We had a great lunch here yesterday. It was very busy but we were able to find a table inside. The inside is small and pretty dark, but we were lucky to grab the table by the window. I think it is self serve for free water, so we did help ourselves. The menu was pretty extensive, my mom ordered the teriyaki chicken, it came with a generous amount of meat, sticky rice and a traditional salad (lettuce with the mayonnaise dressing. I ordered the chicken yakisoba, which was great but I would have rather had a salad in exchange for the massive sticky white rice. I will know for next time!! read more

Food was a bit too salty for my taste. Woman who took my order was a bit rude. I got the impression she doesn't really care about the customers. The seating was a bit dated but it's good enough if you're just in there for a quick bite to eat. Be wary of parking. It's a busy area people driving in and out of the shopping area. Teryaki Town used to serve freshly cooked beautifully prepared vegetable stir fry. The chicken was fresh, moist, and freshly cooked to perfection. The vegetables likewise. The sauce and seasonings were delicious The chicken in today's stir fry was a bit ripe, dry, and overcooked, as if it had been cooked beforehand. The vegetables were cut into tiny bits, with tiny bits of cabbage dominating. The sauce was unpleasant. On top of new, even high prices, the owner wanted me to add a tip when I picked up my takeout meal at the counter. (I tip waiters for restaurant service, not owners for take out.) This is a re-write of an old review, but I see that this place payed to have my review removed by a company hoping I wouldn't notice after all these years. I was a regular here, always ordered the same thing and always sat in the same seat and table. As a truck driver, I arrived here after driving for some time. I walked in and headed for the restroom to pee, and wash my hands before ordering. The lady ran around the counter and blocked me and told me I needed to order first. A little confused, I told her I needed to use the restroom first. She again said I needed to order first. I guess I could understand if I was not a regular, but I was, always in my same uniform. I walked over miffed, ordered my lunch, and then payed cash. I looked up at her and told her to keep my money and my food so she could afford the water and soap I would have used for the next guy. Told her I wouldn't be back. Walked next door to SUBWAY, walked right over to the bathroom, WITHOUT ANYBODY BLOCKING ME, came out of the bathroom, and ordered another lunch for another $10 and it was delicious. Again, Lady, I hope you spent my $10 well, because it was the last dollar you will get from me. You in the past years, if it matters to you, have lost out on at least $100 to $150 in my future business ... so far since that day years ago. Favorite teriyaki place. Great portion sizes, convenient, right off the freeway, good flavors. It's very traditional Seattle teriyaki, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Everything tastes great, they're fast, I can understand them and they can understand me, the menu is extensive. Heck yeah! Seattle has a wealth of great teriyaki places, but this is one of the best. It's everything I want out of good teriyaki -- tender, flavorful meat, sticky rice, and generous portions. Every order comes with a free canned beverage and a cup of miso soup, so it's a great value for your money. And if teriyaki isn't your thing, they have bento boxes, sushi, and bubble tea (none of which I've tried, but they're on the menu). I have now tried their bubble tea on a few different occasions and it was awesome! To be fair, this is the only bubble tea I have tried and thus, cannot compare it to anything else, but it's delicious. I even had my homebwah "The Big Baby" try some via "airplane going into the hangar" method and he liked it. And he usually doesn't like ANYTHING. Again, awesome teriyaki, awesome bubble tea which is Big Baby approved and excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended. I requested regular teriyaki chicken instead of Katsu with the tempura prawns but they would not budge/allow it. I was even willing to pay more. This is our favorite Teriyaki place of anywhere! We found this place back in 2011 as we were looking for a place to eat while apartment searching. And we go back as often as we can when we find ourselves back in the area. We love their teriyaki chicken! And their beef teriyaki is amazing! We love whatever sauce/marinade they use for the beef. It is very unique and so delicious! We don't eat a lot of sushi, but whenever my nephew comes to visit, it is also his favorite sushi place! Friendly and delicious! We always get take out from here, and even though she says ten minutes it's usually ready in seven. The food is always fresh and hot, nicely seasoned and they have great fried rice (which you can substitute for two dollars on any meal). The to go food comes with steamed veggies, mostly cabbage but i prefer that, and the in house food comes with a little salad. The decor is clean and cute with murals of scenic tulip fields and waterfalls, and they always play classical music, very calm and soothing compared to annoying pop music. Every dish comes with a soda and miso soup. Their egg rolls are to amazing too, big with lots of filling. The meat in the teriyaki is not cheap or fatty like some places and is grilled properly. I usually get the beef and broccoli which is made with a great home made sauce and the meat is also high quality as well. Bubble Tea Review!! I did not eat here. I happened to be driving past and saw the bubble tea sign on the window, being a boba lover, I stopped in. I had the Taro Smoothie with tapioca. The smoothie itself was delicious. The boba seemed to be cooked well, but when mixed into the frozen smoothie it got a little tough. One complaint is that they only have smoothies, I normally prefer tea. My second complaint is that my smoothie was $6! I can usually get a boba drink for around $3-4. I am giving this a two star because I was satisfied with my drink, but it was expensive. read more

I enjoy going here but typically only get a couple of things so I cannot speak to the majority of the menu. The teriyaki is basic, and good, and exactly what you would expect. You get the rice (brown is a little more), the chicken on top, and the salad, I also usually get the gyoza as well. I really enjoy how they have the actual containers of sauce on the tables, I always like extra sauce. And they have free miso soup to eat/drink while your food cooks. From what I've been told, Teriyaki places are the equivalent of McDonalds. They are EVERYWHERE! And when I was out there, I probably saw 2 actual McDonalds. I mean, instead of McDonalds, if you can have Japanese/Korean places that are healthier for you and tastes good for around the same price, you can't ask for anything more. For about $5-7, you can get a healthy portion of meat, rice, and salad with miso soup on the side. The best way I can describe the taste of the food is "clean." Have had food from here twice, and found it delicious both times. Tonight was the spicy chicken, my husband had the garlic chicken - we were both very happy with the quality and size of the portions. We had gyozas on the side, which were fantastic. I hear folk complaining that it's just one scoop of rice - but it's a BIG scoop! And the portion of meat was very generous. Rice is cheap - GIVE ME THE MEAT! It was clean, tender and good quality - no nasty gristly bits, or mysterious odds and ends. There's no ambiance to speak of - a few dusty fake flower arrangements hanging on the wall, and paintings you might find in your granny's bathroom, but we were there for take-out and didn't care. We also didn't know it came with miso soup - nobody told us when we were there and there's no sign saying so, but I'm still giving five stars because the food was that good. We ordered three entrees all together and two sides and spent $39. Perhaps a tad pricey, but again, we didn't care - it was delicious and it was enough for dinner tomorrow too! read more

Looks like some of the other reviews were from a while ago... Had a solid experience here for a quick dinner. My wife's yakisoba was solid and had some character (cinnamon?) and my spicy chicken was some of the better teriyaki I've had. I eat a lot of teriyaki - I like it when it's candied up a bit around the edges, but not tough. Good stuff. Prices didn't seem that bad. 2 main dishes, a side of shrimp tempura for the kid, split a bubble tea for $24. I think some of the reviews here are a bit off base, or the place has gotten their #&@( in gear. read more
