This place is such a hidden gem for me. I found this spot on yelp a couple years back while working around the area and craving sushi. I've only had their sushi rolls and they hit the spot everytime. The service is always super friendly and nice. Whether I order in person or over the phone. It can get busy and packed so if you're on a time crunch I suggest ordering over the phone. The ambience is pretty calm. The rolls always taste fresh and I can tell the sushi chef loves what he does. Overall this place is my go to for sushi. read more

Food is still as good as before all this price hikes, service is good and professional as well. Just a little disappointed with the food portions especially with the beef teriyaki and sushi roll. They are 2/3 the size of how it used to be, and it was served in a nice bento box. read more

The tempura is made better than many restaurants. The spicy tuna roll is actually spicy and good. The spicy pork and spicy chicken is just spicy enough. Living alone, I get take out and the order is always ready in the time I am told. The waiting area is always clean and well kept. They have a great menu with many fusion sushi's. They are located in a funky shape building on busy Atlantic Boulevard. There are not many customers there and I see many take out. Their sushi's are great if you like it with an American twist. I don't think they are open late. read more

My go to for any Japanese food! The price for the portion size is reasonable, Ive dined in and had it for take out. I've only ever seen two people working there and they both polite and kind. The usual teriyaki sushi place close to my work was closed, but I was craving sushi so much so I looked around and it was very close to my work, in a nice little corner. December 2021 - Went there for lunch. 1 Salmon Bento Box 1 Bugolgi Bento Box 2 rolls 1 can coke $75!!! Just wow! Never in my life have I ever paid this much in a sushi restaurant for this amount of food. I placed a phone order expecting some normal prices so I never asked how much it was. I had been here many years ago and on a whim decided to give it another try. Small place on the corner with shared parking lot. Maybe it was the evening I went, but the line to order was out the doors and it was a cold, damp night. Service was friendly and the menu offers something for everyone. Placed my order and they gave me a thirty minute wait time. The place is very small with a few tables inside. Set my phone timer and waited in my car. I went back in and my order was ready as promised. The cashier checked my bag to make sure I had chopsticks, soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi. Got home and dug in...I got the machu pichu and the fire roll. The sushi rolls are creative and flavors just go well together. Rolls are big and I got full without completely finishing. My favorite go-to sushi spot! It's walking distance from my house and we have to make it a bi-weekly dinner meal I get the Machu Pichu and it is by far the best cream cheese roll I've ever had! Wow, what a hidden Gem of a place! I discovered this wonderful restaurant while living near East Los Angeles. I wanted Sushi and didn't want to travel far with traffic (when there was traffic) so we decided to try this place out. Boyyyy am I glad we did. We've eaten at the 100$ sushi places in Santa Monica and downtown and NONE of these restaurants even come close to what Teriroll has to offer! It is a family owned business, who not only has bombbb sushi but phenomenal service. I was blown away with how friendly and accommodating the staff is. It's hard enough finding good service in LA but match that with a delicious sushi roll and I'll never eat another over priced sushi place again! The rolls are thick and tasty. Not 30$ for a small 6 piece roll that doesn't even taste good! The sushi alone would make me go back but the service and price is why I will never eat another sushi place besides Teriroll.
