Ordered takeout of Orange Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, House Chow Mein, and Combo Fried Rice. Walnut Shrimp was good, though on a bed of white styrofoam-looking white shells which seemed edible, but we passed after a nibble. Fried Rice was good. Chow Mein tasted ok, but the noddles were way too big. Orange Chicken was a disappointment, too chewy, and most important, no sauce. Nit pick: they didn't ask for how many people, so when we sat down to eat at home, there were two fortune cookies for the three of us. read more

This place is a little diamond in the rough. I eat here a couple times a week. The lunch specials are inexpensive, $7 and the portions are so generous. The service is great, extremely friendly people who aim to please and make you want to come back. The restaurant is very clean. I have lived in this neighborhood for 25yrs and its had mediocre Chinese food the whole time. I was very wary of trying them out. ususally I goto Freeport Blvd for chinese. I am excited to say I don't have to go far anymore. I came here on a Saturday afternoon after work. The world cup was on, the place is small and narrow but clean. I ordered Salt and Pepper Cod extra jalapenos , Braised Tofu with mixed veggies, side rice. The servings were very generous and they did not skimp on the fish. Everything was cooked perfectly, the veggies still had that snap, Not mushy. The sauce was very good as well. the jalapenos were fresh and spicy. Delivery time was average, they use a third party to deliver, my issue was mainly with them as yelp had an error but the order went through. I called and the lady was trying to help with me on the issue. Overall food was good, they give you a good amount. Will definitely come back. read more

I placed an order to go, this food was decent and prepared super fast, super hearty- kind of like Chinese fast food, only taste good when warm not the type of Chinese food you would want to save for leftovers, chowmein was good, sweet and sour tasted like rubber, and the crab rangoons were salty, I would say Panda Express taste fresher then the food here, and prices were more then Panda Express prices. They way I can describe this in one word- boring. Food is so tasteless. I ordered war wonton, orange chicken, beef broccoli, house fried rice and salt and peeper shrimp. Temple house food is A-1 for real. It is also very fair prices and portions I promise. I'm so proud of them in a time where everywhere you go it's terrible food and terrible service. I have to make this common because of the two lady down there that's only writing up what they want you guys to see and I was the one that called the cops on them. If their friends and other people say we were good why do you guys think they're saying the restaurants is bad? This is what happened. They have order two combination plate and soup and two bottled water. that are both chickens but different flavor of course they going to taste like chicken but with different flavor on them. And she said all she has is one piece of chicken how does she know the rice taste bad??? And one of the reason they have is this Chinese food they order doesn't taste like other Chinese restaurants food they taste before. But they only want to pay for the soup which they completely finish and one bottle of water that it's open. We have explain so many times that's the flavor of the chicken it's how we cook it and they don't taste the same. She even say there's a little chilly on it of course that's how we cook it. And she don't want to pay for the other bottle of water but when I went to their table there was gum on top of the water bottle then after she say she will pay for that bottle to but not the 2 combination plate. So I call the cops on them we didn't wait for few mins we waited for lot longer then that but is all good because is not something crazy need to handle railway. And when we were wait for the cops they were being super loud in the restaurant laughing. But luckily there was not much customer at the time. And yes they want to pay just never for the 2 combination plate but the craziest reason is nothing like it taste of that it's just because they don't like it. At the end we ask for half of the 2 combination plate they order to be pay. Even when the cops are there they don't even want to pay for the half. But at the end they did. And of course we ask if they still want the food after they pay if not we going to throw it away. She said no and just keep asking me back why do I need to pay for the food if you guys going to throw it away at the end? She must think food just fall from the sky or something and all we did is catch it and put in a box and give it to them. One last thing is when I ask her is if I order $1000 worth of food and it was all done making it but I don't like it is that means I don't need to pay for anything at all? The one start I am giving is for the nice customer service. The food was not good at all! I ordered orange chicken with Chow mein, crabmeat with cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup and veggie plate. The orange chicken tasted like it was made an hour before it was delivered. The veggies were soo over cooked. Too Soft and mushy. The wontons tasted like They were fried hours before I got them and just no taste at all. The hot and sour soup was decent , I was sick when I ate these so the soup wasn't good to me and it might be good for others. I will not be getting food from here again :( waste of money read more
