I've been to this cool Paris-themed Vietnamese spot multiple times now! I love the vibes and the design, it's located right next to the Old Westport area. The staff is always respectful and pleasant whenever I visit. I usually bring different friends here to check it out for the first time, and they always enjoy the food and ambiance. The prices are fair depending on what you order. I like trying something new each visit, but a must-try is definitely their Banh Mi - I've had the Special Combo and the Grilled Pork. Also, don't sleep on the Combo Croissant Sandwich! Everything is fresh, though I highly recommend eating there; if you take it home, the bread can get soggy. For drinks, their boba is great. My favorites are the Lychee Strawberry Fruit Tea and the Peach Green Tea. On my most recent visit, I tried the R1: Grilled Pork Chop & Broken Rice (Cơm tấm sườn bì chả). It was a huge portion with broken rice, pork chop, shredded pork skin, meatloaf, and fresh veggies, served with house fish sauce and a side soup. Very delicious! I also tried the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer. It was more like a standard shrimp tempura; I was expecting shrimp wrapped in thin spring roll wrappers, so it was just 'okay' for me. One area for improvement is the cleanliness; the tables and bathroom could use more work and attention. Also, there were restock boxes in the front that were blocking the two big lounge seats. Overall, Paris Banh Mi is a solid place to eat and hang out, with good food for a decent price!
Gorgeous Space! Plenty of seating, plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have always gotten a Bahn Mi. They are delicious, served in a fresh baked French Baggette, and flavorful! There are about 10 different ones, if you can't handle spicy let them know so you aren't surprised. For beverages, they have either bottled or specialty drinks. They sometimes have baked goods, but they usially sell out in the evening. Crab Rangoons, fries, calamari, and the Korean Corn Dogs ( i like to slice up and share ) are great ways to start. The Crepe Cakes are my favorites for dessert. If they had actual silverware and plates instead of plastic and disposable, it would be a five star experience!
Decor and ambiance felt light and airy. I love the amount of seating they had in the dining area. Staff were friendly. Service was average. I've been here twice and food comes with a wait. Banh mi's are hands down one of the best in KC right now. Decent portion of pate on sandwiches are key. And they aren't stingy. Loved the length of the banh mi too. The Hot Cheeto korean corn dog was disappointing. Batter is too thick and not crispy. I'd skip on this.
I constantly pick up soup from here, I've had the beef stew which was decent but always get the steak pho. I've had this pho at least half a dozen times and think it has the most flavor of any beef phos I've had in the KC city proper area. This pho definitely has that 5 spice/anise flavor which may not be for everyone, but over the years I've been disappointed by the watered down flavorless phos that have penetrated the KC restaurant landscape. Once their pho was slightly more oil-y, but hasn't been an issue since. It's very consistent and warming, and you can call in or order online for pickup very easily. All the workers are nice and helpful. I haven't tried the sandwiches or drinks but my friend absolutely loved the grilled pork banh mi. And it's always nice there's an open parking lot with plenty of spots.
Vietnamese beef stew is a favorite of mine and they did not disappoint. Right amount of heat and a great blend of spices with plenty of rice noodle. Paired with a mango matcha boba for a tart, sweet finish. Korean corn dogs, creative cheese cake combinations and bahn mi sandwiches with plenty more options from their fairly large menu. With lots of pictures, appreciated:) Space is big and bright with lots of nods to their French/Vietnamese inspiration. For the Volker/Westport area they have a rare private parking lot. Staff was nice, accommodating and a regular wait time. Fun place, worth a visit who knows could become a regular:)
the service definitely improved with the gentleman who came to check on our experience rather than the one taller gentleman who took our order. the banh mi flavor was good and its quality was also good, but i wish either the meat was more succulent or some sort of sauce was added (or added more) to make the bites less dry. the baguette was a bit on the harder and firmer side, but we would love to return to try it again. the space was clean and quiet, it makes for a comfortable and casual spot to pick up a lunch or a snack. great menu option for those who want pho instead of banh mi.
This place is flames. Banh mi is on point. Croissant Sammie's are just ok. Chitos corn dog is incredible.
Finally a decent banh-mi place in Kansas City! We really needed one here. If you want incredible authentic banh mi, this is the place for it. Banh mi is baked fresh to serve. Pate and butter were proportion to the rest of the fillings. Crispy banh mi shell. Lot of flavors. We ordered # 1 for both banh mi & croissant. And we finished it within a minute or two. Both were delicious and very tasty. The dinning room is spacious and bright. There are plenty of seatings. Small parking but they also have street parking. They also have lots of drink selection and bakery goods . Thank you to owner for bringing this to Kansas City! We can't wait to go back to try more items.
I came in for a beverage and a dessert to go after eating lunch in the neighborhood. I wanted one of the prepackaged danishes that they feature on an island counter; but all the flavors that I wanted were unavailable. I settled on a tiny slice of cheesecake and a sea salt iced coffee. With the credit card surcharge, tax and tip, I ended up dropping $20. Way too pricey to be on my rotation of regular stops. With it also being a national chain and having a parking lot from hell, I don't really see any reason to return anytime soon to sample the rest of the menu.
Food: we ordered two banh mis to go + veggies in the side and they gave us one small bag of veggies for the two sandwiches. When I had asked about it thinking it was a mistake, they said to just split it. The menu has a "cash price" and "credit price" but when you pay cash, they charge you the credit price...so beware. The drink was good and creamy. Boba is an additional cost. Service: unprofessional but friendly. The cashier was eating and taking our order. Ambiance: floors were super dirty and tables were not clean.
I love sandwiches, and a banh mi is one of my favorites so when I heard we were getting a new banh mi shop I was excited. This is a chain restaurant, but the quality is great and the staff is kind and wanting to help. The space is industrial and they have packed so many things into one space. You can get to go pastries, Vietnamese snacks, desserts that include vegan, and ice cream or mochi. This all on top of the sandwiches, corn dogs, and pho. So many options. For my first time I decided to go with the pate and BBQ pork sandwich. The bread was perfect crispy but soft at the same time. The ratio of meat, veggies, and bread was also done well. The pate was soft and gamie, the pork had that iconic Vietnamese barbecue flavor, and the veggie had just the right pickle. I took my sandwich to go, so without needing to ask they put my veggies on the side so my sandwich was not soggy when I got home. It is the little things that count. I will go back!!
I've recently been frequenting Paris Banh Mi and have noticed the consistency of the taste of my banh mi (B1) Special Combination has been great. The artichoke tea is a favorite. The service has also been fast and friendly. Sometimes I takeout and sometimes I eat in but either way it's good experience. The seats are not too close together so it makes the atmosphere more comfortable. They do see me in here a couple of times a week at least! read more

