Mango lemonade, noodles , Seoul Chicken (House Special!) and steak and shrimp.

I was walking by the food court And one of the employees waived at me to try a sample She told me " it's halal" and honestly she didn't have to say much more! I love that their is a halal option at the food court . She was kind enough to let me sample more than one item . I went with the noodles , steak and shrimp and chicken . It tasted good for fast food.

I saw the reviews for this place and was surprised since it's a mall court spot that looks like a Korean panda express. You can get a plate with a couple items choices. They have noodles and fries rice, plus options for stir fries and Korean style fried chicken. Plus the food is halal! I like that they offer samples for you to try. I would say the food tastes good but on par with your typical food court Asian food. Good amount of food for the price.

Mind you I was with my two year old son and she did this all over me asking if they had black pepper... disgusting!

Mind you, this happened while I was with my two-year-old child. It was extremely upsetting to witness this kind of behavior from an employee in a public setting--especially in a place where families spend their money, children are present, and staff are expected to maintain professionalism. The conduct displayed was completely inappropriate and unacceptable for a workplace. I find it disappointing that management allows this type of behavior while someone is on the clock and representing their business. I would not spend a dime at any establishment that permits such unprofessional actions. Businesses should uphold standards that make all customers--especially families with young children--feel comfortable and respected.

Okay, so five stars may be a bit of a stretch, but not because of food quality or taste, and not because of customer service; no, it's only a stretch due to the setting. Seoul Express is located in the Arden Fair Mall food court. So because of the general ambiance, I can understand why some folks would rate it below five stars. I had to rate five, though, based on the awesome customer service, the friendly and helpful demeanor of the team, and because the food tastes really good! I don't make it out this way very often, but when I'm in the area I plan to return!

I've been here before and returned for the great service and tasty food. Rachael the owner/manager is always there and it feels like I'm becoming a regular customer. Today I got noodles with kung pao and teriyaki chicken. Will be back for sure.

I was standing in the Charlie's line but it took so long I decided to try this new Korean Spot. Food for my husband, he wanted the short ribs... Just by looking at it, it didn't look to appealing- got it anyway. Now my family are all cooks, including myself and when we BBQ or cook short ribs it's soaked in marinade and grilled to perfection. This here was NOT at all anything close. Plain and disappointing. It was a new establishment so we wanted to give it shot. But this is why we stick to what we know because when we tend to go out and try different things it's a hit or miss.

On a slow workday, it's a chill sit-down establishment to have a laugh with your friends. On a Friday or Saturday, it's a lively bar accentuated by all the neon lighting. I'm generally unimpressed by alcoholic drinks but the lychee martini fared above my expectations. It only tastes mild sweet but simultaneously masks most of the alcohol. The S.E.S.ame Dreams tasted similarly light on both the sugar and alcohol. The Pocha Shin Ramen tastes as advertised. It's instant ramen with spicy flavoring with some egg, spam, green onion, and tteokbokki added in there. Standard comfort food but also only $9 -- not bad for a bar. Cute place. Vibrant atmosphere that tends to suit a younger crowd. I might come back to try real food.

Apparently that night was their 3 (?) year anniversary, so not sure if this is always the case but they did have a whole live DJ on the main floor. When we arrived there were a couple other tables dining. There isn't much seating inside, and most of the tables ended up being blocked off for bottle service lol Me and my girl were there to eat so we ordered as many dishes as our tiny table could handle! Kimchi Carbonara - TBH this tasted like spaghetti... with some kimchi and bacon. It wasn't bad, but it tasted exactly the way I described it. They should just take the carbonara out of the dish's name completely. I wouldn't order it again, just cause the bacon flavor was really smokey and strong. Spicy wings - These were actually really good! Served with pickled jalapenos, pickled radish, and a cabbage salad! Just make sure you get some rice on the side. The wing sauce was spicy! Not overly, but just enough. It was sweet but not too sweet. I would recommend! Mandu- Decent. Not spectacular, but a good side to round out your meal. The dipping sauce was yummy, a nice sweet soy. Pink Venom - The flavor was so good. Tasted like a pink starburst. If you like sweet drinks, this one is it! Didn't taste the alcohol at all though. Parking sucks so bad, we had to park a couple blocks away and cross some train tracks but we made it! The waiters were so nice and checked up on us even with the whole party going on. The bouncers though didn't pass the vibe check and I didn't really like that we got IDed so many times. We're in our mid 30s lol.. be frr. The whole vibe is fun, they have a full bar and apparently in the back room, it's another bar/lounge scene. It wasn't that type of night for me, but I would come back to eat and hang out if I was in the area. Keep in mind though, the crowd is early 20s!

