Order through door dash and my order came quickly, which means they prepared it quickly. I love the fact that they wrap each individual take-out tray with plastic so that you can tell if it was tampered with. I ordered the salt and pepper pork and the combo plate with sweet and sour pork and I opt to get all chow mein. The servings was very generous. I was able to make 4 meals out of it.. They chow mein was bland, but the soy sauce helped. The salt and pepper pork was perfect! Reheating that and the sweet and sour in the air fryer the next day is a must. I came here on my way to the Teriyaki place nextdoor, which if been to and was very happy with every aspect of my meal. Seeing that I hadn't tried Chang's yet, I gave them a try. I ordered a sweet n sour chicken combo which comes with rice and chow mein. Just like most do. I was quoted 15, it came out in 9 minutes. After walking back to my car and taking a bite of my egg roll, it ended up being cold in the center. When I came back in to inform the cashier, she had a new one made and that one was much better. Despite that, it definitely was barely room temperature as I was able to eat the whole thing within a minute and it didn't even steam. The very center was still cold, but it was passable. Upon taking time to try the rest of my plate, I noticed a bunch of fully raw vegetables mixed in with veggies of varying degrees of softness. Some had scorches, others were perfect, and others look like they were meant to be fresh garnish. My chicken wasn't coated or crunchy and all the sauce was at the bottom. After starting to eat, I noticed there wasn't NEARLY as much chicken as it should've been because below the chicken was a bed of the rice and chow mein, making it appear fuller. The chow mein and rice both tasted bland, but the soy sauce remedied them slightly. The chicken within the chow mein tasted like it had been freezer burnt prior to cooking. Overall I think everyone should try for their own opinion, but I personally will not be returning unless it's to receive a refund. P.S: There was corn in the plate for some reason??? read more

We always go here for the soups and noodles. They used to have a dining area, but they removed it during the pandemic. Now they just do take out. For soup, we like the chicken corn. On recent visit, we got the House Chow Mein, Beef Chow Fun, and the Singapore Noodles. Ordered in store, but it doesn't take long for food to be ready. About 10-15 mins. The favorite noodles as always is the Singapore noodles and least favorite is the beef chow fun. Chow fun had thicker than usual noodles. We've tried Singapore noodles from other places, but theirs for us is the best. Full of flavor. Will always order soups and noodles from here. Thank you. read more

They have great portions and prices aren't too bad. I think they also do catering too which is great if you need large portions. I made an order to-go through Doordash. It was ready and delivered quicker than most. It arrived hot and fresh. I ordered the pork fried rice and salt n pepper chicken wings. Both were $8-9 each. The rice was placed in a chinese box which I thought was small until I see that they JAM packed it! It probably weighed over a pound. It was perfect consistency for me (slightly sticky) and sweet :) I also liked that they put quite a bit of meat in it. The chicken wings were fresh and crispy. Always love the onions and jalapenos for flavor. You got 8 decent size wings in the order. Was it the best, no, but for the value/price, I feel it was pretty good. If you want to cut down on meat consumption, this is a must. One day, it was sold out and I was a bit disappointed. The chow mein is good with perfectly cooked noodles. The fried rice is hit and miss. I've ordered no white onion but once got an order 50% onions! Once, ordering bbq pork fried rice, our dish had pieces of white fish and was smelly, very fishy. I was nauseated all night after two bites. We order orange chicken Not spicy, and once it was too spicy to eat. My husband is used to spicy food so he could eat it. It wasn't his favorite, though. Their green beans are pleasant and worth a try. My niece enjoyed the prawn dish she ordered. If this place wasn't close, I would't have tried it again. I think I've learned my lesson with this place. Ordered two combination plates tonight and have to say the food was delightful. Such generous portions and so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the lemon chicken. Honestly everything I've tried here is good. It's just takeout at this location and worked perfectly for me and my family. For my family it is hard to find good Chinese food so I have been passing up Chang's by Raleys for the pass 5 years driving across town. Not only is the food good but right in my neighborhood. Today, without knowing we placed an order for three combo plates ten minutes before they closed their doors, however, upon arrival we were apologetic and they were so graceful with us. I'm surprised by the low ratings I'm seeing, as I've eaten here MANY times and the food is always very, very good. The chicken and broccoli is SO FRESH! Never any weird "chicken pieces" like you get at some restaurants; this is chicken breast. Also, their kung pao shrimp is also really good and super fresh. I haven't had anything here that I don't like. And, the one on Del Paso is very good about substitutions. I'm allergic to bell peppers so always ask for broccoli in my kung pao, which they happily accommodate. This has become my go-to Chinese place. And, I grew up in the Bay Area (SF, Oakland), so I'm NOT a Asian food novice. read more

Service was ok. Just horrible horrible food. If Panda Express makes better food and charges literally half the price, your business won't last long. They seriously need a new cook! One that knows real recipes and not some made up recipe based on photos, because that's what the food tasted like. Their sweet and sour sauce is pathetic, runny, artificial color mess. Their fryer isn't hot enough so it barely cooks the batter but doesn't crisp it, gross. Salt and pepper fish was pretty tasteless despite it having jalepenos and salt and pepper. It's pretty bad, this place marks one of the few strings of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. 1 star- One of the worst! Will never return! 2 stars- Below average. Very unlikely to return. 3 stars- Average. Will not make specific plans to return but may visit again if a friend wanted to go or if I'm in the area. 4 stars- I'm a fan. Overpriced!! I went here to grab dinner for takeout. Order 2 items, both were gross. The mu shu chicken was so saucy, the sauce was the consistency of water and the chicken was not tender at all. The kung pow veggies were even worse. A small portion of veggies were in a lot of super watery sauce that was definitely not kung po sauce- there were no peanuts in the dish, no chilis either. No other Chinese compares to my Chang's! I'm a picky little thing and they have the BEAT wonton soup, thin paper wrapped, doesn't compare to anyone else. They are not currently seating inside during Covid but I'm just happy they are indoors. I also enjoy their paper wrapped chicken, all their chicken dishes and fried rice. I can't go to any other Chinese restaurant in Natomas. Besides being in a little sketch parking lot, if you need to wait for your food, grab a quick drink at the all exciting Fire Wings next door. I've been to this restaurant once, and I would happily come again. I arrived shortly before their closing time wishing to dine-in, and was greeted with a warm smile and received stellar service. Their menu is nothing fancy, just a laminated piece of paper with options listed on both sides, but this makes it very easy to navigate and decide. I tried the combo plate with Sweet and Sour pork for $8.95; they give you a TON of food on that plate, enough for leftovers. It takes a little longer to receive your food because they make it to order right there in the open kitchen across the room. It's definitely worth the wait though because you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The chow mein is perfect with those "pillowy soft" noodles and the fried rice isn't too greasy and has lots of freshly cooked peas. The Hot and Sour soup is awesome. It has the perfect amount of heat and is savory as all get out with lots of tofu as well; a must try! I love Chinese food, it tastes really good, but it usually makes my body feel bad after wards.
