Came here for lunch because I was craving fajitas. The service was terrible. They showed us to a table that was still dirty with plates of half-eaten food and we had to ask them to wipe it off. The food was mediocre at best. Queso was very runny, the chips were over cooked, and the salsa was okay. I've had much better. I had the fajitas and most of the vegetables came out raw. My husband tried the mole con pollo and was also not impressed. At the end of our meal, I had to hunt down our server to ask for our check, as she never came back to check on us. Holy Mole`. This place is awesome. We rode here on our bicycles from Indy today. I had the Fajita Chicken Burrito. not only was it fantastic but the presentation was wonderful. We've learned to NOT go during high volume time bc everything just kinda moves at a snails pace. This is our favorite local go-to for Mexican food. We live in Pittsboro but Tequila Sunrise is under 10 minutes away in Brownsburg. My favorite entree to get is the Carnitas and I always personalize it with my own substitutions since I don't like beans or green bell peppers. I get extra rice and fresh jalapeños instead. I also add on shredded cheese. No matter though, they are very accommodating. They also have a delicious spicy mango margarita. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is great! Phe-nom-nom-nom-enal! Took my wife here today after an appointment. The only disappointment is that I live 50 minutes away! I had enchiladas Del Mar and she had some cheese enchiladas with green sauce. Literally every item on our plates was great. The salsa was good. The chips were so-so in my opinion, but who cares? The waiter we had was an absolute gentlemen. He served with a smile and brought us our food quickly as well as helping us choose our meal. I regret not ordering meat because my husband's plate was fuller and more delicious, but that's for another time, I suppose. The Horchata was AMAZING and very, very large for the price. Tried for the first time. We were seated right away but it took several minutes for someone to bring us water and take our drink order, but we received chips and salsa right away. It took several more minutes to receive our drinks. Then it seemed like a long time before our server came back to take our food order. We ordered an appetizer which arrived after our dinner arrived. My young daughter ordered a hamburger, but a cheeseburger arrived, which we sent back for one with no cheese, which came in a timely manner. She also ordered a strawberry smoothie which they have translated into a strawberry shake, apparently (it came with whipped cream and a cherry on top). My dinner was tasty (pollo a la cilantro) and my husband enjoyed his burrito. Our appetizer was the beans with cheese, which was way more cheese than beans. Not was I was expecting but it tasted good. My husband and I had a $1 margarita which we both agreed was too sugary. Neither one of us finished it. Seems like your typical mexican restaurant with most of the menu. If you don't like the standard mexican choices there are some different items on the menu that seem to have a mexican flare to them. I just think that there are plenty of mexican restaurants around the area that this one is just ok with me, nothing special. read more

Disappointed! After reading all the positive reviews, my wife and I went for dinner tonight. We waited quite a while just to find the hostess to put our name in for the wait. We ordered the Queso to go with our chips and salsa, and it was very salty. I ordered the chicken fajitas, I was very disappointed with them. The chicken look liked it had been hounded flat, and then cut into strips that were still connected at the ends. I would like to start off with saying our first two visits were very good. We are from Crawfordsville and have referred friends to the restaurant. Our recent visit on March 21, 2016 was a disaster! All three visits my husband has ordered Monday special All you can eat tacos. And he can eat tacos! Only on this visit they must have changed their policy. After eating 7 tacos he ordered another round which they brought 4 more. Because of wasted time by our waitress ( it took forever for her to take our order) we had to leave to pick up our grandson, and we're going to take last 3 home. We couldn't find her to get our ticket so we went to register and there she was. Unfortunately we were informed that we could not take the extra 3 tacos home, even though we had in the past visit. It was Dine In Only. To top it off my meal was all messed up and I was very polite on returning to get it right even though it took 3 times.
