My husband and I decided to try this place based on the amazing reviews. We didn't get our hopes up since we've lived in this area 28 years and really great restaurants are sadly lacking in Brevard county. But this place really knocked our socks off. This was hands down the best Mexican food we've ever had! My husband had the Pollo Borracho and I had the Carnitas and both were excellent. The pork was so tender and juicy and seasoned just right. His chicken was cooked perfectly and was juicy and delicious. We also ordered the queso and added some hot sauce to give it a kick and it was fabulous. The house margarita was also good and as an added bonus, it was BOGO the day we went. We were too full for dessert or ice cream so next time I think we'll split an entree. It was a lot of food and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was Erin and it was only her third day but she was so helpful navigating the extensive menu and helping us make our choices. This place is only good for steak and shrimp. If you order any burritos tacos or enchiladas you will have eaten the worst food in your entire life. This is a rare gem in this area. A friend told us about this restaurant and since it served Mexican food, I had to try it. My wife and I were seated immediately and served chips and salsa. The chips were crisp and fresh and the salsa was moderately spicy and very good. We ordered tostones (which my wife loves) for an appetizer. They were perfectly prepared and delicious. For an entre my wife ordered ground beef tacos and refried beans and I ordered seafood enchiladas with a guacamole salad and refried beans. It was all very good. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area since I moved here from Texas and Tequila Veintiuno is the best I've found. This is our go to restaurant for good Mexican food. read more

Food was good, but the reason for the stars is for the owner. I ordered the veggie quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered the veggie burrito. He's highly allergic to carrots, and when we received our plates we instantly noticed and sent it back. The owner said we'd still have to pay for it even though we didn't touch it. We explained to her of his allergy and she complained like it was our fault for not knowing the plate would come with carrots and we explained that her menu doesn't give more information about what specific veggies go in the veggie burrito. She kept talking over my boyfriend and i and told us that either way we were still responsible for paying for his UNTOUCHED plate. RIDICULOUS!! Omg omg omg!! Get the burrito 21. Only been there once take out, but the whole family got the burritos and we had the Queso fundo(that's not what it's called but get it) and get it with the chorizo. The pictures of the drinks look amazing and the deals for them sound good so i will be making another trip to dine in. This place is actually pretty good. The flavors they use in there meat make every bite enjoyable. Also the price of the food is good considering their portions are pretty big. We didn't have a chance to stay and enjoy the food there because we ordered out, but would like to come back to see how the customer service is. My fiance and I love this place! Lucky for us..it's right down the road from my house. We've at it at least 4 times and the food has been amazing every time. My first experience was a different one. I walked in to a manager yelling at a server about some nonsense. The hostess stopped eating her food to greet me without a single use of even hand sanitizer as she grabbed my silverware. Once I was seated a man came out dressed in a regular shirt to hand me my and my family our chips. As we get ready to order I can hear the "manager " speaking down on her staff in my eyes this was very unprofessional. A server came over to me with a smile, greeted me took my drink order every single question I had she answered I was admired by her knowledge of the menu she seemed excited to be at work as she walked away the way she limped I could tell something was wrong, she came back to the table holding all 6 drinks on a tray I was surprised even more surprised at the teamwork that the others servers showed her they knew she was in pain I watched them check in with her , help her service us when our food came. Once the young lady told us what was wrong I was shocked. Shocked that she was working with the injury that she has. What started off as what I thought was gonna be a bad experience quickly turned around. The food was good I am a picky eater so the server made sure she mad the modifications needed. Towards the end of the meal I watched the manager walk around and check on tables. She didn't acknowledge us instead she must have noticed some familiar friends and decided to sit and talk to them instead. So I'm on here to give my server and her team mates the proper thank you a good tip just wasn't enough. Great job ladies you guys are the reason why we will be returning. It was our first time trying this restaurant. There are a couple two person tables outside and plenty of seating inside. We were seated right away and chips and salsa were delivered to the table immediately. Delicious salsa not to spicy. We went on Taco Tuesday evening and it was busy. Very friendly service. The staff seem to help each other out and the manager was in house. Food was tasty. Not dependent on salt for flavor but freshly cooked. I would definitely return to Tequila Veintiuno again. The food we tried was cheese dip (the closest I've had to a favorite restaurant in Atlanta, GA), Taco Tuesday 3 taco for $7, and Chile Relleno. (If you like salty food you will need to ask for salt at the table - that is not a criticism. If you are on a salt restricted diet this is the best I've eaten.) read more

Best Mexican in town. Love the Molcajete bowl. Loaded with steak, chicken, pork, and chorizo, avocado, and more. The tortilla soup is great as well. But watch out, it is a huge serving. We've tried this restaurant three different times now and still not impressed. We want to like it. The decor is cute, it's very clean, and the service is very good - it's the reason for three stars. The food is what we can't get passed. Value vs quantity is underwhelming, all three times We've been here the food is just warm (hint, when you bring out the food and the cheese isn't melted it's a very good indicator the food isn't hot). The worst salsa ever (it's a liquid texture, not chunky) and the chips aren't hot. There are just several other Mexican restaurants around that offer better food. read more

I was over visiting in Cocoa and we decided to try Tequila Veintiuno for lunch. What a great surprise! The service was fantastic and the restaurant is clean and well appointed. The food was out of this world wonderful! I had the Rice bowl with Carnitas and couldn't have been happier. Lots of tender flavorful pork roasted to perfection atop cilantro rice, beans and a "salad" of avocado, lettuce and corn. One friend had the bbq chicken and pineapple quesadilla and the other opted for the steak and cheese burritos. Both great choices as well. We shared a plate of fried plantains that were perfectly cooked-slightly crispy on the outside but tender onside. My only regret is that there isn't this quality of Mexican food on the west coast of Florida. I think road trips 3 1/2 hours across the state may become more frequent now. read more

The food here is really good and has generous helpings. It has a little twist on your favorite Mexican restaurants which makes it above average. The full bar and bartender make good strong drinks and they have a good selection of beer. It is a large restaurant and very popular, more so than the previous restaurant there.
