I am in full agreement that the scheduling, both via phone and online, is totally in need of serious restructuring. Even escalated issues with promises to call back are ignored. I had an appointment with my doc for post op swelling which required ultra sound on 6/17. No luck. Three calls with promises to call back and escalate. No call backs or calls with such extended waits I just hung up. Some calls to Hispanic ques, and I speak no Spanish. Today is 7/5. Swelling is better. If I'd had a blood clot, I'd probably be dead. Called and tried to make a appointment first spoke with Katherine first she did not state the name of business when I called . I asked to confirm name of business she rudely said you called us you should know. I then asked are you having a bad day? She said yes I am and trying to be nice and light in the conversation I asked is there anything I can do to help you? She told me yes you can shut up then when I tried to give her my information, she told me that if I didn't stop talking, she would have me blocked from getting my x-rays done then she hung up on me since this is where my insurance said I had to go. I called back spoke with Laura. She was so rude and so hostile on the phone and when I snapped back after being spoke to to like a dog, they told me that they were denying my care they were going to block me from getting the treatment. I needed done.. she went as far as calling my primary care physician and said that they would not see me my primary care called and stated that that you have to go to another imaging facility. If you come to the facility, Laura stated that she will call the police and have you arrested. Probably quite honestly she's covering her behind because I have never been spoken to or treated so disgusting so rudely as I'm a second class citizen, do yourself a favor go somewhere else there are a bunch of other imaging services out there and let me tell you you will be treated better heck go to clinic and you'd be treated better. This is hands-down the worst establishment I have ever come in contact with since they decided to deny the treatment and they have gone to this extent to cover they're behind for the rude and despicable behavior I will be seeking legal advice my advice to everyone out there if you've been treated like this from this facility and had this lack of service denying your medical necessity service, seek legal advice. My assessment of Temecula Valley Imaging is that the scheduling department has serious problems with management and staffing. Making the appointment for my ultrasound was excruciatingly frustrating, because of lack of training of the scheduling staff. I completed the check-in forms online for my Ultrasound appointment; and the day I arrived at 25395 Hancock for my exam, the front desk staff member said she had no record of my appointment. A gentleman came to the desk and said he would take over. He checked me in, and 10 minutes later I was called into the Ultrasound room. Tanya the Ultrasound technician was focused and thorough in her technique and took lots of images. When I got back to my car, my phone alerted me that a message from that facility had been received 30 minutes before my scheduled scan, stating that my appointment had been cancelled, and asking me to call for a new appointment. I returned the call and was told that the scheduling department had inserted another patient into my time slot; however, when I showed up at the facility, the staff inserted me back into the schedule and I was able to have the scan. Conclusion: Preposterous scheduling management; front desk people who are struggling to cope with the chaos caused by scheduling; and a kind, courteous, and skilled technician in charge of my exam. read more

I went to this facility yesterday (3/28/19) for an ultrasound and I was called for my ultrasound a few minutes prior to my appointment time, which was wonderful. I am very thankful for the ladies whom I had contact with at Temecula Valley Imaging, Murrieta, Hancock St. (Sierra (I hope I spelled her name right) and Connie, both of these ladies were working the Front Desk, and Alicia, the Ultrasound Technician because all of these ladies were nothing less than patient, professional, sympathetic, efficient and courteous. Thank you again, Sierra, Connie and Alicia because all of you helped me get through my very sensitive situation during my visit with your kindness, professionalism, courtesy and understanding. Place is busy but one thing I noticed is the employees take their time and doesn't seem to care about the patients wait time. I sat there for an hour just for a hand X-rays for once I asked them how long is going to be they're just in the process of putting my order in the system. Being an imaging worker myself and work in a trauma hospital which is 10 times busier than a clinic, we tend not make our patients wait for more than an hour. Just unprofessional in my opinion. This place does not have any management. I called with my approved referral to schedule an appointment last week. Was told August 2, 2016 at 11 AM. Then I get a call saying we have to switch that to later in the day. Then I get a call saying that they again made another mistake and need to move it by one day. Wait there's more, last call then said we don't have a radiologist working until 7 PM at night. WTF. All this and the order is stat. Requested a call from a manager, never happened. To top it off I just received my sixth phone call asking if I can come in right now. Told them let me check since my wife wish to be with me and I would call them right back. I verified with my wife and called back in 90 seconds. Now they don't know who I spoke with and there is no Stephanie who works there. Please be very careful when dealing with TVI financially. TVI overcharged by hundreds of dollars under the assumption insurance would not cover the services provided, and then proceeded to keep payment from both my wife and the insurer. I would caution not to pay TVI any significant amount of money up front for any procedure, as your recourse will be dramatically limited after the fact. I am very disappointed with their negligent billing practices. Additionally, the care was lacking as well, and caused significant discomfort for my wife. I received an estimate of $300+ for my MRI. I called the billing department to understand the charge. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. "Call scheduling," she told me. I asked why would I call scheduling about a co-pay/invoice. I called scheduling and requested how they came up with this amount. They couldn't answer. I asked the question what happens if I don't pay it when I arrive for my MRI. I also added, send me the bill and once my insurance company reviews it, I will pay it. She told me I must pay for it when I arrive or they will cancel my MRI. I called my Insurance Company (Aetna) and he called scheduling-3 way call. He educated scheduling that there is a contract between Temecula Valley Imaging/RADNET and the invoice is sent to AETNA for their review and then forwarded to me for payment. Problem solved right? No. I arrive for my MRI and the front desk tells me I need to pay. So, here we go again. After they muster and whisper, the woman comes back and tells me " you know you can get billed for this". I responded, " yes, of course, and send it to my insurance company". RUDE and RUDE. I am going to find another In Network provider. This is absurd! read more

I have been waiting for 4 hours, I came in walk in for an X-ray since they don't make appointments for X-ray and signed my name at the front, took a seat and never got called back to the receptionist till 45 minutes later and I had to go up and ask if they checked me in. Her excuse was she has to check in the ultrasound people since they have an appointment. And there are tons of ultrasound patients so those of us who have been here for hours haven't even been checked in to be seen. They close in 45 minutes, I doubt I will be seen tonight. This place is horrible. The staff is so slow and have attitude. They cannot meet appointment times. Then say stuff like 'you should have gotten here sooner'. I arrive 45 minutes before my appointment. They just left me sitting forever before even giving me my paperwork. There is another imaging center just around the corner and you can bet I will be using them from now on. They obviously over book too since there are a ton of people in the waiting room. I went to the Fallbrook office there was no one waiting or having and ultrasound my son had to have his bladder and kidneys check he had to drink 24oz I told them he couldn't hold it anymore they let the technician aware...BS he ended up wetting him self and then they were able to get him in.. Made appointment weeks in advance only to find out the day before they didn't get the authorization in time. Then they promised to call me back to reschedule. Never received a call. Contacted them to find out what was going on, they said they found out my insurance wouldn't approve me using them. Of course there is nothing less than a star. Not even one point of a star. One huge problem is the scheduling staff where you are on hold for such a long time. I've had my phone battery give out twice and had to call again with another phone. Still long waits. I think it's time to quit the old Covid excuse! The schedulers are oblivious, apathetic, and seem to think they are boss. The last one contradicted my doctor's STAT order and I had to suffer for another three weeks. This was after the first one said they had no open STAT appointments and someone would call me. Four days later I waited on hold for the required 30 minutes to be told I didn't need STAT. I am convinced that patients die routinely due to this kind of treatment! There needs to be BETTER training and MORE supervision. I don't buy the "busy" excuse because I'm sure applicants are advised that it can be"busy". There's no excuse for the obnoxious behavior of the arrogant, anonymous strangers on the line who are irresponsible and unconcerned. This is dangerous. While doing this she made 3 phone calls, speaking very loudly, trying to get help with that process. She could give us no idea how long we might have to wait. I have been trying to get an appointment for Nuclear imaging on my Parathyroid Gland since December 6th. I went to their office in Temecula by my home to make an appointment and they told me that I would have to call Murrieta's office to set up the Nuclear Spect Scan for my Parathyroid. They Faxed my Doctor's request form to them and gave me the number to make an appointment. I called them and tried to make an appointment, but was told that they needed information from my doctor's office. I called my doctor, who informed me that they never received anything from Temecula Valley imaging. I called Temecula Valley imaging and gave them the name of the person they needed to talk to and verified the phone number of the Fax machine and my Doctor's office. My Doctor's office said that they Faxed everything requested. I have been calling Temecula Valley imaging consistently every few days to find out the status of my appointment. I keep getting the run around. They tell me that they will email the person I need to speak to, to setup my appointment. Not one person has called me back. I have called and waited for an hour, or more several times waiting to speak to someone. I ended up calling with my cell phone and house phone at the same time to see which phone would be answered first. After an hours time, I hung up and finally got someone who answered only to hang up on me. This has happed to me multiple times. This is totally unacceptable. