On the menu it is Burrito Al Pastor but I wasn't feeling pork at the moment. The burrito is smothered in salsa verde, queso, cilantro and onion and filled with steak, rice and beans. It was REAL steak. Not the small choppy pieces of beef some places give out. The burrito was the length of my forearm! Flavor was great! Service was spectacular. I've been to Tequila's so many times at this point (at least once a month ) because it really is that good. The food is consistently delicious, and the asada fries are an absolute MUST have... seriously, AMAZING. Every dish I've tried has been spot on, which keeps me coming back again and again. Very solid, run-of-the-mill American style Mexican food. Service is friendly and quick. My meals have always been tasty and my margaritas strong! The chips are on the thicker side and the salsa is pretty thin. Important to note - this is a good example of typical Mexican restaurant food. This place rocks! My boyfriend and I originally were goi g to a place next door but thry iffered only carryout,so our visit to Tequila was not planned. We were pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The skillet they always bring it out on was seriously like half full. It was also more money for the one with the shrimp so we got it and it came with THREE damn shrimp. We were soooo disappointed. Waste of money for what we got. Fajitas come with a full skillet. Not half the skillet still showing. We had 9 people in our party Saturday night. The reviews at the table ranged from 'it was pretty good' to 'it was okay' to 'you don't have to eat that.' Seriously, look at the photo. The menu photo of a chicken sandwich looked so different than this. Immediately we commented on the very flat, skinny, smashed bun and peice of chicken. Definitely our go to when we want great Mexican food. The food and drinks are always delicious. I always get chicken fajitas with chorizo added on top. My fiancé is a big fan of their fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Salsa, guacamole, queso are all good! The Cadillac margaritas are my favorite.
