True truffle fries are cooked in truffle oil but the sauce was ok to dip in. Broccoli was good but asked for no butter and it came drenched in butter. Second meal was tenders with peppercorn ranch with Mac and cheese and onion rings. Arrived with no peppercorn ranch. Pasta was cooked ok but cheese sauce was literally water. Chicken tenders had the right taste but were dry. Onion rings were good and still crispy. First, the service was amazing! I can't remember her name-but the young lady was very good, helpful and kind. The ambiance was exciting, gave off a good feeling and peaceful at the same time. The Food: Appetizer, the fried dill pickles were crisp, served hot with peppercorn ranch and were delicious! We had three at our table, I had the Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, extra gravy all over and coleslaw, it was fantastic. My Wife had the lodge burger and loved it. Aspen Creek Grill is Whitestown's newest steakhouse. My daughter and I had lunch there today and the food is good. The dining room has a lodge sports bar feel to it. Massive tv monitors surround the bar. The chairs are a little hard and uncomfortable, so we got moved to a booth. The place was close to full for Friday lunch. The staff is friendly. Our server, Ian, was super attentive, helped with ordering and checked on us multiple times. My daughter had the hand breaded tenderloin, which was awesome. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the pork was moist and tender. The seasoned fries are downright addictive. I had the lunch pick two with house salad and chili. The house salad is ok, but the raspberry chipotle dressing is fabulous. The dressing is spicy and tasty without being sweet (5 star dressing). The chili was good, it was a tad too cold for me, but I should have said something when Ian asked, and I didn't. For the most part, my lunch was healthy and good. The restaurant offers interesting daily specials and happy hour drink specials. The prices are reasonable. I'll return to try a steak and report back. SYOY soon! read more

Variety of food options, fast service, and friendly staff. I'm grateful to have a new dining option in the Whitestown area - especially one with so many food options. While it was hard to narrow it down, I picked the Aspen Hawaiian Chicken with a baked potato (loaded with cheese and bacon, of course) and fresh broccoli. The chicken tasted smokey and felt bright because of the pineapple salsa on top. And the broccoli was nice and tender. My husband picked the traditional club - yes, there is a sandwich under that pile of fries! No complaints from him and I had to steal a few fries as these are my favorite style (slightly crispy and flakey). We visited Aspen to celebrate a birthday and were happily surprised with a brownie on the house for dessert. It was warm and topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. Decided to switch it up after church and try Aspen Creek. The restaurant was getting busy when I arrived, but I was able to be seated right away. Aspen Creek is a casual atmosphere... Come as you are. Joey was our server and she was great! She took the time to go over their large menu and even recommended a few of her favorite dishes and checking in with us regularly. I ordered the cheeseburger with all the toppings and upgraded to truffle fries. Burger was decent and fries were well seasoned. I think I'll stick with regular fries next time. We have gone to this location twice now. The first time had wonderful service, but only ok food. Second time had ok service, but better food. We do get interrupted a lot by staff coming over to ask if we wanted to be part of their loyalty program, despite repeatedly turning it down. The menu overall is great for a medium sized group setting, especially if you want food that would go great with a social drink. It was our 3rd time to eat there. It was just as they opened at 11:00am, on a Sunday morning. We felt as though the food may have been leftovers from Saturday night. My Creamed Chicken Alfredo was not very warm, and the chicken was a bit tough. My Son-in-laws BBQ ribs were tough and dry. The service was good, but we were a bit disappointed. The two pervious times we were there, the food and service was top notch. We were hoping for the exact service and food this time, but I guess they can't always be the on top. They have a full bar, but I really enjoyed my nonalcoholic drink... it tasted like an orange creamsicle. The steak had great seasoning and there are many side options! I ordered two meals. Both with sweet potato casserole. They forgot one. I called and informed them. They asked if I wanted a refund or come pick it up. I said pick it up. I arrive they first give me a ranch size cup with marshmallow stuffed in mashed sweet potatoes. I asked do you not cook them, they said no. I said my husband's was melted. They take it back and this what I received. Highly disappointed. Picture is partially eaten with the melted marshmallows. The other photo is the exact presentation I received of my other order when I took the lid off. Highly disappointed. If you don't cook the sweet potato casserole for to go orders it should be stated. This is a newer restaurant in Whitestown. I believe it has only been open about a month or so. It was right around Valentine's Day when we went so it was fairly busy. We joined the waitlist about 20-30 minutes before we arrived so we had no wait when we arrived. We sat in the bar area at a high top table and we had a very nice waitress who was very attentive. She checked on us often and refilled our drinks quickly. The food was really good! Hubby had the sriracha ribs and he said they were very good and fall off the bone. He would definitely get them again. I had the shrimp and grits and I enjoyed them. It was a large portion and had a good amount of shrimp in it. We were both very full when we left and the prices were fair and I didn't think they were excessive. I look forward to trying other dishes from them as they have a good selection on the menu. read more

Checked out the new Aspen Creek on a Friday night and it was packed! We checked in on Yelp, but unfortunately when we got there she said that doesn't do much and still quoted us an additional 30 mins. The vibe is like Outback and Texas Roadhouse combined. Once we got sat our server Ian was on top of it and great! I ordered the ribeye and it was a very poor cut of meat. A manager came over and was very dismissive and took it away and brought out a new one, that was the way overcooked. They ended up taking it off the bill. Ian was gracious and handled it great. We also got the queso dip and that was great! Kids food was ordered first and came out quick, which was helpful after the wait. We will come back after the hype dies down a little bit. It was our first visit, and she was super helpful with our menu questions. Two people got the baby back ribs special: full rack and two sides for $19.99. One person had the crispy chicken sandwich, one got the fish and chips, and one got the club sandwich. I opted for the Mountain sides: a Caesar salad and 3 sides. We have visited the restaurant on several occasions. The food is inconsistently delicious. One visit, the ribs were salty, I chalked it up to my sensitive taste buds. Another visit Saturday was a repeat. The mushrooms ordered by several of us at the table were so salty we had to exchange for a different side. The place was not busier than usual but it took over an hour to get our food with our appetizer arriving with our meal. The experience was disappointing.
