I've been here before as you can see my previous review. I made the trip here again and since it was cold and rainy I wanted to try their hot udon. Sine that did not seem like it'd be enough, I also ordered potato croquettes. The udon broth and noodles were pretty good. They put various fish cakes as well but I think they don't use often for the fish taste was stronger than I usually know of fish cake so maybe old. The croquettes were fried to a nice crispy outside and soft on inside. My only complaint is they had the wrong sauce. One was like a teriyaki and the other was a mayo based one. I've always use tonkatsu sauce for my croquettes. I just ate them plain.

Food was really good and fresh. The portions were solid and definitely filling. Everything tasted well seasoned without being too heavy. I'd definitely come back again.

Tempura udon, perfect for the cold weather

This is a favorite place. Have ordered different plates in the past and they were all satisfying. Favorite is the spicy chicken which is their version of the chicken karaage (fried chicken). Love the steamed vegetables. Service is good. There is enough seats inside but I see a lot of people pick up takeouts which I have done in the past as well. Today tried the tempura udon for the cold weather and enjoyed it. Thank you.

Got the combo of spicy thai chicken and beef teriyaki with rice and veggies which was a perfect pair. The spicy thai chicken was spicy enough for my taste while the beef teriyaki was sweet which made them a complimentary pair. The service was fast and the crew were nice. The tables and chairs were clean enough but there were only a few available.

Good service and servings. The daily lubch specials are good. I really like the Tuesdays & Thursdays lunch. But sometimes the chicken is cooked a bit to well. It still a great meal but i like my meat tender.

Chicken was so dry and hard it was completely inedible, I had to throw out a 50 dollar dinner and go somewhere else.

Did this place go out of business? I know several days ago they were closed and when calling them they mentioned something about a breakdown at their restaurant. I find it hard to believe that a breakdown to put them out of business for this long.

I believe that they are planning to reopen in January.

The pork broth was really rich and I love their noodles which was on the thin ramen noodles they also have a thick one that you can choose and also request but the one that comes with it is actually the thin ramen noodle. I love the barbecue pork inside which was chargrilled to Perfection and it was very tender and melts in your mouth. Also it comes with a really nice soft boiled egg too. . One of the really unique Ramen that I tried from here is their green pesto basil mixed with pork broth Ramen. If you love pesto and you love a rich pork broth this is the one to get for sure. I also added some bok choy and corn inside because I love it with my Ramen. . The Ambiance here is your typical Ramen House which is a really cozy spot with friendly family environment or just eating alone. The music in here is not too loud and it's great for catching up. The service is friendly and attentive and always checking up on your needs. . Overall I am a fan of this problem and if I'm looking for a good ramen in the Natomas area with some good appetizer bites this is the spot I would go to. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading and have a yelp-tastic day.

The fish is incredibly fresh and prepared to perfection, and the service is truly outstanding. Our server was courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive--what really stood out was that they remembered my gluten intolerance and proactively provided gluten-free soy sauce, which I greatly appreciated. We started with the spicy garlic edamame, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. My friend ordered the chicken teriyaki with wings, and I had the chirashi don paired with soothing Japanese green tea--everything was beautifully prepared and satisfying. To top it off, the restaurant treated my friend to a complimentary Mille-Crêpe cake for her birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. I consistently order the red bean panna cotta since it's GF--light, refreshing, and the perfect ending to the meal. This continues to be my go-to spot when I'm looking for a consistently excellent dining experience. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our experience here for a Friday lunch!…read more The restaurant is spacious, contemporary, & bright with a wall of windows that have effective shades. There are tables with chairs & bench seating. All the seating is cushioned. Art is on the wall, as well as a TV that had sports on. Mellow pop music plays in the background. We were greeted & seated as soon as we arrived. We received nice hospitality throughout our meal. Our friendly server was attentive, invited questions, checked in on us, cleared plates quickly, kept our water filled, & chatted with us. Lunch is within the timeframe for happy hour pricing for some items. Our eats-- BBQ Albacore--presented as slices versus chunks, flavorful with a nice sauce Salmon Teriyaki Bento--a lot of tasty food, every component was yummy, the salmon was a nice, thick piece that was cooked well Hot Snow White Roll--the mister really enjoyed this & said it was so close to being a perfect roll for him, but the fried jalapeños felt like they sat around & weren't freshly crisp Volcano Roll--a massive roll that was hearty & spicy, a little over sauced on some pieces, you have to finesse eating this one & negotiate it's big pieces, (personally wouldn't get again) Double Toro Roll--SO deliciously unctuous, ranks highly in my top rolls because I loves me some fatty fish, the freshness of the greens & pickled wasabi added brightness A couple of things really stood out. The dishware was beautiful & made the meal feel more special. The workers kept the place clean, tidying & organizing when they had opportunity. I would HAPPILY come back here to eat!

My partner and I each got a lunch set. Salad was great and so were the croquette and corn chawanmushi. Galbi was a little fatty but still good. Soft shell crab was too much crunch. I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

But once that nightclub got shut down ,the sushi restaurant which was independently owned from the nightclub had to move locations and they relocated to W El Camino Avenue in South Natomas. Azukar Sushi was the very first AYCE sushi spot I ever went to in Sacramento-way way back during the J Street days. Through the years I would stop here again for the nostalgia and to be reminded of how incredible a few of their dishes have always been. Well this is a recap of my most recent stop. The cost of the AYCE dinner at this location is $32.95.It gives you access to everything on the lunch and dinner menu-made to order. These are most, if not all of the items I had that meal.
