We started with a 2D scan, but as soon as we experienced the 3D/4D scans, we knew there was no going back. Seeing our baby in such detail felt like we were really meeting him even before birth, every little kick, movement, and even facial expression! Week by week, we watched him grow. I'd heard that after 34 weeks, it's hard to see much, but we kept coming at 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 weeks and every visit was magical. When he was finally born at 39 weeks and 4 days, I couldn't believe how perfectly he matched the ultrasound images, his hands, his movements, his little expressions...everything! I feel so thankful for the memories we captured even before our son arrived. Now that I am holding my baby in my arms, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. We arrived at 3:50 for out 4pm gender reveal, there was 12 of us. We ended up waiting until 5:10 to get a room. The kids were thirsty sitting out in the heat as the waiting area was packed and they didn't even have any water or anything to offer. They tried to tack on extra fees at checkout with items that were already included in the package. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the ultrasound tech was very sweet. I loved coming here. I have been here twice now for my pregnancy and both my ultrasound techs were amazing and sweet. They took their time and it was over overall a really great experience. This place is hit or miss. The staff is always really friendly and their packages are super affordable. The issue is more of what tech you get to do your scan. I've been here more than a few times for this pregnancy and my last couple visits were disappointing. The techs seemed rushed to just print whatever pictures that popped up. The image would be a mess in my opinion but they would print off 10 photos of it anyway instead of repositioning and looking again. I ended up leaving with rolls of mediocre images (chunks of the head/face missing, hands or other things in the way). I would've rather come back when baby was turned differently. I'm at the point now in my pregnancy that I don't care to try for anymore scans and will just wait until baby is born. I'm bummed because it was so fun to go and see the scans in the beginning but it's just not worth the money to be disappointed. read more

I had a great experience at the Rancho mirage location with Kelly! She was patient and kind, and very informative. My placenta was blocking the baby for the 4D ultrasound portion of the experience and Kelly didn't give up until we saw a clear picture of my son. I got the seasonal package which included everything and I highly recommend it. Definitely get the 4D ultrasound done before it's too late in the pregnancy. I was referred by a friend to come here. It was such a pleasant visit! I haven't had my first Obgyn appointment yet so my first time I was measured too small and was told to come back the next week. Came back and I got measured a week ahead of original due date. My tech was so patient and kind. Made my little girl in the room watching feel involved. Highly recommend Unique -- first experience with them in 2022 was a mobile scan at our birth center with Sara. She scanned my son at his 18 week anatomy scan. We felt she was thorough and also pleasant. With our second baby, we went to the office for a dating scan at 10 weeks. Sarah P. was the tech for that appointment and we loved her too! Last week we went back for anatomy scan at 20 weeks and were pleasantly surprised to have Sara scan this baby for anatomy too! The office is so cute and welcoming, all the girls go the extra mile, it is super easy to schedule appointments, and I think it says a lot that they retain employees. We wanted to do a gender reveal so she made it fun for us. She kept the reveal in an envelope and gave us a popper (cost was $10 for popper) without telling us what color was inside. 100% recommend this place. We came here for an early scan around 8 weeks, a gender reveal at 14 weeks (which was correct), and then a 3D scan at 29 and 33 weeks. Every time they have been so great, giving high quality pictures and taking their time to get good images for us to take home. Sara scanned our baby multiple times and is a pleasure to be around, and every other tech has been amazing as well. read more

2 stars because 8 years ago I came and got wonderful 4D ultrasounds. Then I came in recently looking for early ultrasounds for a pregnancy, my urine tests were positive and negative. My blood work had came back unsure as well, so I wanted to check via ultrasound. On August 5th a tech confirmed I was about 4 weeks was told I was told I could come back for a rescan on the 11th to see if she could find the tiny baby. Went back on the 11th, the First Lady couldn't find anything so she went to grab the manager, some blonde lady, she came in and barely looked before just simply telling me im just not pregnant, I didn't know how to react so I just made jokes, left the office. I knew she was wrong. Turns out she was extremely wrong as I'm pregnant with TWINS. Do not come here if you're early first trimester. read more

I wrote a review last week about my visit and it's gone now. The owner must pay to take down the bad reviews so people still continue to go to her horrible place. I had to do my ultrasound a little earlier because my husband was going to be sent away for work for 2 months and they were able to get me in soon and had multiple days and times available. The day I got scheduled our baby was being stubborn and didn't want to show us her face so they offered us to come back the next day free of charge. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and did everything they could to make sure my husband and I had the best pictures of our daughter. The room and building was clean and their prices are super affordable. We did the military package and got so many black and white photos, 4 colored photos, a key chain and a usb with the video of the ultrasound. We ended up purchasing a stuffed elephant with her heartbeat for $25 with an additional $5 off coupon we got from the first visit. I will definitely be returning once I hit 30 weeks. read more