Based off the items ordered, I'd give them a 3, but their side dishes increase their rating for me. The tofu soup was super watery, even at a medium spice. I was also very underwhelmed that the only veggies in there were zucchini and cabbage. Bibimbap was average, didn't dislike it but nothing about it stood out. Galbi was for sure the best item, but also not a complicated dish and hard to get wrong; this is the only item I'd reorder. Service was fine/helpful, but a bit inattentive, especially given the number of tables they had at the time. When the need for the service animal isn't obvious, staff may ask whether the dog is required because of a disability and what work or task the dog has been trained to perform. What really made us decide to leave was how the situation was handled. I was in the middle of a phone call, but the server kept interrupting and insisting on documentation to the point where I had to end my call just to deal with it. We came in hoping for a quick, simple dinner, but instead felt uncomfortable and decided to leave without dining. I understand restaurants need to follow their policies, but staff should also be properly trained on ADA service animal requirements and handle situations like this appropriately.

First of all, the food served is exactly like the photos. I got the short rib bun burger and bulgogi gyoza. The burger (omg) had a balance of sweet and salty but also a little spicy. Halfway through I noticed something yellow, it was a pineapple! Usually I have mixed feelings about pineapple with foods like pizza. But this complimented so well. Now, the gyoza. Crispy and you can't go wrong with bulgogi. What I was surprised with was inside I think it was japchae! If you like Korean food like me, I was so excited to see this twist. And yes it was yummy. I seem to get lucky most times and get to meet the owners. That day I met them and they're so nice! I can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu, ingredients, decor, etc. The owners are Japanese and Korean. Hence KoJa! Even this detail was really impressive. I ended up going back because the owner told me that his wife (also owner) created Yang Nyum and it was really good and popular. So I got Yang Nyum, kamikaze fries, and taro boba. The portions were great. But most of all, he was right about Yang Nyum, delicious! I didn't realize the kamikaze fries had beef, so yummy but I definitely overate that day, lol. One other thing I really liked was you could order at the register or kiosk. This is a great way to avoid lines. Once you order they have a screen that shows your ETA (why do other restaurants not have this?). I did go during the day though. So, I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Especially after dancing or bar hopping, the food here would pair well. Koja also sells alcohol too though and apparently downstairs is where the dancing is at. Will I go here again, absolutely.

There is a huge parking lot in back of the restaurant.

He wanted me to enjoy this particular restaurant because they're only open on weekdays. We parked along the Capitol Mall, then walked over. The building is very clean and modernized. Ordering was somewhat easy- the bulgogi burrito (name?) wasn't on the overhead menu but it was on a placard. We got one each; I chose the "meal option" which came with fries and a drink. Took under 10 minutes to be ready. Each came with a small container of spicy sauce (a more liquidy gochujang aioli?). Bulgogi burrito: spicy, tangy, meaty. No skimping on meat. Good balance of kimchi with other ingredients. The french fries and drink weren't necessary. I'm not an "I'll take the meal option" kind of guy; not sure why i went for it this time, honestly ‍ i'd like to try loaded fries in the future, though. I WILL be back and I will be bringing the wife! And we will probably get three (to split an extra) or four (for my lunch the next day)!

The only comment I'd make is that I wish it had a better rice to protein ratio. Food: 4.1 Service: 4.4 Ambiance: 4.7 Value: 4 Marcels foodie score: 4.3
