I naturally have natural blonde roots and grays, both I love and wished my previous stylist embraced that versus always telling I HAD to dye it to cover it all up. :( I kept asking for a base bump but it never happened. I found Cristy on instagram & fell in love with her work (CristyJeanHair - check out her awesome gallery there). When I met Cristy for a consultation I told her my situation and how I am tired of dying my base. She totally agreed with me and knew exactly how to remedy the situation. She looked at my eye color and my skin tone and decided on exactly what blonde tones would be best for me. I should mention I had 4 months of growth at this point. So my natural roots were ALL out, baby! haha! I had a mess in the back as well with a hard copper band and only partial highlights. Ugh! It wasn't pretty. But Cristy cleaned all that up as well. I was so impressed with Cristy's professional knowledge. She is incredibly talented and yet incredibly humble and modest at the same time. She listens so well which is such an important trait to possess in a stylist. Even for my haircut I just told her I wanted a cleaning up dustying and NO razor. I like traditional layered cut since I have curly hair and that's exactly what she delivered. Yay! Cristy also told me she always booking more classes to further her education and continually hone her already mad skills. Love that!! Needless to say I am very happy with my cut and color We did a base bump with toner and it looks fantastic. Been wanting a base bump since I left LA 4 years ago. So happy to get back to that. My routine is now simply using a boar bristle brush, a cleansing cream and a hydrosol - that's literally it. This stylist used a toner that was way too dark for my hair, which stained my blonde hair and turned it DARK brown. As you can see from the photos, this wasn't even remotely close to what I asked for. She was unable to remove the dark pigment after using a remover twice, and promising that my hair would return to how it was before. Now I'm stuck with dark brown hair with a weird orange undertone that's turning more orange by the day. Extremely disappointed by this experience. I've never been this unhappy with my hair, and I can't even look at myself in the mirror. The stylist said she would reach out to me regarding scheduling another appointment for a correction, but she never did. Hopefully others don't have a similar experience.

Then it was time for touch up on my extensions and during conversation again in text discussing this she quoted price different from previously quoted price. When i asked questions inquiring about this and asking how long appointment would be so i can schedule care for my 7yr old not knowing how long this would take, she snapped texting me telling me she recently fixed her mother's home health insurance and no longer needed to kiss any clients ass. She continued by disrespecting me telling me not to come to my appointment and then had audacity to continue texting telling me she found someone else i can see that has a ad on craigslist that works out garage. I have all of the texts i wish i could post the screenshots as it is so unbelievable but TRUE! i started my first appointment with her spending almost 1000$ and saw her many many times every month for 4 months spending hundreds during every visit to keep working on my hair to get it right. The first day i left the tape extensions she used were visible to others as people pointed it out, very embarrassing. But once i started kind felt stuck as i had already invested 1000$.