Thankfully, while doing our research, my best friend recommended this place since her sister-in-law had a great experience here for her gender reveal. However, on the day of our appointment, as we filled out the paperwork, there was a lot of laughter in the check-in office, which we didn't mind at first. But once we were brought into the ultrasound room, we were surprised to find two girls sitting on the couch, eating snacks and using their phones. I was confused and immediately let my husband know that I hadn't expected to have "company" in the ultrasound room. Fortunately, once my husband spoke up, they left. However, while we were in the room, the female staff remained loud and distracted us with their laughter. While we are glad to have found out the gender and appreciated the nice staff, we were not expecting our experience to be so loud. 6 years later, we're back! Getting the best ultrasounds and care with Tammy. I used acorn birth center so all of my ultrasounds were done through unique ultrasound. Tammy was always quick and efficient with important scans like the anatomy scan. She offered follow ups when things didn't quite look normal, and she took her time getting images of the cutest little smiles and chubby cheeks. She told us the gender accurately, for the third time, and this time we used the confetti cannons for a reveal! Getting a scan was always something we looked forward to. read more

This is my third pregnancy I've experienced here. I am so happy with my experience here. I was able to bring my 4 kids and husband and see our new baby for the first time (13weeks). My youngest is still 1 and needed to nurse during and they were still able to do such a good job. I definitely give this place a 5 star rating! Today Father's Day, June 20th 2021 was a returning visit! The first time I went to this ultrasound place I was 13 weeks and wanted to find out gender! It was a very last minute thing... (Back story on how I found this amazing place) I had an appointment scheduled with another boutique (a lot more pricey if I'm honest) when I arrived to the original boutique I was told that I was put a day prior. I wasn't called to confirm appointment or anything. Then when I drove an hour to go in to see my baby apparently I wasn't on the list. (It was a whole mess) I was very upset with the place because I had scheduled 2 weeks prior and they still managed to mess the dates up! They were booked that whole day and my husband was leaving (active duty military) the next day! so I called Unique Ultrasound hoping they would squeeze me in! And best believe they did! Not only did they tell me gender of my little guy very early on at 13 weeks they made me feel welcome and very comfortable! Amazing staff! The session was cost effective and I got great pics and some goodies! Today was the second time I went in! I finally reached 26-27 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby (same baby as other story) so I was super excited to finally get good detailed images of my little guy! I do have an anterior placenta which makes it harder to get GOOD detailed pics without my placenta in the way! Tammy I believe was my tech today and she was AMAZING! Got every good angle of my baby! For this Father's Day I planned for my husband and I to go in and get the "Father's Day special" session done! It came with so much! Very clear pics! I even paid extra for more print outs and I am VERY pleased and IN LOVE with what I was given today! Again everything was cost effective and I was treated so well! I was given goodies at the end as well and was very well taken care of. I haven't had a bad experience with this place and I will be coming back for future pregnancies. We were out of town recently and looking for a similar business where we could walk in and see our son since my wife likes to check on him regularly. We had our 3D ultrasound appointment on Saturday with Tammy, and my wife and I were very happy with our experience. I checked in on Yelp but of course realized after I already paid about their promo discount... regardless, the office was clean and the staff was friendly. My wife also bought smoke cannons from them a few months ago and they verified the gender again to make sure they gave us the correct color, which was nice of them. All in all, the prices are fair and the photos and bear are nice to have. Having up to 5 people as guests is incredible right now because I'm not able to go with my wife to her OB/GYN appointment so it was nice to be there with her and my mother in law. Sara was so patient with my baby who sadly was just not cooperating, so I had to come back for a 2nd time which to me was still a fail. My purpose to getting this service was to get at least one good ultrasound of my baby for our babyshower that is in 6 days just to be sent home unsatisfied with the quality of my photos. Drove an hr away for not one good photo out of multiple shots. Don't even understand why 95% of what I got was even saved to a flash drive :( read more

I was very worried at first because we got here and since I am 35 weeks 5 days turning 36 weeks there is a probability that we wouldn't be able to see our baby. We weren't told that prior and they don't do refunds. So we settled for a smaller package since it was a gamble and wanted a longer session. The girls however, surprised me and they got wonderful images and pictures of our baby. I am very happy with being able to get to see our baby regardless of how far along I am. The amniotic fluid is a factor to the result of images. But the girls were nice and went above and beyond to turn my frown around. The girl encouraged our baby to move and it was adorable. I didn't feel upset anymore and I am genuinely happy with the results we got. read more
