This was a bit of an unremarkable dining experience for me. The food was definitely overpriced for the quality you got in my opinion. I got the create your own combo with a cheese quesadilla and two enchiladas. The quesadilla was no frills, literally what I could make at home. We also got the Mexican street corn, which was good but came out cold. The service was slow and getting our food was also slow. I felt like we got forgotten about quite a bit because we were in the corner. The best part about the whole thing was the robot that carried the food to our table, that was unique! read more

Las Fuentes was pretty unremarkable. I'm making allowances for the fact that we ordered carryout and your food always degrades a bit on the way home. The store was nice and clean and the staff was plenty friendly but those were the best points. The chips and salsa were decent and I can tell the chips would be great served fresh from the kitchen. On the other hand, I found my fajita quesadilla to be of the quality that I would throw together in a few quick minutes for a midnight snack, so it was ok but not at all what I expect from a restaurant. I used to like Las Fuentes but I stopped going there. The last few times I had food there were not great. The chicken was tough every time like it had been cooked and reheated or just overcooked. Also they stopped giving all the items with fajitas and make you pick two and pay extra for the rest. I started going to Tequilas which still gives all the sides with fajitas and the chicken is always tender and juicy. read more

Got in a line at 5:10 that wrapped through their parking lot and out onto the road and waited for an hour and forty minutes. Made it to the doors at 6:40. PISSED. They got too overwhelmed so they cancelled orders. Including mine. After an hour and a forty minutes in line. They should have stopped taking new orders until they got caught up. This is in our neighborhood, so we've been here quite a bit. The food is fresh and portions are huge! They have taco Tuesday specials, and Daily drink happy hour specials. We've never had to wait very long for a table, because we always try to go "off peak". They are in a strip center, so might be hard to notice off the street. Give them a try! read more

We order from Las Fuentes on Telegraph in St Louis quite often but, tonight will likely be the last time. We ordered 2 entrees, 1 ala cart item and 1 large order of Queso and chips. The entrees came with 2 sides. One was ordered with 2 sides of rice and the other was ordered with rice and a garden salad. The 3rd order was ala carte so it did not come with sides. After we got the order home, there was no garden salad. the chips have changed. they used to be homemade but now they come from a bag. The worst problem though, is when we eat IN the restaurant, you get chips and endless salsa. Well, the salsa came in a very small styrofoam cup and there were less than 4 ounces of salsa. Now, that means less than 1/2 a cup. That was not enough salsa for even 1 person and, we are 3 adults. We paid over $63.00 for dinner so, should we not expect more salsa? This was very disappointing and infuriating. So, it's likely hasta la vista Las Fuentes. read more

I got a curbside order on 2/16 when roads were terrible. I get home to find no tortillas for my fajitas. I called and was told they would give me extra tortillas the next time I came in. I asked if they would make a new order for me or a refund since I had to drive back up there in the snow and was told no. Terrible customer service. They don't know how to make this stuff in Chicago. We *almost* delayed the drive home to pick some up to-go as a road trip snack! Taco salad though, not good. I asked for no sour cream, but I think between the guacamole and the grease from the chicken, it ended up making taco salad gray soup in the bottom of my shell. I picked at it but ultimately ended up making do with more cheese and chips! The cheese is good, the Diet Coke is fountain and the chairs have different brightly colored animals and birds on them. I visited Las Fuentes today. This little place is great. The menu is full of great items. I know this seems immature, but I like the menu because it is very descriptive and has pictures for most of their dishes. I tried the fish tacos. They were not all that authentic but they were very good. And the plate came with 4 of them plus rice and beans. I also tried the Alambra dish. This was very good too with different meats (I think chorizo, ham, and beef) served over corn tortillas. I also tried a chile relleno as a side. This too was very good. This place is a bit of a drive for me so I'm not sure I will be back anytime soon. But I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some good Mexican food in the oakville area. read more

This wasn't a bad little strip mall Mexican restaurant. It was pretty clean and the menu was pretty large. I ate lunch here on a Saturday afternoon with two other people. I ordered a Quesadilla that had beans, chorizo, cheese, and a few vegetables in it. Not something I'd normally order but it was good. I asked for no sour cream but there was still a little dollop on the plate. Since it wasn't touching the quesadilla no problem. My two lunch dates enjoyed their meals and we were on our way. We've gone here for years. I have a Bunco group that would meet here monthly and we've all brought our families here for years. In the last year it's gone down hill terribly. The food quality has decreased dramatically in the last year. The menu is more expensive and the service is not nearly up to par. The waitress literally told the 6 of us to leave that they had a wait list (please note they did NOT have a wait. They had 1 family of 3 who was waiting on a server to finish clearing off their table.) We've been going here for years and have never been treated so horribly. Needless to say they've lost multiple customers. But clearly it's not a concern for them anymore. I miss the old days.
