a variety of condiments on a table

Stopped by for lunch before heading to HMart. Reviewed the menu while waiting for the staff member. I went with fresh spring roll and #27 pho. I think the fresh spring rolls were premade, the skin was bit hardened. First time trying hot peanut sauce, never had it hot before. Can't say if it's better hot or cold, I guess it's really up to your personal taste. Pho was decent. Their broth was more of beef bone soup, wasn't too sweet, which I liked. It also did not have the strong aroma spice flavors like star anise. I was also bit surprised by them giving me a bottled water instead of tap water. Now I had hard time between 2 or 3 stars but went with 3. The difficulty was due to their prices. I had the most expensive pho of my life - $13.95. Typically in my area it's less than $10 for larger bowl then what they served. The fresh spring roll was $8 for 3 pcs. I mean I get it, inflation is at all time high, supply chain is an issue but man it's crazy at these prices.

It's been a hot minute since I've been to Pho Hang - definitely pre-COVID. I know they've gone through a few management changes in the past decade or so but wow, the interior looks a lot different than before. Pho was perfect for today's rainy weather. Pho Hang was definitely one of the OG pho restaurants that have been around for a long time. My friend and I arrived at around 12:30. Despite a smaller crowd of people dining in, it still took 25 minutes for our pho to come out. I appreciate them for giving us bottled water here. #25 HOUSE SPECIAL PHO SOUP - PHO DAC BIET - 13.45 My first taste test is always the broth by itself. It was a lighter colored broth that was a bit light in taste but savory. A good amount of beef and onion ratio - would prefer something with more spice and stronger overall, though. Honestly, this was pretty expensive for pho given the portion size. There was a good amount of noodles (too overcooked and mushy), but not a lot of meat. There were only 1 or 2 pieces of each type of meat, too. Overall, the pho here is just OK. I was expecting a bit more and today's pho wasn't quite there. Overall, I will try other pho restaurants in the area before returning. However, I'm not opposed to trying the non-pho items here in the future.

This place has amazing broth. It's totally underrated. Expect hole in the wall atmosphere with the sweetest woman who waits tables.

This used to be my go to place for Viet. It's a trifecta, located in a plaza with an Asian bakery and grocery store. I have tried half their menu and have never disappointed. Haven't visited for a while since it is on the edge of where I normally go. However, this can become a five after my next visit.

This used to be my favorite place for bun thit nuong because the meat was grilled to perfection and the whole bowl is just delicious, but it's gone a little bit downhill with the pork. It doesn't have the same Smokey charred flavor anymore, but still a pretty solid spot.

By far the worst Vietnamese place around. The pho broth is literally beef broth with no flavor. Low quality meat as well. The shaking beef smells inedible. Save your time and taste buds and go to Que Houng

Quaint small business. Run by only a couple people so expect wait time to be slow to receive your food. I ordered the house special pho, and the broth was good, however, the noodles seemed over cooked. They were wayyy too soft. Additionally, the ratio between cooked brisket & rare beef was off (way more brisket). Overall, I think there are better pho places to visit in the area, but it's nice to support small local businesses.

Tasty pho! The soup is very well balanced and it's a hearty bowl of noodles for a cold night.

Overall score 3/5 Found this place looking for a quick viet fix. I wanted to try something new other than the normal places I go to which is Thang Long and Que Huong. I decided to venture down Dequindre since there are a ton more viet places down that road. I found this spot since it was next to the Asian bakery I wanted to go to after. To start...i like hole in the wall places, they are probably the best places to eat at. I'll start with the positives, the waiter was nice, very attentive, a little swamped I think since he's by himself, seemed a little hard for him to multi-task, but he was super nice. The prices are reasonable to cheap IMO. The egg roll was different, actually pretty good. Now for the turn off...the restaurant seemed like it's not as clean as you would hope. Again, a hole in the wall place I can usually stand but this one was on the iffy side. Honestly I was a little hesitant to drink the water. The viet food was also in the iffy side. It was okay, not as bad as Saigon Diamond but not great either. I'm viet so I do my best to support this community by taking all my friends to these restaurants I find, but I probably wouldn't take them here unfortunately. Again, please don't read this and not think it's not worth a try, there are things here you should try, I just wasn't satisfied with this visit. Food review: - seafood egg noodle soup 2.5/5 - vermicelli Noodles with pork, egg rolls, etc 2/5 (noodles were super soggy) - egg roll 4/5

Another delicious and nutritious meal at Pho Hang! The staff here rocks and the coffee always hits the right spots!

Food is good, but nothing to write home about. Portions are amazing. I always get the vermicelli with pork and spring rolls and summer rolls as an appetizers, and both are pretty good. They always have a TV playing in the background, and my hunch is that they change what they play based on what they think the current customers like. Which I found quite amusing. There are a number of Vietnamese restaurants in this area, and none of them truly stand out in any way or another. When my friends and I want pho, it's really just a random selection of one of these places.

Best pho restaurant I've been to ever. Everything came out fresh, hot and so flavorful. My husband doesn't usually like pho but he definitely enjoyed the pho here. The only thing for me is that they don't clean their shrimps properly in my opinion. I know some people don't care about that but it's like a big deal for me so maybe don't order a shrimp pho, cause I just ended up picking mine out of my food all together so I wouldn't have to work about it. The spring rolls and egg rolls were really really good as well. I'd definitely go here again. The staff was really friendly and thorough as well and their prices are super affordable.

The French bread is so crispy & fresh, and it's quite full. Delicious! It was large enough to share, which we did. It's probably 10-12" long, and we generally want a lighter lunch. While I was waiting this time, I really checked out their pastry/desert case, and they were all gorgeous! They said they come from a local bakery. I'm not usually a desert person, but I got a slice of the Pistachio Ricotta layered cake and it was so good. Really light; thinking layers of cake and thicker layers of both of the two fillings. Perfection Open & airy, nice relaxing space in this building that was formerly Panera. I can't understand why they weren't packed with people. Get out there & support local restaurants!! Fresh, delicious ingredients! Ready pretty quick too, so it's a great lunch hour option. I'll get more pictures of next time I go, though I did get a picture some of the pastries.

The décor and ambiance are what you'd expect from a modern boba café: bright, casual, and spacious. They offer a wide selection of desserts, pastries, coffee, and boba drinks. On this visit, we ordered the Vietnamese coffee, pork pastry, pork bánh mì, cupcakes, and brownies. While the cupcakes and brownies were a bit underwhelming, the Vietnamese coffee, bánh mì, and pork pastry were all excellent and easily the highlights of the visit.
