I feel like there aren't many decent AYCE sushi spots in Seattle, but Sumo is definitely one of the better options! With several locations in the greater seattle area, my friends and I stopped by recently for dinner. They have two different prices for dinner -- $27 vs. $33, my friends and I opted for the $33 since that came with Sashimi. You collectively order on an app, about 15 items every 15 minutes. Food either gets brought out by servers or little robots, and there's a hot bar with different fried fruits, veggies, and sweets for while you wait! My personal favorites were the seared salmon and salmon sashimi, my friends and I got a ton of those. We ordered a few rolls as well, however everything came out a bit staggered and we weren't really sure what rolls we were eating. For an AYCE restaurant, I appreciated how attentive the service was! I feel like our table was checked on frequently, we had our drinks refilled often, and everyone was kind. Definitely coming back here!

My husband and I came here for an impromptu lunch. The whole restaurant had a really cute vibe and decor, the wait staff was quick and helpful and the food portions were good without being overbearing. We got a lot that I didn't take photos of but overall the sushi rolls were delicious, the options were plentiful and we will definitely be back. 4.5/5

We had access to the silver dinner menu on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't super busy and we were seated with no wait. I think the quality of everything was pretty fair for the price and I felt as though it was worth it for what we paid. There was a little hot bar which was a nice touch for some chicken wings and miso soup. There was also an option to sort of make a boba, but I found the self serve Thai tea to be overly sweet. The waitress we had was really attentive which was a plus as well. I think I'd definitely make a trip back if I had a group feeling ayce sushi!

First time at this location. We usually go to the Sumo in Tacoma but decided to stop by since we were in the area. Some differences that we noticed was how small and sad the hot bar is compared to Tacoma. Everything looked like it's been sitting out for a while and half of it wasn't even stocked. Now for the sushi. The rolls at this location are LOADED with rice. Probably 2x more than the usual amount we are used to. Even though it's mostly the same menu as every Sumo, this location seems to be a shell of what it usually is.

All you can eat sushi for an affordable price for the quality of sushi. I've been here a few times already and the menu is always upgrading which is nice and always looking forward to trying new things. You can order 15 items every 15 minutes. My all time favorite is the seared salmon, it melts in your mouth. The best part is I can order as many seared salmons as I want. They have fried oysters that are flaky and crispy. Yellowtail with jalapeño sashimi that's refreshing with a nice kick of spice. They have a hot foods bar and boba station but don't be fooled by that and just order the sushi.! The service here has never been disappointing. Everyone here is so kind and place is always clean.

Came here to eat and the sushi was good. The service was great and they were very attentive. As far as the quality, there are other AYCE sushi places that are better. This was good for the price.

We decided to try SUMO an all you can eat sushi spot while we were in the area. Thought we could try multiple things without spending an arm and a leg. The hostess sat us promptly she was super friendly, explained how everything works from ordering to left overs etc. We placed our drink orders with here and then scanned the QR code to order our food. There were things we didnt really like and others that were sooo good. But we definitely over ordered some things and we were stuffed. There were some things we couldn't finish and we paid for those at the end for the food waste. The dragon eye roll was my favorite and the steak was cooked to perfection. The ninja roll was also really good and I usually dont like fried rolls. The restaurant was spacious, had a salad bar, cute decor and little robots that brought out your orders. Overall good experience and good food.

Tried the AYCE Sushi for lunch. Around $23. There's a good variety of sushi rolls. For lunch, its a limited menu compared to the pricier dinner, so no nigiri, sashimi, etc. But you'll definitely get your fill. There's a salad bar and a hot bar as well. Hot bar didnt look appetizing with the food you'd find at a grocery store deli. Probably trying to get you filled up from eating too much sushi, hah. Service is also great. At the end of your meal, the only dessert option is the salad bar and a ice cream case filled with okay quality packaged ice cream. Not fantastic sushi. Its decent but nothing to rave about. Great price though for lunch.

This place is fun! I like AYCE places and this place is clean and well organized. You order what you want on your phone and the cute robot brings you the food. There are some rules where you can only order a certain number of dishes and you can only order again after maybe 20 minutes or something like that. And you will be charged for leftovers (so don't waste food!). They will explain all the rules to you. There's also a small salad bar that was things like seaweed salad and edamame and they also have BOBA!! There are toppings and there were three options - I think it was thai tea, milk tea, and a mango fruit tea. I got the fruit tea with lychee jelly. I went for lunch which is cheaper and it doesn't include sashimi or nigiri or premium items, but you can opt to pay up for the dinner price to get access to everything. I just did the cheaper lunch because there are plenty of options. The quality is what you would expect for AYCE - it's not the best but it was pretty good for what it is! They also have non-sushi items, like unagi donburi, gyoza, and udon noodles! My server was great - explained everything well and was super nice! It was fun to get to try a variety of dishes. I would go back! Come hungry (but don't order more than you can eat cuz you'll pay for it!)!

First time here! Wait time took a very long time... food was delicious. Flavorful. If food was more prompt it would've been worth it. Nice ambiance. They can cater to large parties. Service was nice. Liked that they had the option for walk up salad and fries , shrimp. Quite the experience with robots taking you food. Maybe it was the fact we ordered ramen that took long? Overall glad we got to try it.