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and been put on hold aNd then been told that the person I need to speak to has already left for the day! Tell me how in the hell do you treat people this way. I finally found Temecula Valley Nuclear Medicine, Dr. Ernie Meth. I called and they made my appointment at the very moment I called. No waiting No excuses! Everything about this place is great except the staff that answers the phone. I've talked to two different people on the phone here and they were both unprofessional. I understand they're human and some people can't always be the perfect professional but if it's happened twice its more than just a slip up. I was called 3 times to verify my appt for a Sunday (Mother's Day) which I thought was very nice. They seemed to be friendly. I was never given the address, only Temecula Valley Imaging. So I looked it up online and was given the address on Hancock Ave. So that is where I went. Only to find out that they were closed on Sunday. So I looked it up on the phone and this was the only office listed in Murrieta. I called all the phone #'s listed but they were all closed on Sunday. I had no other choice but to go back home. Now I call them Monday AM and they say I was at the wrong address. They tell me it is on Medical Center Dr. NOWHERE online or my phone under their name is this address listed. I am not at all happy about this appt and if it weren't necessary for health reasons, I would not have it done at all read more

Had my appointment in July 2014. Mammogram tech harsh, then ultrasound, went back for biopsy. They had students standing in corner observing. Doctor administered numbing medicine, then biopsy gun. Said ouch 6 to 7 times, then broke down crying. Doctor said, "why you crying, were all done." She poked me many times in my breast and arm pit. Office staff just as bad. Sent letter to Carol and to medical board. Was enrolled in the BCCTP, through medi-cal, want reconstruction, was able to go to City of Hope. Have IEHP, they want me to go to Temecula valley imaging. My mom's experience getting a CT scan was great. . .but the associated admin was terrible. A couple of days before the appointment, i went to pick up the barium she had to drink prior to the scan. There were only a couple of patients in the waiting room. There was a sign in sheet with a note saying everyone should sign in, so i did, then sat down and waited. . .for twenty minutes. The receptionist wasn't busy. Finally, i walked up and asked politely how long i needed to wait to pick up the contrast. She asked if I'd signed in and when i replied yes, she apologized, grabbed two bottles and paper instructions and explained everything immediately. She marked the bottle caps with the appropriate drinking  times to avoid confusion. A few minutes later i was on my way. When we arrived for the procedure, a different receptionist was working. She was pleasant. The procedure was done early because of a no-show before Mom. Then things took a nose-dive. We'd asked for a DVD and the tech said it would take five minutes. A half-hour later, we asked about it and were told they'd forgotten we  were waiting for it. . .yet we were the only people in the waiting area. The next day, Mom read over her paperwork and had a question. She called and was told they were too busy to talk but they'd call her back. It's been three weeks and we're still waiting for that call. read more

My young adult child has high anxiety with anything medical related. Took her for test today and she requested I go back with her. I was curtly advised by the tech taking her back to wait for her in the lobby. When she mentioned that she wanted me to go back with her, I was curtly told "just the patient". Also there was no 24 hour call to remind her of pre-test instructions. The way this was handled left me quite suprised. We should have at the very least been advised politely of any policy and ASKED if there were concerns before being "dismissed" be the gal that took her back. I am fully aware of HIPAA privacy and currently work in the medical field so I am aware of what tests are appropriate for an extra person to be present or not. After learning of potential difficulties with our pregnancy, we had to wait a week before getting in for an ultrasound. Despite being the first appointment of the day, we were kept waiting for 30 minutes, (which was a treat for my wife with a full bladder). We were then told that Fathers aren't allowed to view ultrasounds! This place is terrible. If you were referred here, ask for something different. You have options. Fear for your life!! I called to schedule an appointment. I was on hold for over an hour. Finally Crystal is the girl who made my appointment. She made my appointment for the WRONG body part. So I had to miss an appointment they rescheduled me for today, Sunday. But that's not the end of it. I spent another two hours on the phone with Elena trying to untangle the mess Crystal made of my first appointment. My appointment required nothing by mouth 4 hours prior. I've been fasting today and then I get a call from Polly informing me that after 3 hours on the phone and two different schedulers, Elena scheduled me for the WRONG room today?! I can't go again?! Really? This imaging is important to my life! But these incompetent people couldn't schedule a dog grooming appointment much less important medical appointments. I'm going to complain to my insurance company and supervisor. This is AWFUL service. Shame on this company. read more
