Especially out this way. 3) potions- you will get full. This is a meal that will satisfy you but won't leave you bloated. I appreciate that you can add whatever sauce you'd like. 4) Service- Always a welcoming smile upon entry. Staff is sweet but on the ball. Casual atmosphere. They have two tV screen for viewing and music playing. Music could be turn down a little it was a bit loud sitting there eating dinner. The food itself, I thought was good. Chicken had a nice flavor but could use a little more sauce which they do have available bottles of teriyaki sauce, spicy Sriracha and soy sauce at counter for additional add on flavor. I did add a side of their mad sauce as well and it was well worth it. Nice heat and added flavor, worth the upcharge. Vegetables were good, rice might have been a little overcooked, but all in all, I think I liked this more than some of our Hawaiian teriyaki places. read more

Ordered takeout for 3 and the food did not disappoint. Flavorful and large portions with lots of protein in each bowl. Everything was well seasoned and delicious, but honestly the service and the cleanliness was even better. For somewhat fast food this place is A-OK. I had the steak teriyaki with noodles and the small dish is good to tide a person over for a while. But the flavor was nothing spectacular, it's kind of hard to mess up teriyaki. Teriyaki madness fills that fast casual simple ingredient lunch or dinner option. They have a standard order system of a main, a side, and steamed veggies. As far as eating out goes, it's pretty clean food. I ordered the steak with fried rice & steam veggies. The flavor on the meat was solid. The fried rice had a decent amount of veggies and egg bits in it. Finally, the steamed veggies was a nice touch. The major plus about this place is that most of the food tastes the same whether you dine in or take it home. Because this type of meal is scarce, I do think Teriyaki madness deserves a 4 out of 5. Noodles had a strong peanut flavor (I'm assuming they're cooked with peanut oil) but other than that, they were bland. The chicken & veggies were freshly cooked, the crab ragoons were ok as well. I have brought every person I can think of including my family and everyone has asked to go back!! Chicken is tender and delicious, veggies are high quality broccoli, zucchini, cabbage and onions, all fresh cooked, and the owner is so friendly and personable. It's a fast casual place with a simple concept--choose your protein (chicken thighs or breast, steak, salmon, battered fried orange chicken, etc) and you can choose their standard teriyaki sauce, spicy teriyaki, orange sauce etc, your base of white or brown rice, fried rice, noodles, (or for no carb get extra veggies), and then if you want veggies or not. My favorite is the chicken breast teriyaki bowl with fried rice and veggies. Sooooooo good!! I have also tried the spicy chicken, orange chicken, chicken thighs, (all good) and noodle base. Everything has been exceptional. Also they put a bottle of their teriyaki sauce on all the tables so you can add more if you want. The food was alright, the katsu sauce was better than the Hawaiian place farther down Metcalf. The vegetables were over cooked, the chicken was a little tough. For fast food bowls it is fine if you are in the neighborhood. Service was friendly, the kitchen is a little slow and if you don't mind 80's background music it was fine. read more

Fast casual was the plan for our friday afternoon lunch & this place was new and nearby. After looking at other Yelp reviews and the menu we selected the Spicy Chicken combo (drink & egg roll) with the white rice base and the steak teriyaki with a brown rice base. You have other options of a base; vegetables but the noodles & Yokisalbo style are an additional cost. A small container of teriyaki sauce is provided with your meal. They have 3 sizes and we got the regular which is a decent size portion. Our meals were hot and flavorful with a good amount of protein, vegetables, & rice. The decor is more on the fast food style vs a casual style. This would definitely be a place you could order on line and pick up your meal due to all the ingredients being separated in the bowl and a side container of sauce. read more
