Have visited this establishment on several occasions. The food is always solid and delicious. On NYE, 4 of us gathered for an early celebratory dinner and we made reservations in advance. We arrived on time with our choice of seating, as it was not too crowded. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly and at no time did she rush us to order. We all had a difficult time making a choice because so many items and specials appealed to us! 2 of us landed on Prime Dip and the other 2 with chicken sandwiches .... All of which were of decent size, especially for the prices - which BTW are budget-friendly! In past visits, we've had burgers and those are top notch also! And the French Onion soup for $6, is worth it!! My only tiny complaint is that when hubby and I want to grab a seat at the bar on a weekend, it's always crowded, bad for us, but great for them!! First trip to this local tavern, restaurant and catering Hall. The food is exceptional especially the Pork Candy which is a crispy pork bellies tossed in a sweet Asian glaze (a definite must try). My entree was another starter called meat& potatoes, which is steak fries topped with cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese shredded short ribs diced tomatoes scallions and sour cream. This is a starter but definitely eats as an entree. Wifey had a Balboa(yes referencing Rocky) cheesesteak. She said very tasty. The service was was good our server was attentive. The ambience isn't fancy more of a bar atmosphere with televisions tuned to sporting events going on. Now when we sat at our table we noticed the table had a sticky feel to it, perhaps it was the solution they use to wipe it down. Nice enough place to try it again. read more

The staff here are always friendly & go above & beyond. The pork candy is a must try appetizer! It is so delicious!! All the meals are filling, but the nachos is a must share dish because you get a lot . They also offer outdoor dining as well as a banquet room for celebrations & a bar. read more

First... Temple Hill is one of the extremely few places open on Monday and Tuesday... thank goodness! I had very little to eat and was starving. I looked at the menu and kind of knew what I wanted. I got the arugula salad. I knew it was dinner size and would be too much, but holy moly, it hit the spot! I didn't even have to ask for extra balsamic. All the flavors were so good together. I also ended up getting the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, which was also very good. It had 2 decent sized chicken breasts on it, so I took one off and cut it up in my leftover salad for lunch tomorrow. I didnt expect, what I consider a beautiful presentation, of the food on the plate. I LOVE steak fries and these were cooked perfect. My waitress was super nice and attentive. First the service here is fantastic, the bartender/server, she was really friendly and accommodating, did not even have to ask and she was ready to refill my drink and even when my meal was done, she asked if wanted another refill and asked me if needed a box since I was getting pretty full, the food here is very rich, plus i have say she definitely their MVP since she handled all customers behind me like a pro without issue. So, the chicken potstickers were very good, very crispy skin, and very hot and great chicken filling, plus the dipping sauce, was sweet and savory, very much loved over the usually savory vinegary sauce that accompany potstickers. Braised short ribs in Guinness sauce, am mixed on it, really wish I had more of the gravy since it was great, but not enough, the short rib was fork tender and good, veggies were perfectly cooked. Now the egg noodles, it said they buttered egg noodles and sadly the noodles were pretty plain, which more gravy from the short ribs would help. I will have to come back and try more here since usually bar food is good, but this place really elevates it. read more

I can't say enough great things about Temple, Hill, Tavern, Catering they are always consistent with their food and drinks. If you are a fan of Guinness, this is the place to have it poured and served. All of the burgers are fantastic, the wings, especially Temple Hill style, are delicious. Wing night is Wednesday! Go there for taco Tuesday night as well, three tacos for five bucks! You can't beat it. Anytime someone is in town visiting, we generally take them there.