I've been wanting to try Paris Bahn Mi for quite a while so I decided to finally stop in. The building is quite large and they have decent parking. I attempted to order online but they shut down online ordering fairly early-it was well before closing, so I headed there to order. The individual who assisted me was friendly and the restaurant seemed very clean. They have cute decor. I did take my order to go because it was getting close to close and I didn't want to be that person. I ordered a ton of things. Eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach but I don't mind leftovers. I started with a couple of appetizers. The first being the sugarcane shrimp patties: Shrimp patties delicately wrapped around sticks of sugarcane, presenting a harmonious blend of savory seafood notes. They come three to an order and were interesting. I liked the texture of the shrimp patties and they did have a good flavor. Would I get it again? Maybe. I also tried the fried lobster balls. Those come 5 to an order and were exactly what they said-fried balls of lobster. They were also good but they have several other appetizers so I would probably opt to try a few more things out. They have Korean corn dogs and because I've never had one, I decided that needed to change. I ordered the potato half and half-half dog, half cheese. It was huge. Like way bigger than I thought. I liked the potato outside, it was crispy and tasted like a giant French fry. Lots of cheese and the dog was a dog. I don't regret getting it but I would have to be in the mood to get one again. It was fun though. My favorite item was the grilled pork croissant: butter mayo, house sauce, jalapeño, cucumber, and cilantro with pickled radish and carrot. It was so good and what I will definitely return for. The pork had great flavor, the veg was a crunchy, refreshing flavor and the croissant was so flaky and delicious. My only complaint is that it got a little soggy on the way home but I popped it in the oven and voila! First world problem solved. Highly recommend. Finally, I had to get a boba tea. I went with the mango milk tea base and added mango popping boba. It was refreshing and delicious. I like that you can really customize your drink. I had a sip of a Thai tea with brown sugar boba and that will be what I get in the future. So good. I will definitely return and I highly recommend that you try it out. read more