So Delicious ! I love the variety and everything is so yummy! We will come back! The robot is cute too

Came here for dinner with a group of 5. The wait was pretty long but I think it was worth it for the food. Even if you're not a big seafood fan, they have other options too like chicken and rice dishes, noodles, fries, etc. you have a 2 hour limit and as a group can order a total of 15 items every 15 minutes. If there's leftovers, they charge you. Food is pretty filling. Some dishes are really tiny and others are large and filling so just be mindful of how much you order. We were pretty stuffed after an hour. They also have a limited selection of make your own boba tea included in the all-you-can-eat. The cool part is the robots that deliver the food. They're quiet and sneaky sometimes and if you wait too long to take the food off, they run away with your food lol. Food was worth the price and plenty of seating, and lots of parking. Overall a cool experience and I'd come back again!

Love coming here! There has been a little change from the last time I've been here, they added a silver menu & a gold menu with different options/prices. Food is delicious and quick, if it is busy some items will take a while. Decor is lovely and the buffet section is good to have while waiting for food. They have robots that deliver the food which is pretty neat but waiters could check on you more to refill water.

The interior is HUGE and can easily fit a couple of hundred people if not more. They have a bar in the front and a small resting area, which needs to be bigger to accommodate the people standing around waiting for a table. Despite the size of the restaurant, they only use a quarter of their restaurant at a time, likely because they lack workers. On a weekday evening at around 7pm, we waited over 40 minutes for a table even though there was plenty of seating to be had. Tokyo serves a variety of different meat and combo options including filet mignon, chicken, scallops, ribeye, shrimp, calamari, etc.. Each combo comes with miso soup, side salad (iceberg lettuce with tomato and shredded carrot with ranch) , and a bowl of white rice with the option to upgrade your rice to fried rice for $6 more. They also have complimentary piña colada sherbet for dessert. For my meal, I chose the CALAMARI + SCALLOP combo. For those who have never had teppanyaki before, it's as much about the show as it is about the meal. It's an interesting setup as you and your party sit with other parties around a large grill- it's social dining. After you get your soup and salad, the teppanyaki chef brings his cart over to the table and lights up the grill with alcohol and oil for a fiery opening. He then starts grilling food and puts the food directly on your plate depending on what people ordered. For the first course, the teppanyaki chef grills mushrooms and onions for all. He then flips eggs and makes fried rice. Afterwards, he starts grilling the meat and then grills another round of veggies (bean sprouts and cabbage) for everyone. There are two dipping sauces: A1 Sauce and A2 Sauce. A1 (soy-based) is used for beef and chicken and A2 (mayonnaise-based) is used for seafood. I personally preferred A1 much more than A2 as it was sweeter and less watery. Then again, both sauces fell flat in my opinion. It would have been better if they had provided teriyaki sauce instead. Unlike the usual CALAMARI rings that you get at most restaurants, they grilled a steak of it and cut it up into small pieces. It was moist but kind of rubbery with little taste. The SCALLOPS were better than the calamari, but I can honestly say they weren't super sweet or flavorful either. I tried a bite of my companion's FILET MIGNON and I regret not getting that instead. It was moist, juicy, and tender. Now I know to order steak when I go to another steak house. Portions are generous and I was stuffed by the end of the meal. With that said, prices are between $20-$30 per person and other than the piña colada sherbet, I can't say that I was impressed by the quality of the food; the food was just bland. Our chef, Sonny, was extremely nice, personable, and attentive, putting on a fantastic show for our party. However, as aforementioned, the general service was on the slower side and I definitely wouldn't wait 40 minutes again for a meal. The atmosphere is dark and the music is loud and so you can't really have a conversation with the people around you. The interior is also worn and dated and in much need of a refresh. Overall: 3/5 for food, 2.5/5 for service, 2.5/5 for atmosphere

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. Paid damn near 90 something dollars for 2 adults and 1 teen. Only reason I went back here was from nostalgia years ago when it was like 17 per person and the food was reasonably good for the price. For almost 30 a person this was a highway robbery with absolutely nothing to show for. I only managed 2 measly Victorian peasant size plates before I had to go to the toilet. The state I left the toilet should've been a crime, and the restroom is in absolute despair with stall doors broken, toilet tank lid not even on a couple of them. Only thing that was alright was the servers keeping the tables clear of plates and actively making sure people were good. Praying y'all don't make this costly mistake to your wallet and health.

Feast Buffet really stepped up their game. The food tastes way better than I remember -- honestly…read morecloser to a sit‑down restaurant than a typical buffet. The dim sum was a big surprise for me; I usually skip siu mai at buffets, but everything looked so good I tried it, and it was just as tasty as ordering it by the piece at a dim sum spot. Lunch had tons of variety: pan‑fried prawns, crayfish, frog, salt‑and‑pepper fried fish, a make‑your‑own beef noodle soup station, and a full Mongolian grill. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I also loved the salad bar, especially the mango and papaya. Drinks included in the price is a nice bonus. The place looks cleaner and nicer than before, and even though we drove 45 minutes from the Eastside, it was totally worth it. Feast Buffet has definitely leveled up.

Located in the Renton Shopping Center near Fred Meyer, this buffet has really surpassed the test of time. I remember coming here when I was a kid during important family events, however I think the last time I came was around 10 years ago! I think it's pretty safe to say that things have remained consistent over the past many years. To be honest, I'm not a big buffet person - I feel like the quality of the food is often traded for quantity and at my big age I really cannot force myself to eat more than like 2-3 plates of food anymore. But I will say, Feast definitely exceeded my expectations! It has a lot of great asian choices, as well as options for children/people with different palates! I've was a huge fan of the sushi/seafood options, especially the salmon sashimi they had. It was SO fatty I had so many bowls of it. There wasn't really anything that disappointed me, though the crab/lobster line was long (as expected). Staff were kind, and were pretty consistent in clearing out my table and I thought everything was pretty clean! Honestly I'm tempted to return (maybe for lunch since it's cheaper) but I do think that Feast Buffet is definitely a gem of Renton.
