still a nice way to end the day after a round of golf and a satellite day at the office. Overall, I would certainly stay here again... how though honestly, I'm more of a social golfer, and for the price, would just assume stay closer to the ocean. That's nothing on this place, just personal preferences... But if playing a challenging course is your thing, then this is definitely is a pretty nice spot to ruin a good walk. :) read more

For the price we paid for this hotel is ridiculous... Our room was hot and they brought us a fan and blamed the high ceiling for the reason why it's not staying cool in our room. And our sink on 1 side isn't draining... Also my mother in law were staying in the next building and that room smelt like dog piss, and they had send a carpet cleaner to get the smell out. Just absolutely ridiculous.. read more