The interior was soooo cute and bright and they even had a small white Eiffel Tower to tie the place together. When you walk in, on the right is like a bakery where they sell some baked goods as well as some bagged snacks! The special combo banh mi was very tasty and the bread wasn't too hard, not sure if the bread is house made though. Almost finished the banh mi before I could get a picture! The artichoke tea was so refreshing too and had just the right amount of sweetness and the toppings including jelly and chia seeds! read more

We popped in here the other day and were pleasantly surprised to find all sorts of yumminess! This is a counter service restaurant with limited seating but we did manage to snag one of their booths. The place is clean and bright and the workers were all very friendly and helpful. We ordered pork bahn mis and had to try the hot cheetos Korean corn dog... we had zero regrets! read more

Love this place! I get the combination banh mi and it is full of meat! I've ordered a few of the teas and they're really good. It's not bad for about an $8 sandwich. The inside is open and cute and has a wall of Vietnamese snacks and pastries. Super cute sandwich shop with snacks and desserts! read more

Neat spot with so many sweet treats! We picked the shredded chicken Banh Mì and split it so we could also try a Korean corn dog coated in ramen. The actual hot dog in that thing is delicious and I would totally try it with cheese. We also got pastries (both the apple leaf and the hazelnut filled shell shape were great) and a tiny piece of tuxedo cheesecake which was the only real disappointment (it was so thick it was hard and it had a kind of plastic wrap taste to it). read more
Had a chance to try this new place with my family. We had tried this place in the OG area of Orlando and was very excited to try it in KC. Location wise, it's in Westport on the most busy street. Parking is very limited so is street parking too. Inside, it's very bright and white. They have a large counter filled with bakery goods and even ice cream. Menu is very extensive too. Order some banh mis and croissant too. All were fresh but we didn't get the pork BBQ with our hence the pictures they didn't filled out banh mi up. Boba teas were a hit and miss. Fruti tea was not good. The artichoke tea was my favorite. Mile tea was all right. Thai tea was tasty. Overall, I hope to come back and tried something different. read more

best bahn mi in the country has always been Paris bahn mi at every location from louisville ky to rosedale ca desserts are 10/10 boba is never hard and has perfect sweetness definitely come give them a try next time you're looking for vietnamese food they also have korean corn dogs read more

I've been here a couple times and highly recommend the banh mi! The baguette is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The combination of flavors was just right--the tangy pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and creamy mayo balanced the savory richness of the grilled pork. Highly recommend for a quick, satisfying, and delicious meal! Will be back to try their other menu items. read more
Stopped by during early opening! Spacious bánh mì shop. Bánh mì, croissants bánh mì, corn dogs, pastries, milk tea, dried snacks for sale. Some tables to sit down and eat with friends & family - casual, modern, & clean. Pricier than typical banh mi - a lil cheaper if you use cash. Very nice staff! Got special combo banh mi & vegetarian bánh mì. Thinner version baguette. Vegetarian was my fave!! Very lemongrass-y if you like that - I do! Overall - very happy to have more bánh mì shops in the area!! always a nice snack or easy lunch :) check 'em out! read more

Their banh mi is quite skinny, almost like it's on Ozempic, but it's packed with flavor. They include a generous amount of protein and veggies in the sandwich. On the other hand, the Paris by Night boba doesn't taste like typical brown sugar boba; it has too much of a tea flavor and not enough milk or syrup, which wasn't to my liking. The pho broth also misses the rich beef bone taste, making it hard to enjoy. Overall, the banh mi is spectacular, but their other items are less impressive. Despite this, the service is quick, and the employees are kind. TLDR; the banh mi is cheap and delicious, definitely worth trying." read more
