It's a bar after 6pm. We showed up for our reservation w a 14 year old at 7:30 and they wouldn't seat us.

My three friends and I checked out Tenfold Rooftop on Saturday November 23,2024. I learned from the week before that I needed to make a reservation to get into the place. I made a reservation for four people for Saturday 11/23/2024 at 10:30 pm. We showed up a little before 10:30 pm and checked in. They made us wait for twenty plus minutes past the reservation time. We were promised that we would get in after the large group in front of us and that didn't happen. After we got to the rooftop it was just okay. The views were amazing ,but the place was smaller than expected. The service was not up to par in my opinion. The service was a little slow and my friend was told twice that the cocktails he wanted were unavailable. The drinks were not good at all. We all didn't like our drinks. I got the House of the Setting Sun cocktail. It was not a pleasant experience. It wasn't worth the money to me. We were one drink and outta there. We didn't try the food. I can't in good conscience recommend this place as a good rooftop bar. There are better rooftop bars I think are way better. Definitely check out 1 Watson and The Moon's Daughters. Both are excellent rooftop bars with amazing views. I hope that Tenfold gets better,but I will not be back to see for myself. read more

The drinks and food were great! The ambiance was incredible. The view was flawless. However, the service lacked. We were staying at the hotel and went to Tenfold when we first arrived for a quick drink. We had an awkward interaction with the staff because we walked right past the unmanned host stand... although we really just wanted to sit at the bar. Also we ordered food and drinks while we were at the pool and that also took forever. My food didn't arrive after 45 minutes of waiting so I asked the host and he said there was a schedule change. The server helping me moved downstairs so he would have them make the food right away. At that point I expected him to offer to have it brought to my room or cancel the order. I had to ask to have it delivered to my room. read more

Loved the decor and the ambiance! We were immediately seated when we got to the bar. It helped that we had reservations, granted, we got there at 12:30 PM on a Sunday. We decided to go with 4 of their appetizers (pictured). While they were good, the portions did not match the price. This place is pricey. Service was on point. We were attended to immediately and our waitress was nice enough to describe each appetizer. On top of this, I ordered a cocktail that had coconut and mezcal. I soon realized that I did not like it so our waitress was nice enough to replace it with wine. Parking is $20 if you use the lot beside the hotel; otherwise, you have the option to valet park. Really nice place is South Alamo. Will I return? Not sure but I am glad we tried it out! read more

Pro tip; Secure a reservation! Although I did not get to fully enjoy Tenfold I really did appreciate the atmosphere and professionalism of the establishment. The seating is terrific but what beats everything is the view! I hope to return and enjoy the rooftop bar for what it is. You can still make a reservation and wait it out downstairs at the bar in Dean's steak and seafood. Hope to visit again! read more

The place had just opened a few days earlier, so I knew there might be some hiccups, but I didn't expect the night to go the way it did. When we arrived, the hostess at the base of the hotel checked us in. We were a little early, and she suggested we wait at Dean Bar downstairs, which had a cool vibe. We decided to hang out outside instead and save our drinks for upstairs. Once we got the text that our table was ready, we headed back to the hostess, and she sent us up in the elevator. Things went sideways when we got to the top floor. Somehow, they ended up seating another couple at our table. With no other tables available, we had to go back downstairs and wait. At this point, it was already 30 minutes past our reservation. After another 10 minutes, we were finally seated, but the hostess downstairs didn't even seem to recognize us as the same couple she had just sent up. We were there for the 10x course--a big draw for the restaurant, featuring 10 different dishes from around the world. But in the hour-plus we waited, not one dish came out, and drinks were nowhere in sight either. Our waitress checked on us just once during the whole time. After waiting for over 45 minutes for my wife's glass of wine, I decided it was time to call it quits. I asked to speak with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and explained our frustrations. She apologized, mentioned they were understaffed, and offered us a couple of half-off coupons to try them again. But honestly, I'm not sure if we'll be back, considering we didn't even get to taste any of the food or drinks. After leaving, we had to scramble to find somewhere else to eat and didn't sit down for dinner until 10:30 PM. If I could suggest one thing, it would be for them to rethink how they manage reservations and seating. I noticed some groups kind of muscling their way onto the elevator without reservations, which just added to the chaos. The place is small and with only a few seats at the bar, there's really no room for people to wait upstairs. And several groups of people helped themselves to the couch seating around the dining area, which is intended as reservation only seating for dinner. I witnessed a manager go and speak with that group and instead of asking them to leave, 5 minutes later he brought out a bottle of champagne. I hope Tenfold Rooftop can iron out these issues because the concept is cool, but the execution was seriously lacking. read more

We went here for a rooftop dinner/app and the service was not the best. Waiter disappeared for a while. The drinks were either too sweet or tasted like water. We ordered the salmon which was drowned in truffle oil, way too much. The fried oysters was the best thing we had, but still not very fresh and we ordered the grilled octopus that was very overcooked and did not pair well with the sauce and the chimichurri was very old and not refreshing at all.
